I would've never known this burger shop was tucked away in the heart of New Hope if it weren't for my fiancé's friend. He spoke very highly of the burgers from here. There are no cashiers, but instead several touch screen kiosks laid out for you to place your order. There is a small window where you can visibly see the cooks in the kitchen. I ordered the Veggie Legendary with the Beyond Meat patty. Not kidding when I say the brioche bun makes it better, but overall this is one of the best tasting burgers I've had. It was hard to resist eating the whole thing. The patty had bbq sauce and mushrooms piled high on it. The cheese was melty and the fresh greens oozed out. Fries were hot and crispy. Their table setup is quite interesting - it's like a doctor's office where you remove the disposable paper from the bed after each patient, but in this case, from a table after each customer that dines. We did it ourselves and it was easy. We found seating for 4 pretty quickly, but it may be tricky for groups of 5 or more to find seats together. Cutesy artwork can be found on the walls along with a frame TV that had the Tiny Desk concerts playing. Prices were a little higher than usual, but it is New Hope so that's to be expected. We asked a woman in the kitchen for a to-go box and she provided one right away. The ratings here are accurate! A really great place for burgers and fries.

I absolutely loved our experience at The Burgerly! The ambience was perfect. Clean beautiful wood tables / benches, classy decorations and fun paper to draw on the tabletops. They even had games like Uno! The French fries were huge but still crispy. The Simply Amazing burger was just as it sounded - simply amazing. We loved the fun bottled soda options and the extra sauce variety pack we ordered. The food came out quickly and our server was great. A lovely, easy going experience for a Sunday lunch so I highly recommend giving it a go next time you're in town!

On point again and every time we come come in!!!! The only thing I wish is that steak fries were a little bit crunchy. Don't forget to ask for the Serrano pepper sauce/ranch It's delicious.

Absolutely phenomenal!!! First time in New Hope and chose to come here for my boyfriend's bday lunch as we walked around.... their sign wasn't lying when they said best burger you'll ever have. The prices were very fair, similar to shake shack, and well worth it for the quality and quantity of the food delivered!!! The mango lemonade was just what we needed and the box of fries were more than enough for two... I cannot wait to come back!!!

Hard cold winter weekends are my favorite conditions for visiting New Hope, PA. Known for its history as a Delaware River ferry crossing between this river city and Lambertville, NJ; and more lately as a over touristy Mecca in better weather, it is best served cold and empty when the shops need customers and the restaurant scene is quiet. The Burgerly sits on the southern edge of Main Street serving some of the best comfort food burgers, chicken and hot dogs in the area. I walked in Saturday at dusk after not encountering a soul on the street. There were maybe six people there, either eating at one of the few paper covered tables or sitting on stools patiently awaiting their take out, as I was. I ordered on their touch screen and sat looking out into the heavy gray spreading night accented by the misty glow of Christmas lights. My Standard Burgerly sandwich and Classic Hot Dog with all the fixings were neatly wrapped in thick waxed butcher paper and boxed in about ten minutes. I slipped on my wool gloves and hat and made my way back to the parking lot above and behind the shop. It felt even colder as I slipped on patches of ice on the narrow stairway and dirt path getting to my wheels, but didn't fall. I ate half of each sandwich when I got home. Surprisingly, the hot dog was more impressive than the burger. The "Classic" frankfurter was slice in half and grilled, then loaded with sautéed onion, red cabbage, Dijon and micro mustard greens in a toasted torpedo roll. Great savory bites all the way that snapped a salute. Loved it, but then, I'm a hot dog guy. The burger was a thick puck, perhaps too dense, but piled high with American cheese, sautéed onion, onion aioli sauce and sweet pickle in a toasted brioche bun. It was zoftig requiring a big overbite. This "Standard" would have been a home run if made with hand shaped ground beef rather than so compressed and well done. A mess to eat truly, but worth its toll in napkins. Pro Tip: Musical Accompaniment - "Song for a Winter's Night" by Gordon Lightfoot 3.5 DENSE STARS

    New Hope for Chicken

The Wonderful burger was really good and juicy. The house Canadian bacon definitely put a twist on it. The New Hope Chicken flavor was good but chicken was a bit dry but had a nice panko crust. The fries were good and had a lot of flavor. Surprisingly it was crispy for it being a thick cut fry. There is a self service kiosk to order and food came out quick. It's a cute spot to stop into for lunch if you happen to be exploring New Hope.

