Service was good. Bubble tea and food was fine. It was a good meal but it wasn't standing out for me. Very homestyle or at least what I ordered seemed that way. I didn't realize there were many styles of hot pot- definitely prefer the Korean style rice crunchiness.
I got U & Tea for takeout, I didn't eat at the restaurant, but everyone was very nice when I went to pick up my order. The stir fried string beans and chicken ho fun noodles were delicious. The noodles were such a good texture and both were seasoned perfectly. I definitely recommend this restaurant! Parking was a little difficult, but there's paid street parking and a little lot around the corner nearby.
Service and food are on point. I had the broccoli and beef with rice and it was delicious. Much better than Panda Express, the beef was tender and the Broccoli still had a slight crunch to it. The restaurant has plenty of space and wait staff are super attentive and caring.
Menu is very large like 8 pages of food I didn't know what I was looking at truthfully but let's get into what matters FOOD Beef ho fun noodles honestly impressed I let the waitress pick what I should get for the noodles her recommendation did not disappoint!! The noodles were juicy cooked perfectly filled with flavor I want to highlight the noodles were filled with flavor it's not a sauce on top making the noodles good it's the noodles them self cooked to perfection beef same thing this isn't a saucy dish this is a dish filled with flavor. Well done I can't expect much more from this 5star dish. Visually I've never seen noodles in this shape before I was thinking the small strings were noodles and they barely gave me any but that's not the case the noodles are different from what I'm used to seeing and plentiful. Brown sugar Tea latte. Ok I mean when you drink boba you're never ready for thoes bobas to hit it taste like a tea that's also a latte that's all that really is Soup buns. Juicy good flavor can't complain about it nothing crazy mind blowing but simple and tasteful so it's perfect Pork pot stickers. When I ordered these I was thinking get something that I know I can fall back on honestly expecting them to be super basic pork pot stickers they actually weirdly enough had a fresh taste to them.... Fresh has a taste! Nothing hard about them the side they cooked them on has that carmelized crispness to it the ingredients weren't just meshed around in it they were put in it there's a major difference. Well done again so far nothing has missed in flavor. CRISPY GARLIC RIBS!! Wow! Is all I need to say about this it's just how do you get so much juice and flavor and still have that crunch! Sweet explosion of flavor hidden behind the crumbs when I look for a food that has an explosion of flavor this is exactly what I'm talking about. Perfectly cooked I ate it to the bone until I was stuffed SERVICE Incredible waitress right when I got there she was ready to take my order whatever I needed the noodles came out after I ordered within 4 minutes after that the other food came out in a decent amount of time AMBIENCE other then this little girl behind me slamming her silverware on her plate and her parents not saying anything about it... it's a cute place pretty hidden no music or anything going on so you can hear everything that's going on with everyone I think that's really the only thing that's missing right now there's just not much going on in here a total of 4 pieces of art on the wall. That's it CONCLUSION I have to give this a 5 star rating the food I ate was not slathered in sauce to make the food taste good the food itself had taste waitress was sweet and helped big time every food I ate here went well with the style of this restaurant they weren't at all trying to follow some kind of crowd with food that they know people will like if they have the food you like they make it the way they belive it should be made I'd take a girl on a date here just please have some kind of music. I'll be back!
Food, as always, so very delicious. Service is usually excellent but the hostess was rude several times and made me feel so uncomfortable I may not return. I came in behind a couple & waited to be seated. While waiting to be seated I saw a sign warning that cars parked in parking lot across street would be towed so I went to move my car. When I came back, I stood a few minutes waiting for hostess to acknowledge me & she didn't. I greeted her since she didn't look up. She was making a drink and told me to wait. I did. The place was pretty empty and there were several small tables by the door so after waiting a few more minutes I asked if I could sit at one of them. She looked annoyed and tossed the menu my way. She was clearly upset with me wanting to sit down, never welcomed me or said a single word of greeting like "your waitress will be over shortly" ... just grumpy! The waitress who took my order and served was far more gracious & kind. This is my usual experience here. There was 7-8 other customers (at 3 other tables) in the dining area that can sit 40-50 & 3 waitresses. Food delivery was prompt but no one came back to give me a bill or box for my food in the 20 minutes I sat there. I tried getting someone's attention several times and finally called out "excuse me" to the hostess watching a tablet screen at the front desk. She looked annoyed when I asked for a check. "You can pay here" she blurted out at me pointing at the front desk, then put her face back into the screen. I didn't have a check to pay, so I was confused. I also needed a box for my food & told her so, at this point having to speak loudly across the restaurant because she wouldn't get up to come speak to me or get my waitress for me. She didn't hear me (or pretended not to understand my request 2x). Then She told me "She will bring you a box!" In an irritated tone, and turned away again! I explained I'd been waiting a few minutes and needed someone to get my waitress so I could ask for a box & a bill. In a huff, she stood up and marched into the kitchen to get me a box. I thanked her loudly for her "kind assistance"! She was so prickly when she dropped off the boxes (still no check) that I didn't even make eye contact with her or thank her. A moment later my waitress wandered by and I asked for a bill. She went to the front cash register and printed one out. The hostess could have done that I assume, but did not? Why? I gave my card and the waitress rang me out politely, brought me a bag, and kindly wished me a nice day. The hostess made no eye contact and went back to her screen. I hope she doesn't get any portion of the service tip I left for my excellent waitress. What a disappointment U & Tea. I've always loved you before today!

