This place has decent ingredients but they are super skimpy and greedy. I ordered the chicken salad a few times, sometimes it has pickles sometimes not. But the last time I got it they spread it nearly as thin as the layer or mayonnaise and I basically had a bread and lettuce sandwich. Probably my last time ordering. For the price they charge I should be getting a nice consistent sandwich. As with everything in Effort i just wind up disappointed.

I was one of there first customers, they weren't even 100% open yet, and there hoagies, breakfast sandwiches were to die for. Now your getting half of the meat or whatever your ordering in your sandwich or salads for almost double the price. Then you go to the breakfast- my husband and I would love to order there breakfast burritos, which was filled with 2 eggs, cheese, potatoes, plus choice of meat ( bacon, sausage or ham) for $5.99. Not bad of a price, then the next weekend it went to $8.99 and looked smaller, so we thought OK it was during the egg shortage and when a dozen eggs were around $8-$9. Nope, still smaller and price still $8.99, never went back to $5.99. I can say they are very nice when you call to make your order over the phone, for there prices, they should be treating there customers like king and queens. A few months ago, they posted on regular paper, which was very hard to read, that due to staff shortage, they will be closed on Sundays. They never reopened on Sundays. They don't have any areas to sit and eat there if you would like too. Just so sad, I was so happy when they opened up, and now, seems like you need to pay $40 plus for two large sandwiches. I would expect those prices in NY or Philly.

Atomic Hog is PHENOMENAL…read more I have never had brisket this stellar. The tenderness, the flavor, and the amount of meat is truly incredible. So perfectly seasoned is the meat that I never use any sauces or condiments. I usually get the collared greens as a side. Once again, it's a large portion, well seasoned and perfectly complementary to their amazing meats. Additionally, the Atomic Hog staff is friendly and capable. Atomic Hog is highly recommended and like many in the area, we hope they find a permanent brick and mortar home!

They don't have a truck, but have a small tented area where they display the menu, take orders and pay (credit cards accepted). Then next to it is a large wide smoker and a table where you hand over the receipt and collect your order. They offer pulled pork, brisket, ribs, chicken, roasted hog and sides (baked beans, mac & cheese, coleslaw, cornbread, etc). They use their own special dry rub, so this BBQ is not dripping wet. They do have several BBQ sauces to add to your food. The baked beans had a pleasant kick to them. I do think they should use a nice brioche roll instead of the average burger roll. I've had a lot of different BBQ from various states in the country and this was better than average. About an 8 out of 10. I was glad to see no fatty pieces in my pulled pork, but my husband found one in his brisket. That's just a matter of making sure prep is perfect. At South Mall, there are no chairs and tables to dine. So bring your own portable ones and dine near your car or take it home. The entire area is blocked and all the trucks/tents face the center of the large rectangular area. Worth checking out.

Fresh homemade meats, soups, desserts, you name it...it's all done the right way here. First time here I had the pulled lamb sandwich. I had never heard of this before and I asked the owner what he suggested and after he said "everything", he said if I liked lamb then this was it. He couldn't be more correct. The lamb was tender and juicy, the roll was a nice sturdy Kaiser, and the pickled cabbage added a nice little acidity and juiciness to this sandwich as well. Next time in I ordered the "Phat Boy" and the Roast Beef sandwich. Both were incredible. The phat boy had fried eggs, cheese, pork roll (or Taylor Ham depending who you ask), bacon, and sausage on that same Kaiser roll. Everything was amazing, but the flavor of the sausage really shined through on this and created an experience I want over and over again. You could truly taste the freshness of the meat and delicious fennel flavor. This roast beef sandwich rivals (if not beats) the amazing roast beef sandwiches of my youth in Brooklyn from places like Brennan and Carr as well as Roll N' Roaster. The meat is incredibly tender, I was barely even chewing and it was just melting away in my mouth. The au jus added some nice flavor and moisture, and the horseradish mayo was (as it always is) a wonderful touch on a quality roast beef sandwich. The last time in (again on his suggestion) I went with the lamb burger. Another homerun. The meat was tender and cooked medium rare. The bun again was that same crusty Kaiser roll which I personally love for burgers. Just the addition of lettuce, tomato, and his Rooster sauce so to not overpower the flavor of the meat. This was seriously fantastic and somehow honestly probably the lowest on my list of items I loved here...that's how good everything else has been. Run, don't walk to get here. Two words: Breakfast Sandwich!…read more Cafe Duet is a great little spot tucked away by the Monroe County Courthouse. They have great coffee, pastries, small bites, and lunch options. The breakfast sandwich is phenomenal! As their menu states, it consists of "two organic eggs, split and grilled Spanish chorizo, sharp cheddar cheese and baby arugula on a fresh baked roll w/ a touch of sriracha mayo." The eggs are cooked perfectly! The contrast of the cheddar against the chorizo and sriracha mayo is wonderful and the peppery arugula comes through at the end. I would eat one every morning if my wallet/waist could afford it! The cafe is both large and small (you'll really only understand if you go) but I never have an issue finding somewhere to sit. In the warmer months, it's really nice to sit outside in their patio area. The staff is always accommodating and the place is well kept. Sometimes you wait a bit for things but it's never super long and they are pretty good at keeping you in the loop if there's an issue. Definitely a great spot worth checking out!

The coffee to milk ratio was good and the chocolate flabor was not too overpowering- it still tasted like a latte and not hot chocolate. It wasn't watered down, and was still rich and creamy. The americano was a good cup- straight to the point and robust. We also had the banana nut bread and the pistachio-cranberry-white mocha chip biscotti. Both pastries were pretty good. Some tables had ordered hot food like waffles and soups, which looked pretty good and we might try this place out for a snack or breakfast in the future. Interior is pretty with plants, a record player playing jazz, and clean tables and chairs. Service is friendly, interior is old world charm, coffee and pastries are great. Public parking, ccs, Apple Pay. Public metered parking. Would recommend!
