Visiting Wissahickon Brewing and wanted to grab dinner so we ordered from Lunchboxxx. The menu changes pretty often I guess, that's why it's not printed but you scan a QR code that links to a website. We ordered 2 sandwiches, fries, and onion rings. Our order probably took 15 minutes which isn't bad considering they were busy and it's made to order. Everything was really good and I like their sauces. Being anti-ketchup is a fun gimmick.

Phenomenal Philly Cheesesteak and fries! This was parked outside Odd Logic Brewing Company, and made a perfect compliment to the beer! Fast and friendly!

Weekends, Newtown Brewing enhances their homemade suds with special grub they select from the regional food truck universe. They have to make the cut to warrant a presence in their parking lot. Joel's Lunchboxxx out of Hamilton, NJ, is a bullseye with terrific homemade menu done in Joel's own creative style. This trailer can't cover the entire world of his cuisine, but what he's got going on, however limited due to space, is still great and representative of the rest of his repertoire. My choice, the Hamburger Gyro, had me inquire whether we were dealing in beef, or something more Greek, like lamb off the spit? No. It was still a half pounder, sliced and cut into pieces and stuffed into a hot pita; then enhanced with tomato, thin onion and lettuce, then drizzled with Russian dressing (not traditional white sauce). The rest of the styro container was filled with fresh cut, skin-on fries that remained crispy until I got it home. I left the top open to avoid condensation saturating the spuds and the pita. That move worked well. The opus was delicious, with every ingredient playing a supporting role in creating a great lunch. Even the Russian provided a pleasing light sweetness to the endeavor. The American adaptation did not diminish the overall excellence. The fries remained crisp to the end. They had been tossed with salt & pepper in a large aluminum mixing bowl. I could be wrong, but I think that was Joel S. himself handling the cheffing. Consider yourself fortunate if you find Lunchboxxx in a parking lot near you!

So we went to a different brewery last night to try this particular truck out yesterday, but it was sold out of the chicken cutlet (godfather) which was what we were there for. We were pretty bummed so we just didn't get anything. Shout out to the Wissahickon Brewing Company. It is a cute place with a good beer and additional slushie drink list. So we went to another place today where we knew the food truck would be at in Hatboro. We waited about 25/30 minutes for two sandwiches, which to me was kind of long considering there really wasn't any line. We waited in line for 35 minutes or longer to be told they were sold out 40 minutes prior yesterday.. They really should announce when they are all out so you aren't waiting for something they dont have. Well, the sandwiches themselves look delicious they come with fries, which look seasoned. The sandwich unfortunately didn't have a whole lot of taste. I could really only taste the sauce. There was NO robust flavor coming from the chicken or the slice of meat placed on the cutlet. I think the lettuce needed balsamic or some type of drizzle kick on it. The ingredients were fresh and probably of great quality but it didn't make a Wow sandwich for us. I liked the texture of the bread, but I didn't taste any real garlic bread flavor. The fries were seasoned well and tasted more flavorful than the sandwich. We wanted to love this as when reading the description, your mouth waters. Now it wasn't bad but would we get it again probably not.

In a random parking lot in the middle of south jersey, I found the best empanadas on the planet!!! Food so good that I travel and hour each way, drop $100 each time, and am always extremely pleased. The owner isn't just a great guy but he's a mad genius. Things that I would've never thought to put in an empanada, he Severus Snapes it together and I've yet to have a bad one. Some examples: Chicken alfredo, Nashville hot chicken, roasted veggie, Philly cheesesteak, mac and cheese, Dubai chocolate, and Fruity Pebbles are just a few. So pack your pepper spray, and your narcan and prepare yourself for a taste sensation

Each empanada was absolutely incredible!!! it is so hard to decide my favorite. The first one I ate (kids have shellfish allergies) was the Rasta Pasta, oh my, oh my , OH MY!! Please do not change the recipe! Absolutely delicious/perfect!! Did I mention, OH MY!! After basking with my tastebuds on the Rasta Pasta empanada, i returned to the sampling table and tried the Jerk Chicken empanada. SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!! Gave my son a hug for stumbling on a GOLDMINE All the other empanadas AWESOME!!! Working on how to bring these culinary delights to family down south,so we can share the wealth.

I'm not sure how I could be the first person to review these guys but here I am (If you don't trust…read moreme, check the Google reviews as well): So let me just start by saying that this is more than a "French Fry Truck". I didn't know you could make baskets of french fries that are this good! I mean, I'm a normal person; I love french fries ... But they had these amazing themed baskets which become meals in themselves! Fries were crisp and fresh - much better than what you typically get in a restaurant. These are made fresh for you; not in batches for several customers and sitting around for a waiter/ waitress to bring them to various tables. We had the Mediterranean basket which all three of us loved and we also got a smaller order of sweet potato fries with Old Bay and homemade aioli (I assumed this would be a snack and had no idea how much food we were ordering!). Portions were really big ... And so good! We saved some sweet potato fries to (re)roast at home to share it with housemates. Elisa &Eric were also really cool about meeting the needs of our group which had both omnivors and vegans. Thanks so much!

The sauces were okay but these are 100% overly priced fries with decent sauces. 2 stars for offering vegan options that aren't typically vegan with the pesto aioli sauce. Advice would be to invest in your main product and actually make your own fries or search for a better quality fry.

The…read moremenu is pretty standard - tacos, rice bowls, and kimchi fries, as well as dumplings and other types of fries. This might just be personal preference, but I was relieved that most of the dishes weren't overloaded with cheese as Korean fusion so often is. Portions are fairly small for the price but pretty standard for a food truck, and the entrees come with your choice of ribeye, chicken, pork, or tofu (no price difference). This truck is definitely worth a try, though I don't think I'd get it twice. I got a rice bowl with pork ($12), which was white rice, roasted kimchi, pork, and shredded cabbage/carrots. I didn't love the pork but didn't dislike it either - it was pretty soft and very fatty, and I had to throw out a lot of the fattier bits. The marinade taste also wasn't very strong; the dish mainly tasted like kimchi and yum yum sauce (spicy mayo aioli that wasn't very spicy). Visually I think the dish was too monochromatic and would benefit from a greater variety of colors. The kimchi was warm and soft, mostly sour but not very spicy, and it seemed very cooked - I guess this is what roasted kimchi means? They gave me extra kimchi when I asked if the dish could be made more spicy, which was really nice as the kimchi was my favorite part! Tasty but mainly I didn't love the pork. My friend got tacos with chicken ($9), which he liked - he said the chicken was very tender, though he would have liked more red cabbage. It was pretty oily, and after eating the fillings there was a puddle of grease on the tortilla. He did complain that his $2 bottle of water was mostly ice though. The people in the truck were friendly but mildly frazzled. It seemed like something wasn't going efficiently - there were long periods when they weren't taking orders, but when I was finally able to order my food was ready in under a minute.
