We are really happy we found Under the Moon! Adorable atmosphere with great indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a decent sized bar. We started with the Bao Buns, which is highly recommend. I ordered the tapas tower, which is 3 tapas, and I chose the Bacon Wrapped Dates, the Tostones with Ropa Vieja, and the Patatas Bravas. The bacon wrapped dates were some of the best I've ever had--definitely get them! The Ropa Vieja was good, but it's not something I'd order again. My husband really enjoyed his Udon Noodle bowl. Our waitress was friendly and polite. We will definitely be back!

Edwin was just fantastic! 10/10 Service He Gives. Amazing Server. He's makes everything like not rushed and just like heres your service. Makes it feel enjoyable, food tastes 10/10 to the drinks to tapas tower and chicken sandwich! Relaxing ambiance nothing to crazy nice place for a date!

Everything we had was sooo good. We shared a soup of the da which was parsnip. Very tasty! We asked our sever what her fave sandwich was and she said the buttermilk chicken. It did not disappoint. I came here with a coupon and will definitely be back and pay full price. The place is so cute and the food was great!

Wow! Looking for new places and saw this on Yelp! Decided that we'd head over for a Thursday evening dinner. Quaint, Cozy were our first thoughts stepping in where we were greeted and sat immediately. Ashley, our server. Was up on all the menu items and we decided on crispy Brussels sprouts to start. I had a beer and my wife a wine as we decided on what to have. After some debate, my wife chose the maple salmon and I took Ashleigh's review to heart and got the burger. A fantastic burger topped with brisket and American cheddar. The Salmon was seasoned perfectly as sometimes the maple can result in too sweet a flavor, but this was perfect. My burger came medium as ordered and was truly a great burger experience. As we finished I was already thinking about what I was going to get on my next visit. We ordered a 20 layer crepe dessert to go and slit it later after we were home. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Cute place for a quick bite to eat! The outdoor patio is gorgeous and there's live music out front when we went. The service was quick and the staff was attentive. My cuban sandwich was a tad dry but I got over it. The vegan empanadas were amazing! Flavorful. I would definitely come back for the tapas and drinks. Plus its just aesthetically a very beautiful place to be.

My husband and I recently dined at under the moon in Lambertsville, NJ and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were promptly seated outside on a surprisingly warm October afternoon. The outdoor setting was lovely though the unexpected heat made us grateful for the attentive service that kept us comfortable. Our server Emma, was an absolute highlight. Her enthusiasm and care truly elevated the experience. For drinks my husband ordered the Bloody Mary, which he found perfectly spiced and refreshing, while I opted for a decaf Espresso martini. The food was impressive My husband's dirty taco was bursting with flavor. I had the steak and eggs, the steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Both entrées were delicious. Despite the warm weather the experience was well worth it, thanks to the stellar service and outstanding food. Highly recommend!

I will caveat this by saying that we came on Valentine's Day but this place was meh. The servers were very nice but service was kind of chaotic. We got the bone in rib eye which was okay and the truffle parmesan fries which were below average.

Under the Moon has a really epic happy hour menu! Went with two friends and we all ordered food and drinks off it. Everything was absolutely delicious and we had a great bartender, too!

This is such a cute brunch place! We love the decor and one of the bathrooms was 10/10 creative and CUTE. Our waitress was very nice and very thoughtful. We ordered the deviled eggs , wings, empanadas, kids chicken tenders, and the tapas tower. For the tapas we had the two steaks, pork belly and short ribs. My favorite was the tapas! It was so good!!! Our three selections were so good I cannot decide which was my favorite out of the three. We visited this town just for this cafe experience. Worth the travel.

Under the Moon is a great spot in the heart of Lambertville. The entrance has a cool VW bus and beautiful garden full of plants and flowers. It's really beautiful. There is a side walk sign that welcomes dogs and lists special events including local night specials. There is also a really nice ramp should anyone need it. Indoor and outdoor seating were offered, we opted for outdoor on their covered porch. Bella was our server and she is so good at her job! She told us about the owners story and how he has grown his business and developed a huge following for his famous empanadas. She gave us some tapas selections and we took all of them! Drinks arrived in mason glasses that I loved. The tapas are $40 for three. The portions are on the smaller side. You can add a forth if you'd like too for an uncharge. Plates are presented nicely on a tower, along with some crostini's on the side. We loved the bacon wrapped dates! If you like blue cheese try these! They were our favorite. The Cazuela De Queso was a goat cheese dip with caramelized onions. It was good, but not as good as the dates. I would recommend skipping the Tostones Con Ropa Vieja. We both found the meat delicious but stringy and difficult to chew. I will definitely come back to Under the Moon. When I do I'm definitely trying the empanadas or coming for locals night. Their $30 three course meal on Wednesdays is a sweet deal!Wednesday's are a great night in Lambertville because it's locals night. Many businesses offer specials like this one to bring in the locals, but everyone gets to enjoy it!

