We had already eaten but wanted to stop in for coffee and pastries. We had the perfect frappes with galaktoboureko and raveni. We also picked up some yummy koulourakia for home. I enjoyed the mural of a yiayia with Greek cities behind her. The Greek music was a nice touch to make it feel like Greece. They also sell Greek products like macaroni, tea, coffee, honey and beverages.

Love going here, not just for the food but for their little grocery section also. The people that work there are delightful. I love the bean soup, it's so filling. Their Greek salad is one of the best I've ever had. My go to place for gyro's, the meat is always fresh and tender, pita always warm & delicious. I've also tried their Moussaka and Spanakopita, which were both delicious. Family has eaten their falafel, vegetable gyro & shrimp & octopus. Everyone has enjoyed everything. I heard that they serve breakfast but I have never tried. Their dining area is very cute, servers are lovely, haven't been in a while but Effie was the best

This is a great spot if you're looking for authentic Greek food that is fresh, delicious, and served in generous portions. We ordered the gyro platter and chicken souvlaki platter and were amazed at how much meat and pita came with the dishes. We definitely needed more tzatziki, so be sure to ask for extra. We also ordered their cheese platter, which also boasted a big portion. We're still eating cheese two days later! We ordered takeout so I can't comment on the service and dining experience. I will say the dining room was cozy and the woman who handed me my order was warm and welcoming. We plan on stopping in for a proper dinner soon!

This is a cute little sit down restaurant. We normally eat in, but this time we did take out. Food was tasty as always and the owner there is very nice. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the place is a little pricey (e.g. we ordered two apps... the total was around $40). However, the portions were great and there are other apps that are cheaper. I just wish they had small portion options for some of their food / lunch menu options so I could get less food but for more of an affordable price.

OK but not first choice. Spanakopita was good and salad good. Chicken dish was so so. Not much dessert except baklava.

Food and service are outstanding. The selection is fantastic as well. My only reason for giving 4…read morestars rather than 5 is because of the pricing. Basil Bandwagon is overpriced for their deli and many of the items they carry. At the same time it is very good quality stuff, just pricing is my only "complaint" so to say. I realize this is a very wealthy area, and Basil Bandwagon does put out some coupons here and there which is appreciated. It is certainly more of A $$$ store than $$ in which I think they would still be profitable, yet a bit more fair. In any circumstance if you're looking for good quality, very healthy stuff it is a great spot to try out. Also the portions on most things at the deli counter are very nice with their sandwiches. Staff is also very helpful & knowledgeable.

I learned that Basil Bandwagon has been open for 25 years. The year they opened, I was eating cold Pop Tarts while running to catch the school bus at 6:55am. In those days, fat-free was all the rage and considered "healthy" -- never mind all the refined carbs, loads of sugar, and preservatives. These days, I'm a strict vegetarian who is mostly vegan. I cook a lot and eat fresh produce daily. I appreciate that BB offers a healthy alternative to basically all the crap fast food otherwise available in the area. We ordered a wrap from the cafe and decided to eat it there. The seating was a counter with a few bar stools but it was clean if not spacious. My husband and I shared the "Freebird" wrap -- tofu-based mock chicken, sprouts, lettuce, tomato, and vegan mayo. It came with potato chips. Wow, this was so good! Clean tasting, hearty, and delicious. I was so impressed with it that we grabbed a prepackaged wrap from the cold case to take on the plane with us. We also picked up a few other vegan sandwiches which were okay tasting but overall too dense and heavy. Next time, I'll stick with the housemade items. I do find it a little annoying that BB doesn't seem to carry as many vegan items as they do things that are "paleo" and gluten-free. I also find that some of their food items are so outrageously overpriced that you'd be better off hunting around at the local grocery stores instead of purchasing them here. The next time I'm in town, I'll be there to order another yummy item from the cafe. Thanks Basil Bandwagon for catering to us "healthy" folks looking for something tasty and satisfying to fill our bellies.

Finally one is just around the corner! I stopped by on a weekday and was greeted at the door by a member of their team. After I told him it was my first visit, he explained the prices on the two sizes as well as the flavors they had available for the day. I got a couple of tastes and ended up leaving with a 12oz of the ginger tumeric and a growler of the red zinger. All for around $26-$27. I usually go through one of the Health Ade bottles a day so I love that these are organic and locally nano-brewed. They don't have the tartness that most kombuchas I am used to have, so that is either a plus or minus for you depending on your individual preference. Oh! One more thing, if you live nearby and plan to go here quite a bit, go for the growler. You bring it back with each visit and refills are $15 compared to the $20 you'll spend on your first time. So of course this is a *Covid times review and I felt that they took some great steps to keep customers and their staff safe. They have a little table set up outside where you drop off growlers and pick up refilled ones. Hand sanitizer was on the table and a menu was on the window so the whole interaction was nearly contactless. Andddd now my ginger turmeric is officially done...

Although I prefer my kombucha a bit more carbonated and sour, hers is delightfully fresh which is wonderful! I'll be back to purchase more!

Everything on the menu is vegan, but my family truly could not taste any difference when we visited. We ordered the Oreo protein pancakes, blueberry pancakes, penne with vodka sauce, and a breakfast burrito. Since I turned vegan, I've been craving pancakes so the food really hit the spot. The pancakes were so fluffy and tasted incredible. The penne was also so flavorful and was maybe our favorite dish. The breakfast burrito was also filling and tasted great. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of food and would come here regularly if I lived in the area. Additionally, the prices were super reasonable and are definitely more affordable than the average restaurant in the area. Chelsea was our waitress and I want to give her a special shoutout because she was particularly helpful and friendly to us. She did an excellent job answering our questions and even was willing to share general tips on vegan cooking. She really went out of her way to help me out after I mentioned that I recently turned vegan.

I have also enjoyed their wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. And they even have burgers and hot dogs, too. GfL is my new spot for takeout (order ahead online to save time!) before heading to the airport.
