OMG!!! We used them to cater our Christmas dinner. We had the ordered beef and the salmon with sides of potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, roasted root veggies. Everything was so delicious!!!! The filet mignon wad cooked perfectly and we got so many people saying that the salmon was the best they ever had! So highly recommend food!!! They catered my niece's wedding. The appetizers were diverse, plentiful and delicious. The buffet dinner offered pork medallions, chicken with sun dried tomstoes and more. I scheduled a lunch meeting here about a month ago. I've driven by the location many times and didn't realize it was open- but what a mistake I was making! Lunch was reasonably priced and very delicious- I had a salad special, and made modifications which they were willing to accommodate. It can get busy so orders can take a little time to come out, so plan accordingly! A tip for newcomers: there is no waiter service here, which we didn't realize. I love this place! The cafe is very clean and cozy, the staff is very helpful and friendly and wherever you decided to sit, they will bring your food to you. They have a healthy and delightful menu. I had tried the Apricot Mango Chicken Salad with toasted almonds and a balsamic vinaigrette, you can order it as a salad or a sandwich on 7 grain. I have also tried their Ruben, which is amazing. Very disappointed! The tables were not wiped clean. We were never offered a drink. When my daughter asked for water the waitress left so quick I couldn't say me as well. When she brought the water it was in a little plastic glass warm no ice. She never asked if we liked the meal. My fruit salad that I was assured was fresh fruit came out slimy and tasted terrible. It's a casual place, you place your order at the front window with one of the owners and then they freshly make your order and take it to your table. Second time to this nice little restaurant and both times have been great. The first time I had the blue burger which was amazing. This time I had the tuna melt. It was perfectly grilled on sourdough and was without the weird distractions some places put in the tuna. It was a clean fresh delicious sandwich. Will be back again soon. I had lunch at Chive and Thyme on 3-22-17, Wed. Their Artichoke Chicken Wild Rice soup was magnificent: It was a beautiful "mélange" of colors in part because of its texture: so often ingredients are pureed FAR past the point of recognition. This hearty, flavorful, healthful, and fortifying soup was perfect on a chilly, windy day at a sunny window inside this cozy café. I also had their sweet shrimp-and-lobster-salad sandwich. It was served with arugula on a soft but lightly-toasted brioche bun. A small side of Red Bliss potato salad, enhanced with mustard, came with the sandwich. I emphatically agree with other reviewers who describe this food as "fresh" and as "delicious." It was "a KNOCK-out"! It couldn't have been any better. I guess that means it was perfect. As far as I'm concerned, yes, this food WAS PERFECT. (Did I say "PERFECT"?) The menu was extensive. The two items I sampled were SO good I can only imagine the quality of their entire "line." They're primarily active as caterers and they must be excellent in that respect. Amy and Michelle are two of the hardest-working, most professional ladies you can find to handle your catering needs! They are both EXTREMELY patient. I hired them for my wedding (120 people) and they pulled it off without a hitch!! Right from the start, being as it is a wedding, my family and I had to change our minds 10,000 times and switched taters to potatoes and really get picky. Chive and Thyme was SO patient with all our little changes. At no point did we feel like we were being nickel and dimed. They are VERY reasonably priced. At no point did it feel like "hurry up and pay me" type of a situation. They listened to our every desire and accommodated all of them without even batting an eye. Everything was, "No problem!" or, "Of course we can do that!" My husband and I really liked the idea of our wedding feeling like one big holiday, family get-together. It was close enough to Thanksgiving that we decided to go all out Thanksgiving dinner style. Turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, green beans, salad, bread...you name it, Amy and Michelle brought it. The venue was a dry-venue (part of a church) so they even helped us set up a "mock-tail" bar for all our non-alcoholic beverages. The wait staff was courteous and prompt. They set up and cleaned up with us hardly even noticing! The items that needed to be delivered the day before were done so with no problems.
