    Babuni's Ukrainian Platter

Some of the best pierogies I've ever eaten. The place is small for dining in, but the service is very good and the ambience is very nice.

My new favorite food in the area. Hearty, comfort food that is cooked and prepared beautifully. We had the country chicken and the Ukrainian pierogi platter with kielbasa. Shared a non-alcoholic lemon radler that went really well with lunch. Very excited to come back next time we're in town.

Found this place on a tip from a local cashier and wasn't disappointed. The man running the place was so friendly to me and my son. The inside is cute with a small cozy wooden seating area (maybe 12 table setups?) to the right, a small Polish market selling candies, treats and beverages all from Poland ahead of you, and a deli area. They have a little waiting area that has some Polish swag on the walls. Always nice to show pride in your homeland! We were just in the mood for a lunch to go so we took the recommendation of potato and cheese perogies for my son and a kielbasa hero for myself. The food took a little while to wait for and that's when I spied their pastry's that come in on Saturdays (along with polish rye bread). I snagged a couple raspberry Paczki which are glazed doughnuts with different fillings. My son swallowed up the perogies and said they were some of the best he's ever had. My kielbasa hero was on a fresh long roll and filled with a super long kielbasa, spicy mustard and sauerkraut. I'm not usually a kraut fan, but the flavors were so good together. It was a very filling sandwich. The pacski was out of this world, so fresh, fluffy, sweet and eaten very quickly. I will definitely repeat when in the area and hopefully one day will have a nice sit down feast with my family. The owner should be proud of having such a neat little piece of Poland to share.

What can I say when you're out in the Poconos and you have a hankering for comfort food? My type of comfort food? You find this little gem and get the flavors you grew up with. My girlfriend and I just googled polish restaurants near me and Babuni's table came up, great reviews, on our way. I had the halushky with grilled kielbasa and my girlfriend had the bigos. Both were delicious. We also shared cucumber salad that was so fresh and tasty. After dinner we had a great conversation with the chef/owner and can't wait to come back. If you love Eastern European food as we do then you'll love Babuni's Table.

Hector, you rocked as our server today with your consistent service and humble manner. Special shout out to the chefs in the kitchen, Ella and Anna, who presented us with hot, delicious homemade foods and entrees. And to Jonathan who helped provide additional table service, too. From the potato pancake appetizer to the Sorrel and chicken soups, the hand breaded, fried chicken entrees through to the dessert of four sweet cream pierogi, drizzled in chocolate and topped with ice cream. Oh my! We even ordered an order of Feta & spinach pierogi to go! All homemade and cooked to order. Stop by and enjoy the homemade Polish specialties. a small deli to pick up smoked Kielbasi , luncheon meats and Polish treats.

Another month, another visit to try the beef bracsiole special. Entree included two rolled cubed beef patties along with a dozen homemade, soft, pillowy dumplings and cold slaw salad. The beef wasn't the tenderest meat we've eaten here and partially disappointed in that choice. But the real disappointment was when the waitress shared that in the future, the restaurant won't be offering lemons with our water because people have been mixing in sugar to make lemonade!! A slice of lemon! Many great platters that were ordered in previous visits that were more superior.

Great service. Love the decoration inside, owners built the tables and chairs them selves. They have a nice Polish deli when you walk in or a small dining area. We have dimes on several times, and each time the owner has stopped at our table to chat with us , which is a great touch. There homemade pierogis are full of flavor. I have been ordering the sautéed cabbage and noodles with a piece or kielbasa, so yummy. So much to take home left overs. My husband ordered there special one night called the kielbasa Ruben. That was so full of flavor, each time we come, then owner will make it for him. Even if it's not the special that day. That is service.

Honestly, this is one of the best restaurants in Northeast Pennsylvania. The food is always outstanding. Their meat pierogies are on par with the best you'll find in Krakau in the old town. I can't say enough about this restaurant. Try it for yourself. If you love Polish cuisine, you can't beat Babuni's Table.

I lived in Poland for several months and this food was so nostalgic. We can't wait to go back and try more

BYOB We came with another couple on a Saturday night and it was amazing to walk into a gorgeous dining room area with a kid play space. Our two boys ages 6, loved having a lego table and toys while the adults loved having a moment of peace at the table! We literally had to beg them to come eat because they were so entertained. Do not think that it is a messy place because it is kid-friendly, quite the opposite, it was so elegant and beautiful inside. Now for the FOOD! Hubby and I ordered a tasting dish they had which included a few Polish favorites to try and it was perfect. It brought 3 different types of perogies (the potato and cheese was my favorite), stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes, kielbasa with sauerkraut, and more! We could taste a little bit of everything and the portion was huge. For our boys we had the chicken fingers and fries, and this sounds silly but it was REAL chicken. It wasn't battered, just strips of seasoned chicken and fries, the kids loved them. We also shared two desserts there was an ice cream with fruit (which was gorgeous) and a cole apple pie. I'm not a huge fan of the desserts but the presentation was incredible. The only downside is that service is a bit slow, but since it is BYOB, just take ur time drinking your wine. Overall I would highly recommend trying out Flavor of Poland and will be returning!

Everyone eating seemed to be enjoying themselves. I went with my husband, son , another couple and their son and it almost felt like a double date. There is a kids section and the two were able to relax play read watch tv and just hangout together. Close enough to see them but couldn't hear them lol. The food was different but definitely would go back to try more things and enjoy the place itself. The plates were beautifully arranged. And it is byob. I ordered the chicken and husband the pork both pretty good. The other couple ordered the polish platter and the kids got chicken and fries and we got for dessert ice cream, apple pie and fruits.
