WOAH! These sammiches are huge... fresh meat and fresh toppings....idk.... kinda running for top spot of one of the greatest sub spots I've been to. The vibe inside is very chill + laid back. No frills and no fuss. Single stall bathroom. I go. You go. We just take turns. Quick ordering and food was out quickly. You can also place a phone order....unsure about online. If you're hungry, eat here. Want to have leftovers? Eat here.

Food here is fantastic. Been here 20 times and never disappointed. Staff is great but always busy

    Boar's Head Genoa Salami Hoagie

Where do I start? I ordered a salami hoagie with extra meat, a pepper shooter, and fries for delivery. Everything was packaged well. The fries probably would have been better if I picked them up instead of delivery, but they were still pretty good. The pepper shooter was a symphony of flavor, like mouth fireworks. I absolutely have to get the Jameseppi next. As you can see, my hoagie was MASSIVE. This is the only deli I can find on this stupid mountain that will just pile a bunch of Boar's Head Genoa on some bread for you. Just get food here. If you're a local or a vacationer, it doesn't matter. Eat here.

Had the best experience here on our trip to the poconos. -- It's a 6 minute drive from the camelback resort. Absolutely can sit in and enjoy your delicious food. Everything we ordered, we loved. The perfect burger. The food tastes like they care. I have a nut allergy and the man who took our order went above and beyond checking for me making sure their was no warnings. He genuinely cared and that's rare. They have a ton of options food wise, burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, pizza, chips, drinks. Whole place just has a great vibe. They even have an area full of local businesses business cards. Can tell it's a community place. 10/10! spend your money here, you won't regret it

Lovely place. We went here only because GPS wanted to take the long way back to route 80. Pretty quiet and looks real clean. They were busy though with phone orders and probably Uber. The breakfast sandwich is pretty big that we were able to save it for when we got back home. Love it. Will come back again

Awesome Buffalo Blue Chicken Pasta Salad

After hearing a great deal about this spot I was finally able to get in and give them a try. I know a lot of people who have strong opinions about food and they all said they loved it here so I was eager to see if I agreed or not. So...I did. The owner gave me a sample of their buffalo blue chicken pasta salad to start...not a bad way to be welcomed in somewhere huh? The chicken was not dry and the flavors of the buffalo and the blue cheese both came through nicely without anything being overpowering. I would definitely order this as a side dish on future trips in, and trust me, there are going to be future trips in. For my sandwich I went with the "Nick's Pick", just made too much sense right? Even if it didn't have the owners name on it though, this was the one that jumped out immediately to me. Chicken Cutlets, Bacon, Pepper Jack Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, and "Big Belly Sauce" (which I found out was a house made variation of big mac sauce with some added horseradish) on a seeded semolina roll. All of this is 100% up my alley so the decision was a no brainer. A few things I would say to be prepared for is firstly, these are not the chicken cutlets you're used to getting if you normally order a sandwich like this from NY or NJ. That's not necessarily a bad thing by any means, just don't expect that Italian seasoned bread crumb and super thin cutlets. These are hand dredged and fried to order though and they have a nice crispy crunch to them. Secondly, this sandwich is massive. I'm a big boy and I was effective at eating exactly half before tapping out. Lastly, ask them to melt the Pepper Jack if you want it melted. That would be the literal ONLY knock I could provide on this sandwich at all is that the cheese wasn't melted. It's a preference thing and that might be how 99/100 people prefer it, but next time I'll personally ask for it melted. Toss in the fact that it was like $12 and I could get two meals out of it....absolute no brainer of a verdict. Nick's Big Belly Deli in Scotrun, PA - Didn't Suck!

My friends all shared a large pizza, customized with at least 5 toppings and it looked and smelled amazing. As a lactose intolerant person, I got a personal pizza with no cheese that I ordered at the counter since the kiosk didn't have that option as at the point, I can't really call it pizza. More like dough and sauce . I got the personal dough and (extra)sauce with pineapple (yay pineapple on pizza lovers! Don't hate) and pepperoni. The pepperoni was the ones you'd find at prince street pizza in soho! Little crispy cups of pepperoni goodness. The dough however was on the chewier side, and not crispy/thin like New York pizza slices are. Nevertheless, this was definitely a good spot. 4 stars- I think if they could make it thin crust, we would up it to 5 stars even. Maybe add in the option for thick or thin crust so customers who have a preference can choose what they want? For the lodge, expect to pay upwards of $20-$30 for a large pizza, and about $13 for a personal pie. It is expensive, but that's to be expected for Great Wolf Lodge- everything is expensive here! But what I loved about Hungry as a Wolf was how customizable everything was especially for someone who had dietary restrictions such as lactose intolerance. The staff were able to answer my questions and create something that I was happy to eat.

From my picture you can also see that they skimped on the cheese. Also expect long waits. Unfortunately you don't have many other family friendly vegetarian options when you are at the lodge.

There's plenty of indoor seating, and on nicer days you can also enjoy the outdoor seating. We started with a side of meatballs that were served piping hot with a delicious sauce. Honestly, the picture doesn't do them justice. They were fantastic. The Italian sub was also excellent--everything tasted fresh and it was served on a perfectly soft Italian roll. We also ordered a personal pepperoni pizza with a thin crust, and it was just as delicious. Our server was wonderful. She kept stopping by to refill our drinks, asked where we were visiting from, and was incredibly friendly and welcoming the entire time. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and felt very welcomed. They were very accommodating. As far as ambience, it's a really cool cozy spot, the TV was on playing some cartoons. So no loud music blasting in your ear. And it was a great experience overall.
