Stopped in on one of the coldest days of the year. Food was delicious, great value for the huge portions. Friendly wait staff. Give it a try

Pork Bahn mi

We preferred the Pork Bahn mi and combo pho. $30. Both items were a lot more flavorful than we have experienced lately. So far I've reviewed at least 20 Vietnamese restaurants around the world and this Bahn mi was the best I've had being juicy full of flavor with a bun that was not too hard or too soft. I'm still liking my fingers because the flavor was so amazing!

Oh how I wish I had a restaurant like this one near my house. Great portions and prices. You cannot go wrong with a grilled pork chop over rice at a Vietnamese restaurant, and they did not disappoint. They have two options though for grilled pork chop. One of them comes with one pork chop and the other comes with three, so make sure you ask. The pho was delicious and I got my bun with grilled pork and spring rolls. I have been striking out for a while, ordering this dish and other substandard restaurants. The portion size is humongous and the amount of meat that they put in my bun, oh my! We always stop by this restaurant whenever we take the kids to the Poconos

#8 Special Pho

If you're in the Mount Poconos area and want some authentic Vietnamese food, Pho Saigon 3 is the place to go. It's a hidden gem in the area. Our usual go to whenever we visit #8 Special Pho & #38 Grilled pork chop, shredded pork skin, fried egg, & egg loaf with rice. The broth for the pho is rich & flavorful and the grilled pork chop is seasoned well. Portions are generous and if you opt for the large bowl of pho it is massive. I am never able to finish it on my own. The restaurant is cozy and has a good amount of seating. Staff is also friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

There's a cash and credit price so cheaper to pay cash. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures. The egg rolls are a good choice. I had the larger bowl of pho with everything in it. The broth is good and staff are fast. Definitely recommend this restaurant. It's good to have Pocono pho!

Food was excellent and delicious. Portion sizes were great. The chicken was well seasoned. Highly recommend. The bowls were like bottomless pits, full of tripe and noodles. Service was quick and efficient Ambiance: Well cleaned

Pho and side compliments

Visited this location in August. Family run business, owners most attentive. Pricing was fair $18 for large. Almost no difference in price between medium and large bowl, but large is significantly bigger. Portions were huge. Pho was hot and delicious. Fair amount of beef and a lot of vegetables. Broth was exceptional. I would eat here again next visit. Plenty of free parking

Large special pho

Rented an Airbnb for a weekend getaway and came through for lunch on a Sunday around 1130am. Plenty of seating and started to fill up by time we ordered which was nice to see. Service and food here is phenomenal. Mom and pop type shop with their kids or some teens serving, but everything came out piping hot and delicious spring rolls reminded me of the ones I had in vietnam, especially the filling which was really good! The pho itself had a ton of depth and it was huge (ordered the large). Ordered some more food to go as we headed back to Jersey. Really great spot. Oh yea, if you like Vietnamese iced coffee, they do it dark here and I loved it. Let the ice melt though and enjoy it on the road. Will be back next time I'm in the area for sure

It was a cold snowy day so my friends and I wanted something to warm us up during our Presidents' Day trip. We all love pho and found this place not too far from the outlets. The pho was really good and the service was great! Everyone was friendly and the soup came out right away. The restaurant was also clean and had a decent crowd even though snow was coming down. I don't frequent this area but if I am in be there again I would visit again!

Very much enjoy our visit here. The beef sticks were a little plain but the pork chop A+. Spring rolls also top notch

#38: grilled pork chop, shredded pork skin, fried egg and egg loaf with rice

Very solid and authentic Vietnamese food, and a great dining option near Great Wolf Lodge/Kalahari. Our large bowls of pho were satisfying and filling, and taste great. The beef slices could be more thin and more rare, but there's a liberal amount, and the tendon pieces are meltingly soft. The fried egg rolls (cha giò) are excellent and come with lettuce to wrap in. The grilled pork chop is thick and well seasoned, and part of a delicious rice combo. The mains consist of only pho (rice noodle soup), bun (rice vermicelli bowls), and rice & meat platters, so it's a concentrated menu, but done well. Not among my top 5 pho/Vietnamese places but it's very good.

The food was very flavorful, the servers were very friendly and made recommendations. Would definitely recommend.

The food here is fantastic, the portions are big and everything was so flavorful. The workers are friendly and the food comes out quickly. If you are in the Poconos area, definitely make this a stop here for lunch or dinner. I sure will be back!

Pork banh mi. Needs more veggies.