We had a great lunch here! Veggie burger was excellent as was the hotdog! Got the box of fries which were delicious!!! Definitely too many for 2 to eat! Got to meet the very friendly owner, as well as a few extra little helpers!!! Super clean restaurant and reasonably priced for new hope! Would definitely recommend!

So delicious, hot dog and burger were cooked to perfection. Don't skip the dam dog even though it's a burger joint. Service was fast and the outdoor seating is small but if it's available it's a cute set up.

5 STARS PLUS! came here on the recommendation who lives in the area and owns a business here as well. I have to say I usually do not eat red meat and do enjoy a good burger and fries as a treat every few months. Everything in moderation. The restaurant has great curb appeal and adds to the beauty of the town of New Hope. From the sign to the plants and flowers in front to the outside seating it invites you in. The first thing you notice when you walk inside is how clean, bright, modern and cozy the place is. It's not you local burger place and they offer a menu that caters to food you would consider as not being that healthy with a variety that would surprise you. A nice variety of Jazz music is playing and their is artwork paying tribute to jazz greats on the wall. Ohh! And the bathroom is spotless even at the end of the work day. The food is top quality, fresh, good size portions and fairly priced. You can "construct or deconstruct" every burger offered. Eliminate the bun, onions, etc. or double the portion, add something to the sandwich or change the bun to gluten free. Bottom line is they cater to the customers palette not just theirs. All the items on the menu have cool names. We had the salmon BLT- A perfect fish burger, Shrimp time to shine, and the seasoned fries. The salmon was fresh and did not taste frozen. The shrimp are Argentinian wild red shrimp and the fries are skin on with pink sea salt. I had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners Zach who was gracious enough to sit and chat for about 15 minutes, share his story, his thoughts on customer service which aligned perfectly with my business acumen, his vision, why he opened this business and what his goals are to provide for his family and 3 young children. I believe in supporting local businesses even if I do not live in that city or town. Today it's so hard to compete with the chain restaurants and on line businesses. I hope I will have the opportunity to meet the chef Marc in the future. What I can see is they both took their prior experience in the restaurant and business world to create a business that is different from most others. I would highly recommend them for a great, different, friendly and enjoyable simple dining experience that you would not be what you would expect for a burger place.

Burgerly New Hope, PA Rating: 5/5 A downtown New Hope favorite! Anything from here is good - literally. They have your everyday regular cheeseburgers to unique delicious combo burgers, chicken sandwiches, and hot dogs. The parmesan fries are always sooo crispy & fire! The pickles are definitely homemade too - pro tip: ask for extra on the side. The milkshakes go crazy too! Chill seating inside & outside! Service is always friendly and quick! Definitely check it out!

Pretty pretty good burgers. Even with the price point. Fries are ala carte. Small dining space with some Outside seats.

Basic Burgerly burger is amazing. Chicken sandwiches are underwhelming. Breading falls off. Sauces overwhelm the burgers. Too much spice. Need more balance.

I came here with my boyfriend and he said it was the best burger he has ever had. The food was all delicious! Service was super fast especially since when we got here there wasn't many people. Got the sauce flight too and it was a great addition. Ambience is chill and I like the little garden seating area outside.

I love the convenience of the kiosk ordering. Service was very quick, and everyone on staff was so kind and helpful. I was blown away by their gluten-free menu. They offer gluten-free buns for burgers and sandwiches, gluten-free crispy chicken, and even gluten-free desserts. I tried the Turtle Pie and the Lemon Raspberry Pie--both were delicious, but the Turtle Pie was truly to die for. This was hands down one of the best burgers and fries I've ever had. Gluten-free bread can really make or break a meal, and this place does it right. The gluten-free bun tasted fresh and delicious, the burger itself was incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the basil aioli was insanely good. I also ordered their specialty Cherry Cream Cola, and it was so good that I had to get a second one. It tasted like a fresh, sweet Cherry Coke and was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. I sat outside and brought my dog, and one of the staff members even came out with a bowl of water for him. Such a thoughtful touch that made us feel so welcome. It being dog-friendly is definitely a huge bonus for me. Amazing food, wonderful service, and one of the best gluten-free experiences I've had. I can't wait to come back!

