a tray of tacos and condiments

Is there a term for the ultimate hidden gem? Not only way off the beaten path, but also hidden inside of a gas station. Recommended by a local, not even Yelp would have brought me here. Off the Grill features a mostly Mexican inspired menu, in the middle of the nowhere USA(sorry Allentown). Everything is made fresh to order, as the wonderfully friendly and exuberant shop owner will gladly make known. The tacos come with high praise. But chicken tacos? Usually not exactly my go to for tacos, but I could have chosen a better time to break from the norm. A heap full of Shredded chicken on a warm tortilla, absolutely bursting with flavor. These tacos are nothing short of magical. How something so simple can be so tasty is beyond me. Easily one of the best tacos I have ever had. As far as unconventional, I think I have found my sweet spot. I tried for so many years to fall in love with the food truck movement, but they are overpriced and overrated(there I said it!) Anything ever recommended in a gas station has been undefeated! Off the Grill is an absolute must if you find yourself in the area.

First, I have to say the staff here is friendly and accommodating. We love their tacos. At work we often have "Taco Fridays" and most of our office staff orders from their lunch menu. They are just off I-195. They are attached to a Valero gas station so look closely so you don't drive by.

My family and I were visiting the nearby farm for our Christmas tree and we were all pretty hungry and there was no food to be had and then I found Woody's. What an amazing find this place is! I only wish that they were closer to me so I could come here a few times a week ! The coffee is really good, the breakfast I had was fantastic, a western omelette with the most amazing home fries I have ever had, and I do not say that like lightly at all, these were wedges that were well seasoned, and then cut in such a way that they had Spaces that flavoring and texture would creep into making each bite slightly crispy and dense, but flavorful and overall pretty light in the mouth, considering that their potato wedges I could not get enough of these and I'm a diabetic. I really chose my carbs well at this meal they were totally worth it. I am absolutely coming back. This place is fantastic and my waitress gosh I wish I remembered her name. She was wonderful. She seemed like a mom type great smile fantastic service. What a warm and lovely reception we had there.

We had the chicken parm sandwich, turkey club, roast beef sandwich, and chicken fingers. Everything was delicious. I'd stop here again the next time we are headed to the shore.

While I…read morewasn't overly impressed with the wines, it was nice scenery and it was a nice way to enjoy a beautiful day. The staff was helpful in selecting wines and there had been food trucks both times. I'm giving this 3 stars now because my friend and I went yesterday and we had a red wine that was suggested. The server described it as a little "zingy". The sample we had of it tasted okay enough for us to get a bottle to share. The issue came when we poured the bottle, it didn't taste the same. It was weirdly fizzy and not enjoyable, however we bought the bottle so we took our time and powered through it. This was not a wise decision. Both my friend and I are experiencing food poisoning symptoms that started a few hours after that wine. Extreme nausea, diarrhea, etc. It's the only thing that we had shared that would cause us both to be sick. I've never had this experience before. I would give that wine negative stars if I could. I'm still giving this place 3 stars because there are other wines and it's a good place to hang out with friends to enjoy the day. They probably need to remove that strange fizzy red wine from their menu though.