Nice cozy place in Bethlehem. Menu is different (in a good way) from your traditional Chinese place. We started off with soup buns and shrimp pot stickers. Both came out quickly, hot and very good. Our 4 entrees were General Tso chicken, seafood noodle soup, teriyaki chicken and chicken hu. All came with white rice. Excellent flavors and large portions. They have something for everyone there, specially drinks and tea also. We will definitely go back. Overall nice change from the normal Chinese takeout menu.
Came here with family during early weekday afternoon and was immediately greeted and seated. The menu was expansive and we ordered a quite a few dishes: (will update with names later). The food? ALL of them were flavorful. Eggplant was tender but not mushy, chicken was delicious, fried rice was well seasoned, milk tea was good, and the fried buns were made fresh to order. We devoured a bunch but still had enough for leftovers. The amount of food for the price was worth it and the service was great, they kept checking in on us (though we were one of 3 groups there). I'd check this spot out if you're in the south side or visiting the colleges around. Plenty of parking in the public lots too (though it is metered at $2.50/hour).
The place is unassuming and clean. Not fancy but clean. The outside is very bland, you have to go in. I had the shrimp dumplings which were absolutely delicious, with the dipping sauce. So good! Then I got the hot pepper pork and asked if for it hot. It was and I'll go back. Service was spot on and friendly too.

Food - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Ambiance - 4/5 Chicken Skewers - tender and well-seasoned. 8.3/10 Pork Pot Stickers - nicely browned and flavorful. 8.2/10 Mala Chicken Noodle - served at room temperature with shredded chicken and a peanut-like sauce. Not quite what I was expecting, but it was good. 7.9/10 Beef Ho Fun - silky rice noodles, juicy beef, and crisp veggies in a delicious sweet soy sauce. Fannn-tastic! I think I found my new favorite menu item. 8.5/10 Service was fast and efficient. The food comes out rather quickly, so if you don't want everything to come out at once, I'd recommend ordering as you go. Anytime anyone asks me where to find the best Chinese food, U & Tea is always the first place I mention. read more

Simply amazing... While most people were indulging in Sunday brunch, my girlfriend wanted Chinese food. As we drove, she read the description for U & TEA and we knew we had to go. The place is clean with plenty of room and great lighting -- and the entire establishment is food focused. Our server helped with teas and plates and we placed our orders. My girlfriend got sweet and sour chicken for her main meal. It was obvious the food was fresh and the dish had been cooked in fresh oil (and only for a short amount of time). The sauce was delicate and subtle, which allowed the flavor of the tender chicken to shine through. And what a plate! She ended up having leftovers for two days. Although I normally order seafood, I love duck and have it once or twice a year. From the menu, their duck dishes looked fantastic. Our server recommended the Peking Duck, which I had always wanted to try. That dish brought Alice Gatsch with it. She is kind and engaging and introduced how I should properly eat Peking Duck. She walked be through the steps of how to prepare the buns with scallion, cilantro, and sauce. I wish I could convey how tender the duck was and how crispy the skin had been. It was incredible and I somehow cleared my plate (and didn't eat for the rest of the day). We cannot wait to return. Alice said she'd be happy to walk me through ordering a truly traditional meal and I look forward to that experience. The staff and food are too fantastic to pass up. Looks are deceiving - this unassuming little door on main opens to an authentic, stick the ribs, experience in yummy! Do not pass by the Chinese sausage fried rice, it's simple yet amazing! Portions are more than generous and nothing was less than spectacular! My new go to! read more