***2 1/2 stars***…read more Maybe I'm just not into the concept of smash burgers, but I really didn't get the hype with this one. This was a special request from my top-tier chum from the Kingdom of Sussex, who'd been eyeing up this place for months and petitioned to come here after our NJ Bookstore Crawl adventures last weekend (I wanted to go to the only guaranteed high quality eating establishment in the Kingdom, Farmer's Daughter in Newton but was overruled by the home crowd). I'd heard some decent buzz about it myself and am always up for trying something that looks edgier than the average bear in Sussex, so off we went (even though I had a BBQ later in the day that basically had all of the food that was provided at this establishment - that's on me for sure). The entrance was a little hard to figure out; initially we went to the front of the building but there wasn't an obvious entryway and we belatedly figured out it was on the side. Some extra signage in that regard could go a long way, but not the biggest deal. We got inside, and that's what matters. Very clean and spacious, with some Western/patriotic themes; I can always get down with some longhorn displays and whatnot. The business model/ordering system is a little odd in that it almost offers too many methods, if that makes sense. It seemed like you could get normal table service, but there was also a counter where I think you could place a normal order, or a kiosk at the front to do so, OR a QR code at the table. Lot going on, and ambivalent on what to make of it overall - I guess it's better to have more options in theory, but I thought it was unnecessarily chaotic/confusing. We opted for the scanning of the QR code at the table, which was fine. My chum didn't realize you could tilt the QR display to get a better angle for your phone, but I'm certainly not going to blame Burger and Butcher for that 10 seconds of chaos. By far our biggest issue was the price point. Neither one of us is averse to spending money when the situation arises, but this was pretty egregious to the point where it really tainted the whole experience. We both got a burger and split an order of fries. That was the meal. Now, full disclosure, we got the "better" burger, the Waygu, which was 4 ounces and $15. Not worth it. I think part of is the smash burger of it all, but I definitely didn't notice the allegedly higher quality cattle involved, and I got it plain so no condiments to distract the palate from the essence of the bovine. I would 100% just go for the cheaper burger here, which is $10. The accompanying fries were fine (some were squishier than others, and those found their way closer to my chum for her consumption) but cost a separate $8. It reminded me of Zinburger, which probably isn't around anymore because they constantly gauged you with additional costs for sides like this. And THIS was wild - if you wanted ketchup? No problem. If you wanted literally any other sauce featured on the menu, just a little container of it? At least an extra $2. At a certain point, it's less about the price and more about the principle. And again - nothing we had was significantly better than what you'd get at Five Guys or Smashburger and for the price it should be. The staff was perfectly nice and since this is basically higher-end fast food, our meals came within five or 10 minutes. Fine on that front. But if I want to spend $30 for a burger and side (which is what this came down to, including tip)? I'm just going to go to a nicer, sit-down restaurant with more options and better food. Disappointing and I hope they really reconsider the pricing structure because in this inflationary environment, you're alienating potential customers before they even get to sample the animals.

The food is expensive for what you get, as everything is a la carte which adds up the total. It definitely feels Cobble Hill all the way through. I visited for lunch during Restaurant Week, which I enjoyed because of its close proximity to the corporate hub in Center City where I work and for its solid menu. I was seated quickly at a high-top for my noon reservation. The restaurant is much larger inside than it looks, split in half with the left providing an upscale bar aesthetic while the right presents a quieter, modern lounge feel. (It seemed like service staff was directing those with previously-booked OpenTable RSVPs to the lounge side.) Service was great, as my waitress continuously checked in during my meal even as more customers arrived throughout the lunch period. I appreciated being offered to add fries on my burger order, as Village Whiskey didn't have it automatically added on the RW menu. The only drawback was she forgot to ask how I wanted my burger cooked, but it came out medium rare which is the way I eat it regardless. I trust that's how they default, which is a good sign. The Food Breakdown: Deviled Eggs (4/5) - Classic, solid, and a good starter. I honestly selected it since the other appetizer options didn't really appeal to me, but nothing spectacular or negative about it. Four comes with each order. All-American Burger (5/5) - Fantastic. I'm not a pickle enjoyer, but the acidity just blended into each juicy bite. The jam had a slight kick, and you can taste the fattiness within the double Wagyu smash patties. High-quality all around and a solid portion size. Duck Fat Fries (4/5) - They were well-seasoned, and each order comes with a small side of ketchup. Granted I didn't ask, but I almost wish they offered a spicy mayo instead because it would complement the crunchiness better. Overall, the food quality and taste were superb. My only caveat was the price, knowing that $35 after tax and gratuity for lunch (without an additional drink) is costly. I wouldn't be able to come everyday, but it certainly has my vote for sharing with others the destination that has an immaculate burger.