Great food, super cute location, very slow service. Came here with a friend before we hit the town to do some shopping and stopped in to get some drinks and food. I gave their pickle martini a try and it just was not for me. I let our waitress know and she was nice enough to exchange it for a bloody mary, which was perfect. The right amount of spicy without it being too much, if you know what I mean. We started out with the saffron mussels which were super delicious. The broth was so good that we wanted more bread to sop it up with. We asked our waitress, but were still waiting on it about 20 minutes later. We asked her again, she had forgotten to put it in. The broth was pretty cold by the time we got bread, but still tasty. I ordered the dirty tacos which come with marinated flank steak. They were absolutely huge, and even though it was just three tacos I could not finish that last one. Overall, not a bad spot, especially if you're a patient person who doesn't mind waiting on things.

Beautiful ambiance and unbeatable service, Under the Moon Cafe really delivers! We started with the Szechuan wings, followed by the fried chicken sandwich and burger. The fried chicken sandwich is absolutely tasty and is accompanied by truffle fries. Enjoyed a delicious lunch here while exploring the beautiful town of Lambertville. Definitely worth checking this place out!

    Veggie empanadas
    Patricia M.

This place is not quite what I expected. I thought it was going to be a small cafe, but it's got a lot of seating indoors and outdoors, as well as an indoor bar. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and sat at the bar. We started with the veggie empanadas and this was delicious. It was also our favorite thing that we had here. I got the black bean burger which was decent. It was a bit dry, but still tasty. My date got the caprese sandwich and he enjoyed it. The French fries on the side were unique and yummy. They had Parmesan on them. The bartenders were friendly and diligent. However, there appeared to be tension between management and the staff. It was palpable.

I am vegetarian, so here are my thoughts on the new items. Ensalade Verde: is the absolute best salad in the city. in the country even. absolute must get. it's big, however me and my sister still refuse to split it. definitely shareable though if you're not as greedy. Patatas Bravas: slightly different iteration than their past one. I think it's actually better. you get more potato's, more sauce, and the sauce just tastes slightly better but who knows. always ordered when we go Brussels Catalana: technically there is blue cheese in this, however, I am a certified blue cheese hater and I had no idea. so don't be turned off by that. first time having this dish and it was solid. good portion, well coated, right texture. will get again Pimientos De Pardon: shishito peppers were good, decent amount of them. I think everyone had three and we had 4 people. wouldn't get again just because there are other things more worth it but still great. Unknown Cauliflower dish: i'm not seeing it on the menu, so maybe it was just removed, but it was essentially a cauliflower gratin dish. I wouldn't get again. it was good, but lacked salt and was basically just a cauliflower in some heavy cream with a tiny amount of bread crumbs. Valenciana Paella: this has meat in it obviously, but I did eat around the pieces. if you're vegetarian and don't mind your food touching the meat, it's very easy to pick around. all the meat pieces are medium sized. This was very good, the rice was amazing, the watercress was so good. presentation was great. worth the time and money especially if you eat meat Ganache de Chocolate: pretty good. honestly interested in trying the rice pudding next. or just ordering another patatas bravas for dessert. shareable between two people. Passion fruit mocktail: MUST GET for all non drinkers! expensive? yes. worth it? yes. taste is great and it's also a nice thing to have if you're with others who drink and don't want to be left out. it's set up just like an alcoholic drink would be.