THIS PLACE IS FIREEEE! This place has the most authentic Chinese food in Bethlehem that I have tasted so far. My favorite dish here, for now, is the Braised Pork Ribs. It reminds me of a dish known as "Pai Kuat Fan" in Cantonese cuisine. The sauce that it is in is suBLIME. You can just taste the five-spice in there and it just makes you more and more hungry as you eat it. As you can tell, it was easily part of the clean plate club because it was so damn good. I have also had this dish as take-out and it is still equally as good. In fact, it feels like there is more sauce when they give it to you in take-out. So good. Words cannot describe. String beans were excellent. Normally I do not like string beans specifically but the way it is cooked and the slightly spicy oil that coats it is literal flames. It is cooked with onions which obviously just makes the dish better. The Shrimp Wonton soup was so clean. It is just such a clear and clean broth that the wontons bathe in. It has tasty bok choy. The wontons were cooked perfectly. The Spare Ribs Clay Pot was great. The only down side of this dish is that I just kept wanting to eat but kept burning myself because of how hot this dish stays when it comes out. When you get this, they give you a special clay pot sauce on the side. It just tastes like sweet soy sauce but it is damn perfect paired with this dish. The rice is crisp on the bottom because of the heat. It is like the Socarrat in Paella. It is known as "fan chiu" in cantonese. I am so happy that there is a Chinese place like this here in Bethlehem. This is the first place I am going to bring them when they visit. Also, to top it all off the service is awesome. The waitress was so nice. I have only been there 4 separate times but she recognizes me when I walk in haha. I am not going to rate each dish individually everything here is an 11/10 11/10 would recommend and definitely be coming back very often haha. PLEASE TRY THIS PLACE! You will not regret it. read more
Not only was our food fabulous, but the servers were just wonderful. I had chicken with pine nuts, my daughter had general Tso's chicken, and we shared some dumplings and spring rolls. (We ordered WAY too much food but the Yelp photos were too tempting!) There were lots of Lehigh kids dining and the server asked us if we were there for a college visit. When we said we were, she told us about the kids that come to eat every weekend. She checked back on us often and said she hoped to see us next year. If you find yourself in Bethlehem, don't miss this place--service and food were five-stars+. read more

What a gem! I got the beef noodle soup, chicken skewers, and honey jasmine tea. Everything was excellent from taste to texture! Broth of noodle soup was rich and flavorful. The chicken skewers were smoky and sweet. The honey jasmine tea was very fragrant. All priced very reasonably. Service was excellent, friendly, and attentive. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! read more

The food is okay, I was really expecting to be amazed but I guess it's decent for being in PA .... I also got a boba tea which was good The rice was okay, the pieces that you see is spam... I thought it would've been sausage. But other than that the place was nice, I found parking fairly fast, the process to order online was pretty smooth. My experience here was not negative at all, but the food was just okay. I would definitely come here again to try more items The staff was also friendly read more

Wanted to come here due to the excellent ratings and ended up a little disappointed. The food and bubble tea were okay--nothing to write home about. Bubble tea was definitely made the the powdered mix stuff, no real ingredients. The melon boba tasted like artificial candy. My boyfriend usually loves char siu pork, but what they serve at U & Tea is unremarkable. Texture isn't great and the flavor is just alright. The beef chow fun tasted off and wasn't really stir fried, although that may have been affected by ordering it as take out. The sweet & sour pork was a lot better than what you get at most Chinese restaurants--nice large pieces of pork that you could actually identify as meat. read more