It was empty but filled by the time we left. The inside is bigger than expected with plenty of tables. Service is excellent. There was only 1 waitress and she got very busy as more ppl came in so I hope more staff joins her for prime dinner time. We ordered pho, bahn mi, and wings. The pho and banh mi were excellent. Very authentic. Pho broth is spot on. Flavorful but not heavily seasoned or sweet. Noodles were perfectly cooked. The only thing missing is tripe! The bahn mi had perfect amount of cold cut to pate ratio and the bread was the right amount of soft/chewy. The wings were tasty too, cooked perfectly and not dry which is rare for wings in an Asian restaurant if you know what I mean. Overall such a great spot. If you're in the area I highly recommend you check pho bowl out!

We were the first customers to arrive as we got there just as it opened. In addition to their food, they also have bubble tea. We ordered the thai tea and vietnamese blended milk coffee. Loved the blended milk coffee but just keep in mind that it is very strong! I found the thai tea to be a bit too sweet and ended up mixing in some water later. The pho was very good with rich meaty broth that wasn't greasy at all. They gave us plenty of noodles and lots of meat. The spring rolls consisted of both pork and shrimp but the peanut sauce was a bit too watery. I prefer mine to be of thicker consistency. We love garlic noodles so when we saw them on the menu, we had to order it. Unfortunately, we found it to be very salty. The noodle texture was perfect though, nice and chewy. Loved that it came with large shrimp and meat but just was too salty. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us a few times. Seating is roomy and overlooks the mall.

My dad loved the steak & tripe pho. I enjoyed the shrimp pho. The side of vegetables to be added to the soup included lime, jalapeño, bean sprouts. There was no basil today. But it was all good! We started the meal with shrimp summer rolls as our appetizer, but ate them too quickly to get a photo taken of them. The peanut dipping sauce was yummy. We parked on the street at a parking meter. This is a nice neighborhood to walk around either before or after your meal. Right next to the theater. We took a peek in the grocery store next-door (owned by the same family) and found bok choy, dragon fruit, lychee, coconut for drinking, and lots of ingredients you would want for doing your own Vietnamese cooking. The restaurant is busy on a Monday night at dinner time. Good sign!

The bag that comes with it with the bean sprouts, jalapeños, basil, and limes was the size of a kids snack bag. There was literally 4 pieces of Basil in it. I've never seen such skimpy portions. You'd think it was for a cereal size bowl not a Pho sized bowl. We will not be coming here again.

I, and my group, had never seen a hibachi place with seats that are behind the chef and where you cannot see anything. What's the point of hibachi if you're not able to watch the chef? Then, you're crammed into the seats like a pack of sardines. Looking at the menu, the drinks do not have any prices. Our waitresses came around and took our drink orders, they kind of jumped around the table a little - taking order from half of my party and then jumping to one of the tables behind the chef stoves, then back to us. My husband orders a Strawberry Daqauri. I order a Pina Colada Daqauri and a water. Both of these are non-alcoholic. (This information is important for later) Drinks are brought out. It took roughly about 20 to 30 minutes for a chef to make their way around to us, no big deal. The music is loud and we can only hear the person next to us at best. Chef Harry and Nathan come out and starts cooking dinner. He warns us to backup and I cannot because my seat is in front of a beam, mildly dangerous. I had to turn away from the heat and brightness if the flames. Chef Harry starts cooking and he's very entertaining to watch and literally the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. When the protien is being cooked and served, they were served in very small portions. The NY Strip looks more like a flank steak and only had flavor from the fat of the steak. The chicken was dry and tasteless, the chicken teriyaki had no teriyaki. The food is mid, at best. It's absolutely not worth it for cheap chicken and flank steak from probably Aldi. The chef also seemed very confused by what order went to who and I don't really blame him with the amount of people that he has to manage. However, he messed up my friend's meal twice. First confusing his meal with his girlfriend's who was next to him, then the other he placed the shrimp on my other friend's plate then picked it up off her plate and moved it to his. What if they didn't know her or she was allergic to shellfish? We also received only one refill during this time. I drink a lot of water while eating so this was hard. Dinner wraps up, checks are served. My husband's Daqauri was $6 and mine was rang in as a virgin Pina Colada (I told them Daqauri) at $9. After mentioning this to the server, they have no way of ringing in a Pina Colada flavor for a Daqauri. She went to speak to her manager and we're informed that actually my husband's drink was also supposed to be $9 because all the virgin drinks are that much (much doubt). Then she walked away. Once the chef is done, they pretty much push you out the door, whether you're done eating or not, so they can turn the table. This is a tourist scam. Save your money and find another hibachi place.
