    Breakfast platter

This place is definitely tucked away in the plaza. We had to call to find it but once we did it was well worth it. You felt like you were at a relatives home the way everything was decorated and how the food was prepared. This is CASH or Venmo only!! So be mindful of that. Service was great. Frank cooked and delivered our food. Coffee is self served in random designed coffee mugs. I ordered a platter that came with 3 eggs, choice of meat, potatoes and a pancake. The Pancakes are a must! They are light and fluffy. Platter was large enough that I brought food home. Thank you to fellow yelpers who recommended this little spot!!

Found this place thanks to Yelp reviews & it happened to be the closest breakfast place to my hotel the New Hope Inn & Suites. It's tucked away in a confusingly designed Logan Square shopping center, and I couldn't find the front entrance so I went in the back. Since it was early on a Monday I'm guessing they were finishing stocking & cleaning from the weekend because boxes were on tables, a cleaning closet was open & garbage was piled by the back entrance. That may have been a deterrent to some people. However, I was seated right away, and there were only two other patrons in the small restaurant. I had two iced coffees, and I had two eggs with home fries and sourdough toast, and a side of corn beef hash. Everything came out pretty quickly, and I enjoyed my breakfast. I liked that the home fries had some sweet potatoes in them. It wasn't anything outstanding, but it was good. Service was friendly. And they also do have outdoor seating with umbrella tables. They also have some homemade desserts. They offer a breakfast and a lunch menu and they close at 2 PM. My total was $17.95 + tip, but that's probably cheaper than breakfast in New Hope or Lambertville.

Two eggs over easy, bacon and home fries

Was in town for a C&C and found this great breakfast place close by. Super friendly owner and staff. We both had the same -two eggs over easy, bacon, home fries, and sourdough toast. It was a solid breakfast at a reasonable price with great service. Can't ask for anything more. Thanks

This time, we skipped my usual Wawa run (the Cuban is still elite) and headed to Karla's Restaurant--and it delivered. Set in a charming old house, each room feels intimate and unique. We snagged a patio table and caught the sunset--honestly, it was a little magical. We started with cocktails (my Sidecar was spot-on), then shared: * Caesar salad * Calamari For the entrée, we split the fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw--crispy, flavorful, and more than enough food. And dessert? Carrot cake. Absolutely delicious--moist, perfectly spiced, and finished with that classic cream cheese frosting. A must-order. Service was fun and personable (we even had a doppelgänger moment with our server--still laughing about that). A few notes: * Bathrooms are upstairs via narrow stairs (old-house charm) * Cozy, room-by-room layout * Prices are very fair Bottom line: Great food, great vibe, and a quintessential New Hope dining experience. I'll definitely be back--next time for brunch. Life's short. Eat well.

The salad was the standout, though the omelette was pretty decent as well. I didn't care much for the sandwich, though my mom really enjoyed it -- I thought there was too much breading on the crab cake and not enough meat, which made it soggy and mushy. The espresso martini was delish, and a very generous pour, as they give you a little carafe to refill your glass. Our server was an expert: attentive without pestering. He also offered to split everything for us in the kitchen, which was a classy touch. It's a very cute spot with tables in the window to watch the passersby. On a cooler day, it would be lovely to sit at the outdoor tables for a view of the creek that runs along the exterior. It's also right by the bridge over to New Hope, and there's valet parking, $5 for 3 hours payable electronically.

I also happen to be here for my Birthday. Called ahead a few days in advance that I'd like to come celebrate with a large group. Probably 20 people or so. Understood the kitchen would be closed when I got there but was assured by the hostess the bar would be open and take care of us. Fast forward to the day. Even tried to call ahead to double check we were still on for the evening. No answer. Called several times. Went to voice mail. Showed up. Not only was the woman I spoke to not there (like she said she would be to accommodate the party) no one on staff knew we were coming. We were told would could have one of the circular tables by the bar for our group (that seats 4 people). When the server told us the bar was still open the bar tender said she would only serve us one round and had to close. Totally missed opportunity for the staff to make money. Also terrible service in regard to trying to foster a community where people a certain large theatrical establishment down the street are looking to come and unwind. Had a great time here the last time I was here but they failed miserably. Won't recommend this place to anyone in the community and will make sure future people who come to work in this town don't waste their time trying to go here. Went to Old Stone down the road. Nicer vibe. Staff treated us well and it's closer to the main part of town as well. If I could give zero stars I would.

So we drove there but were not sure it was open. It was. Just dark. And some things on the menu were not available. But everyone was super nice and they brought us a menu that had what they offer in a blackout. With the flashlights we looked over the menu. They had probably about 8 customers not including the 2 of us. So they were trying to accommodate. I got the watermelon tomato gazpacho and the chick pea caesar salad. Both were very good. On the gazpacho I wish there was a bit more watermelon flavor and chunks. The salad was good. Very hearty. My friend got the mushroom po boy. She liked it as well. The server was very nice and attentive. The lights eventually came back on about 3/4 the way through our meal. So now we could see. The place is cute and the fans were welcome on a humid evening. You have to pay to park. And the restaurant is all the way down on the right. The area is very cute and kinda touristy. The only down side besides paying to park are the prices. Just because it's vegan doesn't mean it's cheap. It's not. Prices are higher. Just for my soup and salad my dinner was $28. I guess that could be standard but I got soup and a salad. But it was good. I would go back, just not often. Overall good experience in a challenging evening with the blackout.