However I found it to be unsuitable to dining with a large group due to it being very loud and crowded. I'd recommend the tasting set if you want to be full when you leave without breaking the bank. --- I dined at Amada on Friday night with a party of 8. Typical of a Friday night in Philly, Amada was packed. It was incredibly loud, which meant you couldn't hear anyone past those seated directly next to you. Our server, Alexander, was excellent. Since the whole restaurant was fully seated, service was a little slow (2 hours for our meal-not tasting menu), but his attitude and friendliness were exceptional. The tapas (small bites) are meant to be shared, meaning it will come out at different times if you all order individually. The staff plated nuts separately so that we could still share while being mindful of our party's dietary restriction. We ordered numerous tapas try for the table: (1) chorizo Bilbao, (2) piquillos (crab-stuffed peppers), (3) tortilla española (Spanish omelette), (4) espãrragos blancos (asparagus), (5) pimientos de padrõn (shishito peppers), (6) setas (mushrooms), (7) torreznos (crispy pork belly), and (8) chicken skewers. Overall, everything came out smaller than we expected for the price. (Not too upset since it's a $$$/$$$$ restaurant.) The flavor of every dish was tasty, if not all a bit salty. The standouts for us were the: (2) piquillos, (3) tortilla española, and (8) chicken skewers. I really enjoyed the crab filling of the piquillos, the balance of flavors in the tortilla, and the juiciness of the chicken. In the end, we racked up quite a bill and were still hungry afterwards. Personally, Amada is out my price range, but everything was quite flavorful. For others, I would recommend dining at Amada with smaller parties (6 or less) to accommodate the loud ambiance. Amada is definitely better suited for a romantic date spot or small gathering. For better value, the tasting set may make more sense.

With the same owner and executive chef behind the beloved Nonna Sulina's, it came as no surprise that every dish was thoughtfully prepared. We started with the fried calamari and Uncle Paulie's Meatballs. The calamari was crisp and well-seasoned, served with marinara and sweet chili aioli, and the meatballs were tender and flavorful. For our entrees, two of us ordered the chicken parmigiana, and one got the short rib ravioli amaretto. Since spaghetti isn't offered, I paired my chicken parm with rigatoni, while my friend opted for angel hair. Both dishes were excellent! I ordered the Grilled Chicken Wrap, which was excellent, packed with chicken and very filling. I ended up taking half home because it was both generous and delicious. The side salad was also surprisingly good. We ended up returning later for happy hour, which takes place in the room to the right of the hostess stand. I highly recommend stopping by for drinks and bites if you're in the mood for classic cocktails and solid food. Happy hour is first come, first served and limited to the bar only (around 15 seats total). We arrived right when it started, and when we left about 40 minutes later, the bar was about half full. I'd definitely come back to try their dinner or to enjoy their happy hour again.

There was a young lady sitting in the corner in the phone telling us that there were no seats if we didn't have a reservation. Not the most polite but whatever. We went back to the bar and got a table. Why are bar tables always so sticky?! Anyhoo, we just missed the Happy Jour menu but it was only a $1-2 discount (except for the burger: $4). Service was pleasant and attentive. The food was overpriced for sitting in a bar. $30 for a bowl of ramen! (I don't know how it tastes but it's $17 across the street.) $22 for a burger and fries! $10 for two little bao with a single shrimp in each! Ok, that's not too bad since Bao is generally overpriced for some reason but I could have gotten more than one shrimp. Unfortunately, the price did not reflect the quality. My friend who got the ramen said it was in the bottom 25% he's ever had. My burger was pretty good but the bun was toasted and brittle and made an unnecessary mess. The fries--personal preference--I don't like skinny fries. As for the bao, the shrimp was too salty. I liked the finishing salt but the flavoring salt was too heavy. Also, it was drizzled with aioli and I couldn't pick it up and eat it like the sandwich it was. Overall, a disappointment. Mediocre food and an elevated price for no reason.

Only one entry for the salad. This salad had shrimp which I personally don't eat, so I asked that they give my shrimp to my girlfriend on her salad. When the salad came out, no shrimp. When I asked why she was not given my shrimp, the owner came to me and said that I ordered the vegetarian salad, not an option on the menu by the way. So I said well now I'd want my shrimp can you bring it to me and he said that's not what I ordered. So for the price of three shrimp, I already knew I would never go back there. $110 per person I think they can afford three shrimp. Food was okay, not stellar but we did leave hungry and for that price in Doylestown that shouldn't happen. Had one shot which was pretty expensive, would have drank more but after the shrimp incident we decided not to spend another dollar. I won't be returning. They don't seem to understand customer service at this restaurant. If you do decide to go in the future, make sure you're careful about any live entertainment. We were under the impression that we would be able to stay for the show that was happening at 6:30 but since we had an early reservation we were told we could not stay. When we made the reservation there was an option to check that we wanted to attend this and we were able to make that check on the software. Bottom line we spend our Valentine's Day angry about shrimp and disappointed we couldn't see a show we were expecting.
