If I could do zero stars I would. I ordered a sandwich today for delivery through Doordash at 4:00 PM with expected delivery at 4:45 PM. Just Subs listed hours for today were until 6:00PM tonight. At 5:00PM I got a message from Doordash that delivery would be delayed. At 5:20 I contacted the Doordash delivery guy and he was at Just Subs and they were closed and no one was to be found. Consistently good food. Provisions are fresh and staff is friendly. They slice the meat thin making it very tasty. Hot subs will not disappoint. It's about as bare bone of a sub joint as you could imagine. I've been a customer for about 10 years. The product is pretty average, nothing special. The there was last Sunday about 2:00pm we walked into an empty restaurant and we're promptly ignored like we didn't exist. There was a girl doing something in and out of the "kitchen" aka microwave area. That finally asked us what we wanted, then disappeared. Some time later a young curly haired kid showed up and asked the same question. He looked like he just woke up and made it very obvious that we were an inconvenience with his miserable attitude. Of course I had to repeat my order once again while he sliced the meat and threw it onto the bread. Yes he did get my order wrong, then got in my face stating that he repeated my order back to me which was a complete lie even my wife commented to him that he was wrong. I won't tolerate some kid with a shitty attitude and smart mouth getting in my face as a paying customer. So we both left and will never return as long as that little turd is employed there. read more

It always bothered me that they do not take credit cards, especially when I want to take a business client for a quick meal or have Catering for my office. We love this place for subs - hot and cold. We stop here at least twice a month. The subs are awesome - bread makes it. !! I also like their salads, but macaroni is my favorite. The owners/workers are all very nice and accommodating. There are usually lines, but they have it down to a tee and move everyone along quickly. I've also ordered a 3 foot sub for a party and it got rave reviews. The other nice things about Just Subs is it's very reasonably priced. Overall a great, classic NJ sub. Good bread, good amount of cold cuts, good toppings, constructed correctly, good price. Their real shortcoming is the quality of the meats. You can get by with whatever on an Italian but for a turkey sub you need good turkey, not the squishy white butter ball type stuff. Otherwise a great sub shop. They are basically the same exact thing as Tastee Subs if you've even been to one of them. read more
