A friendly host took my order and offered some recommendations. While small, the seating area was comfortable and inviting, with multiple seating options. The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious. I opted for the Alabama white sauce, which was great. But, it came with a side dish of sauce that I just had to try. The creamy, spicy orange sauce was even better than the white sauce. Absolutely delicious! I ordered from Wingz and a Prayer twice in the same week because it was that good. The wings were packed with flavor, and the sides were also really good and paired perfectly with them. The only small issue was the second time I ordered I added the banana special dessert, and it was accidentally left out of the bag. I meant to reach out, but they had already closed by the time I noticed. Honestly, the food was so good it didn't take away from the experience. Hopefully next time I go, I'll mention the dessert and have it added to the next order. I'll definitely be ordering again. We stopped here on our last trip to Kalahari. There's not many good food options by the waterpark. We looked up Yelp and decided to come here before checking in to the waterpark. Not realizing the time, we got there right when they opened and they were still setting up. The entire staff was really nice and we sat around in their dining area admiring all the positive art pieces and news clipping on their history. It's an amazing story of overcoming the struggles of Covid dining limitations. The staff is really the major standout in my eyes. I randomly found this wing spot on Yelp because I was sort of in the middle of nowhere in a place called Pocono manor in Pennsylvania. The food in the area was typically alright but nothing to write home about, but this spot was actually so good that I would visit it even if it was in a major foodie city like Los Angeles. My favorite three items on the menu were (in order of absolute top item) 1: The banana pudding, this was probably the best banana pudding I've ever had in my whole life!! 2: The pineapple habanero wings, I was surprised that it was a dry rub, but man it was soooo good!! 3: The mango habanero wings. I ordered this because it reminded me of wing stop and I figured how can I go wrong with that flavor haha. 4: the Mac and cheese was pretty good, I've had better but for sure best one in the area I was staying. My least favorite item was the garlic Parmesan, it just felt too liquidy and not enough Parmesan. They should add some Parmesan to that marinade. We went to the Poconos on holiday. My husband found this restaurant on Yelp. The wings were so filling and SO delicious. The cornbread was the best cornbread I've ever tasted. Soft, moist. Their Mac and cheese was flavorful and well-seasoned. We ended up taking home leftovers because we got full! Service was wonderful, this restaurant is a blessing. It was the 5 star reviews that brought us to this shop for dinner today, and we hope that our 5 star review will bring future customers in, too! Everyone here was so helpful and patient as we asked for sauce recommendations (we went with lemon pepper, buffalo, and honey BBQ in the end and loved ALL of them). Amazing flavors for wings! Highly recommend the jerk, sweet chili, and the mango habanero (if you like spice). The wings are pretty big and there are over 50 flavors to choose from. Some cons are the large fries are soggy and the Mac and cheese needs more cheese but it doesn't take away from the great wings. We've eaten at many wing places and while we aren't connoisseurs, we do know good wings and this place is it Food: delicious flavors! We ordered lemon pepper, garlic, bourbon, buffalo. The bourbon one was unique and good but we couldn't eat too much of it. Portion sizes are huge IMO...you get drumsticks and not just the wings. It was just as good reheated the next day (we over ordered because we wanted to try so many flavors!). They allow you to ask for the sauce on the side so that's another way to try it. Customer Service: the front counter ladies were super friendly and attentive throughout dinner, wings came out fast (were there for an early dinner so that might have factored in) Seating: one bar height table top for 10, three bar height tables of two, club chairs (4) around a coffee table.
