Absolutely incredible pulled pork got it with a roll and a side of collard greens that may be remind me of my cooking from my childhood. My aunt used to cook this one when I was a little girl and just took my right back to my childhood. Incredibly soft and moist and said take apart easy to chew wasn't stringing just amazing good food on a BBQ truck that travels. A lots of really good choices of sides as well as other meats like ribs, chicken wings, Angus beef brisket as well as many sides homemade mac and cheese, cornbread Etc. They will be here till 8 outside of the honey hole Winery just off the corner of honey hole Road and St Johns Road in Drums PA. Stop by and see Harold and Marilyn will working with their sons here on the truck

Tried this place at Stroudsburg HS event. The taste was good except there was too much fat in every bite. It repeated all night long.

We stumbled upon Traveling J's at the 2nd Annual All Hallow's Flea and couldn't resist. With two…read morefood truck options--burgers (always a solid standby) or Middle Eastern fusion--we decided to go for the more adventurous choice. Best decision of the day. Even with the huge crowd, Traveling J's was running like a well-oiled machine. Two people--just a chef and a cashier--were absolutely cranking out orders while still keeping the line moving fast. Impressive! We narrowed our choices down to two items to split - Gourmet Grilled Cheese + Garlic Cilantro Fries (upgrade) and Hummus with carrots & cucumbers. Add two cold drinks and our total came to $28.62. Not bad considering the generous portions. When we opened our to-go boxes, we were seriously impressed. The hummus was smooth and creamy, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with spices. The fries were crispy (not soggy!) with just the right kick of garlic and cilantro. And the grilled cheese? Perfectly toasted, melty, and stuffed with sweet, crispy bacon. Cheese was oozing, bread was golden, and it was everything a grilled cheese should be--and then some. The portions were more than enough for two hungry adults, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I even made sure to compliment the chef--he looked like he'd been hustling nonstop to keep up with the crowd, and it showed in the quality. Next time, I've got my eye on their fried Halloumi cheese. It looked AMAZING coming out of that truck. Bottom line: Fresh, flavorful, filling, and run by a hardworking duo who know what they're doing. Traveling J's is officially on my "must-eat-again" list.

If you're looking for a quality food truck in the Poconos, look no further. Savory Eats (which is…read morenow primarily set up at the Crossings Outlets in Tannersville) was an excellent place to grab lunch. It starts with employees for me and the owners (and their kids) were very helpful and friendly. We had a cheesesteak, a chicken cheesesteak, and an Italian Sausage Sandwich (with a twist). I'm not even sure which one I liked the most...they were 3 very good sandwiches. The Cheesesteak had onions, peppers, and American cheese. A true "Philly" doesn't have peppers yes yes I know, but this was a very good cheesesteak even if it wasn't authentic (for all you people about to give me grief haha). Very well seasoned steak, the roll held up to the meat and cheese for the most part (after filming and photos I let it sit for quite a while before I got to it), and the onions and peppers were sautéed well. The Chicken Cheesesteak was also very good. The meat was seasoned unlike any chicken in the Poconos area, had more of a NYC feel to it...almost like a halal spot or something. It was tender and tasty also with onions and peppers but this one was drizzled with a honey mustard dressing. Added a really nice sweet and savory to the whole thing. The Italian sausage sandwich was everything you'd expect from an Italian sausage with one big difference. Instead of the typical marinara type sauce you'd get on this, it came with sweet Thai chili sauce. At first I was skeptical, but this really works. Nice little pop of heat with the sweetness and the sausage was cooked perfectly...not dry at all. Get here and check them out. Priced similarly to the market around them, great people, great food. Savory Eats - Didn't Suck!
