In the area for the weekend, of course Pho is my comfort food. Great for a rainy day. Greeted right away and seated. Staff very attentive. It is a simplistic clean diner feel to it on the inside with lots of windows. Food was very good I ordered Pho and egg rolls, i at the egg rolls before even thinking about taking a picture. Came in for an early afternoon since the kids were hungry after spent several hours at great wolf. It took pretty quick for our four dishes and food was above ok. These are the same owners of the Pho Saigon 2 that unfortunately burnt down earlier this year. Although it's a bit further for me now than before, it's still my go to place for the best Pho in the Lehigh Valley area. The portions are fantastic and most importantly, the food is consistent and served very quickly. Everyone is always nice and the establishment is always clean. I do like the other location better since it's closer to me and much easier to get in and out of but this is better than nothing. The prices have gone up but still very reasonable compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. I would highly recommend trying this Vietnamese restaurant out. I think you will be very pleased with the portions and quality of food here. I love the Pho and vermicelli dishes. read more

Came here for dinner because it had one of the better reviews around the Pocono area, boy did this place disappoint. Broth was watered down to the point it was flavorless and tasteless, the table behind us even complained to the waiter. There was maybe 3 slivers of brisket as the only meat in my large bowl of pho. My wife's portion of beef cube is like half the size of what I get in New York. No one brought water until you asked. Spent a weekend in Stroudsburg and we were looking for banh mi and pho. Luckily we found this restaurant to satisfy our cravings! We were in the area for indoor waterpark and wanted some viet and landed on this hidden gem via Yelp! Thank you guys. Food were delicious. Family owned, large portions, reasonable prices but with no charm or grace. The place is recently opened and doing a brisk business, a commentary on how few / bad the other local restaurants are. Vegan Spring rolls were fresh and served with a tasty peanut sauce. But the pho was unseasoned. Veg was nice. My beef "bowl" tasty but confusing. The menu looks authentic Vietnamese so if you know the cuisine they'll dish just what you want. But if you don't know Pho's 10 different variations, take a chance. The staff (aside from the handsome teen son) look bored and projected no enthusiasm for their craft. Don't expect them to help you understand the menu. read more

The food here is actually very good. We ate here before and everything was delicious. My most recent visit, I was seriously annoyed they served my food cold. The plates were ice cold. I mentioned it to the server and his response was the back door was open cuz the were unloading the delivery truck. I said the food is cold. He just repeated himself. There was no apology, no let me get you a new plate of HOT food as it should be only served this way! Just some lame ass excuse, which is absolutely unacceptable. We've been here a few times and it was always delicious. This past weekend with the New York City holidays, kids were off from school and I suppose everyone went to the Pocono Mountains. The owners were not aware of the New York City holidays and was not prepared for the crowd on a Thursday night. Long story short, we waited 1.5 hours to be seated and to get our food, we were the last call on dinning. It was so much, the cashier gave me a notepad to write my order down, which is fine because i understand it's a family owned business and Im happy when there's business for them. But when we got our food...our broth was basically hot water and our meats were overcooked. Now..as I've said I've been here before and the food is always good..so two days later we went back for lunch..and they redeemed themselves. Deliciously flavorful hot broth...juicy and tender meats...and delicious but strong Vietnamese coffee. I took off one star for that one night of disaster because I felt that if you run out of broth, let me know, I would've gladly ordered a rice dish instead. I'll come back again on my next Poconos trips and will update ratings if it's consistent. read more

Came here during a weekend snowboard trip because the reviews were really high. However, I found the food to be be mediocre. We ordered goi cuon (summer rolls), pho dac biet, and a rice platter combo. The coi cuon was definitely refrigerated and you could tell by the lettuce that was in there. The pho broth was pretty tasteless and lacked flavor. The rice platter was okay but the piece of cha that came with it you can tell was also not fresh. The price was a bit higher than expected but if the food was good then I wouldn't have noticed the pricing. Overall, it wasn't great but considering there's probably not a lot of options out in that area you can't really be picky when it comes to viet food. read more

After Pho Saigon 2 closed down due to the strip mall fire several months ago, this is the one that everyone flocks to for good Viet food when visiting Kalahari or Great Wolf. Taste is on point, prices are comparable to NYC prices. The one big con is that the sizing of their noodle selection is not honest. A "large" is really the same amount of food, just in a larger bowl with more soup. I know because my large had the same size noodle "puck" as my husband's small. We had to mix the puck a bit to get the noodles to separate, which means they just use the same portion size pucks for small and large. Tsk tsk. Service was also a bit lacking and cold. Wish we had more options in this area but luckily we don't come out here that often. read more
