Very authentic. Pho broth is spot on. Flavorful but not heavily seasoned or sweet. Noodles were perfectly cooked. The only thing missing is tripe! The bahn mi had perfect amount of cold cut to pate ratio and the bread was the right amount of soft/chewy. The wings were tasty too, cooked perfectly and not dry which is rare for wings in an Asian restaurant if you know what I mean. Overall such a great spot. Spring rolls with vermicelli noodles - 10/10 Well fried, good filling (I believe it's pork?), good amount, great sauce to pour on top, and a very refreshing near salad (rice noodles, lettuce, probably some other vegetables as well, those 2 being the main). They also always sprinkle this spice on top of their dishes (most memorably the pho and the com chien duong chau) which enhances the flavor so much. I love it! Definitely come here. The place is clean with plenty of room and great lighting -- and the entire establishment is food focused. Our server helped with teas and plates and we placed our orders. My girlfriend got sweet and sour chicken for her main meal. It was obvious the food was fresh and the dish had been cooked in fresh oil (and only for a short amount of time). The sauce was delicate and subtle, which allowed the flavor of the tender chicken to shine through. And what a plate! She ended up having leftovers for two days. Although I normally order seafood, I love duck and have it once or twice a year. From the menu, their duck dishes looked fantastic. Our server recommended the Peking Duck, which I had always wanted to try. That dish brought Alice Gatsch with it. She is kind and engaging and introduced how I should properly eat Peking Duck. She walked be through the steps of how to prepare the buns with scallion, cilantro, and sauce. I wish I could convey how tender the duck was and how crispy the skin had been. It was incredible and I somehow cleared my plate (and didn't eat for the rest of the day). We cannot wait to return.
