Ham and egg sandwich with LTM
    Kathleen Z.

We see a continuing trend in excellent food here at Cafe Flore. Today we went for lunch. I had the porkquette sandwich. I joked with the chef that since I'm from Philadelphia, I know my roast pork. It was succulent and perfectly seasoned. Instead of spinach, they used arugula; and personally I think the arugula was a better choice. I would have preferred just a tad more pork on the sandwich. My partner had the pastrami Reuben and it was grilled. I never saw him eat a sandwich so quickly. He did give me a bite and it was wonderful.

Opens at 6 am! Great prices on breakfast sandwiches. Friendly counter service. Freshly made on open grill.

First of all this is a really cute place. More of a sandwich type food with some other options like bagels and muffins etc. My food was delicious and the people in the place are very nice. I would have given it a 5 star if they had free coffee refills. It is a small investment to offer a second cup of coffee IMO. Worth checking them out and supporting local community.

The meatless Cuban... only 11 dollars Ripoff

Ordered a Cuban... take a look at the pic. It was all bread. Expensive and lame. I'll never be back

This is a cute little cafe which is perfect for stopping to pick up breakfast sandwiches or lunch sandwiches to go. If you do decide to stay however, the interior is small but very bright and clean! There are only a few 2 seater tables to be had inside. My pork roll egg and cheese on a roll was cooked exactly how I like it - not too well done and the right amount of meat. It came out quickly in a basket lined with black and white checkered paper which was a nice touch. The staff were all very friendly. If I'm in the area and find myself craving a sandwich, I'll definitely consider stopping here again.

    Cubans sandwich.

Cubans sandwich was really good. Can't wait to go back and try other sandwiches and their baked goods! Owner operated establishment . Best of luck and success.

Pork roll, egg and cheese. A cup of cafe latte, which was surprisingly rich that I can humbly judge as a coffee aficionado.

This café under new ownership has redefined its ambiance, character and quality of both food and service. It has ample parking space, which it uses as a showcase selling beautiful potted flowers. I come here to have early breakfast as it opens early at 6;00 am, making it accessible to commuters in all walks of trade. Friendly environment.

Delicious, fresh food. Prices are a bit aggressive but I still go regularly as the Cuban sandwich is the best in the area.

Not the best for an eat in occasion as there are only a few small tables, but spectacular for take out.

I was a loyal customer for over SIX YEARS, stopping in several times a week. While the staff seemed…read moreto change constantly, one thing never did--the owner's rude, dismissive attitude. After my most recent experience, I'll never be back. I called in an order for a long-roll turkey sandwich that I was planning to split with my uncle, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. The young employee who answered the phone struggled to repeat my order back to me, so I made sure to clearly state that I wanted it on a long roll. When I got home--25 MINUTES AWAY--I discovered the sandwich had been made on a small round roll instead. Since we were splitting it, there was a huge difference between a 12-inch long roll and a small round roll. I immediately called the deli, explained the mistake, and the woman who answered (who I had spoken with many times before) apologized and told me they would take care of it by giving me a discount the next time I came in. Two days later, after taking my uncle to one of his cancer treatments, I stopped in expecting them to honor what I had been told. Instead, the owner (who identified himself as "Ed") approached me with an attitude and immediately said, "What are you looking for? It's the same price for a long roll or a short roll. I run a business here, and there's nothing I'm going to do about it." I explained that it wasn't about the money. I even showed him pictures of the sandwich and reminded him that I had been a loyal customer for years. He interrupted me, saying his employee claimed I ordered a short roll and repeated that he wasn't doing anything because he "runs a business." He then added, "You come in here all the time, but I have a lot of loyal customers." When I explained that I had called immediately after getting home because I live 25 minutes away, I was told that if I had brought the sandwich back, they would have corrected it. That wasn't a realistic option. I wasn't about to leave my uncle, who is battling cancer, and drive 50 minutes round trip because their employee made the sandwich incorrectly. Any business that genuinely values its customers would understand that and make a reasonable effort to fix the mistake the next time I came in--especially after one of their own employees had already promised they would. Instead, the owner dismissed the entire situation and treated me like I was asking for something unreasonable. This was never about trying to get something for free. I simply expected the business to stand behind its mistake. Even replacing the bread or honoring what I had been promised would have been enough. Instead, I was spoken to with disrespect, talked down to, and treated like my years of loyalty meant absolutely nothing. At the end of the conversation, I told the owner, "You just lost a loyal customer, and I don't appreciate the way you're talking to me." His response was simply, "Well, that's too bad." That one statement summed up exactly how he feels about the people who support his business. After spending thousands of dollars there over the past six years, I was shocked by how I was treated over something so simple. The owner's attitude alone was enough to lose my business. Looking back, convenience was really the only reason I kept going there. The chips are often stale from sitting out all day, and on multiple occasions I've personally seen employees handling food without gloves. I overlooked those things because the location was convenient, but after the way I was treated, I have absolutely no reason to return. He didn't just lose one loyal customer. After sharing this experience with several friends who also frequented this deli, many of them said they only went there because it was convenient as well and have decided they'll be taking their business elsewhere. SIX YEARS OF LOYALTY WASN'T WORTH CORRECTING ONE SIMPLE MISTAKE. THAT TELLS YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HOW THIS BUSINESS VALUES ITS CUSTOMERS. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT APPRECIATES THE PEOPLE WHO KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS.

I stopped into TJ's Deli & Grill for lunch early in the afternoon while I was in the area…read more It was very quiet when I arrived, with only one other customer inside, so ordering was quick and the food came out without much of a wait. I went with a cheeseburger topped with lettuce, tomato, and sliced red onion, along with a side of curly fries and a bottle of Gold Peak iced tea from the refrigerator. The burger was cooked medium well, as I asked, and had good flavor. The toppings were fresh and balanced things out nicely. The curly fries were very similar to A&W style, crispy with a good seasoning. The inside is your typical deli setup. Nothing fancy, but clean and functional. Overall, a solid, no-frills lunch spot. If you're in the area and want something quick and straightforward, it gets the job done.

Several menus to choose from there is bound to be something to pique your taste buds interest. Order at the counter to go or eat in. Smiles behind the counter are eager to answer any questions you may have and the promptly prepare your food while you wait. A wide variety of coffees and teas for self service along with sugars creamers and the like. We opted for a wrap special that includes mushroom, spinach, ham and tomato and the infamous belly buster sandwich. Both worth way more than their meager price tags. Flavorful and filling 2 hot drinks. Two sandwiches and a side of bacon out the door at $21.00 not too bad. TJ's is definitely not a full service restaurant nor does it claim to be. A fast food option that's sure to satisfy. Will we trek the hour to revisit, most likely not but if local we would surly add it to our list of go to spots.
