Did a pick of order of some appetizers for a quick and easy dinner. I had the spring rolls, summer rolls, and steamed dumplings. All were cooked perfectly and had lots of flavor. Plenty of parking outside the establishment and pho is perfect for the wintertime when it gets cold out. Upon walking in, you are immediately greeted by the most polite and capable server ever. Numerous amount of tables with booth seats to accommodate larger parties can be found inside. I usually get the pho special but opted to try the pho royal this time as I wasn't too sure what the difference was. My goodness, the sheer portion size of the royal is something that needs to be studied. How i managed to finish it all is beyond my comprehension. The broth has a deep pleasant bone taste that is hot enough to cook the meats thoroughly. The NOODLES are something not every Vietnamese place gets right but here they cook it just right so that it comes out soft but not overly done so that when you scoop it up with chopsticks it is firm enough to withstand the force and does not fall apart on you. They do stock the real sriracha sauce here as well as give you the usual sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeño. If you enjoy boba tea, they do stock some in the refrigerator ready to go. Located in a strip mall, you'll find some really yummy Vietnamese food. I went with a party of 5 and we were promptly greeted and seated. I'll start with saying tbe customer service was really the best. After being seated, our server excused herself to grab a rag to wipe down the table from the condensation of our waters. Who is that attentive?! We ordered different dishes. I got the Pho Royal and my fiancé got the Pho Special. I like that they had these two different options for meats since I like tripe and tendons and my fiancé does not but he likes the other meats. The pho was straight fire. Broth was everything. They are a little skimpy with the veggies but the server did not hesitate to get us more. My fiancé's brothers got the vermicelli dish with grilled pork and egg rolls and both had no noodles left. My fiancé's sister got the pork fried rice and also enjoyed her dish. We also got Thai iced tea and the Vietnamese iced coffee. Wow! I will definitely have to come back to Phò Viet Royal. A new Vietnamese place can be great. Than again, it could be, well let's just say "not so great." Phò Viet proved itself a winner today. The spring rolls were fried to a tasty delight, without any greasy residue. The summer rolls were neatly rolled and stuffed with goodness. The peanut dipping sauce was thinner than any Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to, but it still packed enough flavor to enhance the summer rolls. Even though Phò is in the name of the restaurant, none of us wound up ordering any this time. Instead, I had a shrimp clay pot, there was an order of chicken clay pot, lemongrass chicken, and chicken over vermicelli noodles. Every dish was good and nothing was left behind. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu while he helped our friend with her order. Drinks appeared quickly and our glasses were never empty. This place deserves 3.5 stars. (I am giving it 4 since I cannot select 1/2 star and I think it would be less harmful to the business) This place is newly renovated. The interior décor is open and nice with ample lightings. Walls are adorned with modern pictures and ornaments, unlike the more traditional Pho places. There are large screen TV's. Incidentally, they were showing WWF when I was having my meal. I ordered a large Pho (P11) with eye rounds & brisket. The soup was tasty and the portion was average. The veggies rolls were crispy and nice. I consider them a good combination to go with the beef noodles. I noticed that the serving staff and manager were very friendly and engaged with customers. This is something you don't normally see in a Pho place. I hope they continue to attract customers and serve the area for a long time. read more
