I love everything about this place. The food is EXCELLENT and they make a damn good sandwich. I stopped in here 3x in one week while staying nearby and ordered a variety of things. First off, the service by Emily was exceptional. She greeted us with a smile each time and was so kind and patient all while offering up helpful suggestions. We ordered a bunch of items and some of the favorites were the Italian supreme sandwich, chicken Caesar wrap, NJ sloppy Joe, rice balls & Calabrian Chicken Cutlet (had as both a wrap and sandwich and both were amazing - love when a sandwich is served on semolina). I LOVE how the chicken cutlets are crispy and fresh unlike a lot of other places that heat up old cutlets and have that soft, rubbery texture. These were PERFECT. I also ordered the oolong iced tea with lavender 2x and loved it. There's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, but this place fills up (and for good reason). It's part deli / part Italian specialty market and such a lovely addition to the beautiful Stockton area. 10/10 in my book and will absolutely be back. read more

The Covered Bridge Café in Stockton is a solid place to stop by if you're looking for good food and friendly service. It's a small shop, but they've got everything from imported Italian goods you can take home to a menu full of fresh sides and sandwiches. I had the chicken cutlet sandwich, and it was honestly amazing -- crispy, flavorful, and just really well made. The staff were super nice, and there's seating available if you want to eat there. The food is amazing haven't been there in a while but I know the service is good and it very cozy.

This was a great find. Not too far from Lambertville, New Hope and Stockton is this quiet deli with great food. Plenty of seating inside and out. The first indication that this was going to be a good spot was the sauce cans of Bianco diNapoli on the shelves (IYKYK). There were three of us and we ordered a Greek wrap, chicken Caesar wrap and the Bianca sandwich. After placing our order, I noticed the prepared eggplant Parm with tomato and onions and couldn't resist ordering that too. Each one was so good but the homemade pesto on the Bianca made it my favorite. The quality of the ingredients really stands out, like the real chicken cutlet in the Caesar wrap. I wouldn't be surprised if the tomatoes and basil were grown in the garden out back they were so fresh. You really can tell they take pride in everything they prepare. If you're looking for authentic homemade food and a deli that does it right, this is definitely the place to try. They also have a really nice coffee bar and have prepared food to go. I have been craving real deli food made with great ingredients and care (not that cheap processed stuff). I thought we would have to drive at least an hour to get what we want. No, we don't. Last week we tried Covered Bridge which is 15 minutes from of us and were wowed. We have been back twice including today. Why? The quality of every single ingredient, the selection which includes Italian influenced selections to Jewish deli style (think homemade turkey sliced thin plus russian and coleslaw with cheese or roast beef if you want in on nice rye), salads and vegetarian selections. Plus they have a host a yummy takeout options. Beyond the food: I noted the the cleanliness of the place and the service is perfection: warm, friendly, accommodating. read more

We have been going there for breakfast. Selections are good and prices are decent. It is always quiet, (last table in the back is occupied by people selling insurance or money management to clients) Do they eat? We are overall pleased until yesterday (we were there for lunch on Wednesday). I had their Italian hoagie sandwich. Before I was finished, petite young staff person rushed in took my unfinished sandwich and threw in the garbage (I think she misunderstood that I needed a box) So look out for this person if she is there that day. Really cute place and everything we've tried is delicious! We came before the new owners and loved it before but are so impressed with the changes they've made. It really feels like they upped the quality on their menu and goods sold. My kids said everything was their favorite, and we enjoyed the relaxing rocking chairs out front. Stopped in last week on our way from PA to Flemington. Ordered sandwiches (Greek wrap for my wife, ham and cheese on Kaiser roll for me) - both were large and delicious and fairly priced. We also had seen the Valentine's Dinner take out special and ordered that, too. It was amazing - four courses including app, entree, salad and dessert - $39 for two. Very nice selections for app and entree, plenty of food (enough that we had the meal twice!) and all delicious. The space is clean and attractive, and there's parking right in front. This was our first experience with Covered Bridge, but it certainly will not be our last! read more

Some friends of mine recommended this place as a good midway stopping point for a bike ride and it was worth it. The donuts alone are worth the trip, they were fresh and delicious. I split a turkey sandwich with my husband and it was good with a generous amount of turkey. They have a beautiful courtyard out back and the place was clean. Definitely worth a stop. A very meh kinda place . I've tried the breakfast burrito ( super dry pork) a very messy egg sandwich on a hamburger bun ( really needs a keiser roll to hold up to all that grease) buttermilk biscuits that were dry and hard and the pastries all tasted like they had been refrigerated then put back out the next day . Lunch was a bit better ... the smash burger was fine , the chicken sandwich was way to heavy on batter vs chicken ratio . It seems all the sandwiches are served on these seaded hamburger buns and they all have the same "house" sauce that makes everything taste exactly the same . The Arnold Palmer drinks were fantastic though . Overall this cafe seems to have a challenging time with consistency of food and for the price I think larger and better prepared food would be warranted . A "market " offering random various produce and prepared foods are on display further confusing us if this a cafe or a market or something else ????? The staff however is very nice . read more
