Still one of the best in Bethlehem township area! Easy to order online, hot, fresh and delicious. Workers are friendly. I have been picking up soup lately which is a great price and comes with some Asian crackers. Definitely hits the spot on these colder days. My two young boys now request the soup and crackers so I order them their own pints and crackers for dipping! Great idea on a night were you are tired and don't want to cook and soup takes only a few minutes and it's ready for pick up. Definitely recommend. read more

I'm now done with this place. I've gone time and time again and tried to give them a chance, this was today's adventure. I place an online order at 2:45 (serioulsy, how many orders can be going in at 2:45....none). I go in at 3:05 to pick it up, and two guys (workers) are looking at me. The one is sitting and eating, the other is kind of walking around the place. "Can I help you?" I reply, "Yes, I did an online order." Silence....they both start moving a bit, but the one eating food says "Chicken Broccolli?" and I say "Yes". "Ok..we'll make it right now" ????????? Am I the _________ that I would have expected them to startmaking it at least at 3pm? Only when I went in to pick it up did they say they would start making the food (and the one guy didn't even get up...he kept eating)...the other guy just kept walking around. I'm literally done with the place and cannot back this business at all anymore. It's one thing to forget an order, to deliberately NOT make someones order because you don't feel like doing it right then is another (and I get that someone is hungry...but serously, both of them take a break at the same time and just leave an order sitting there? Even if they just called the number provided and said it would be long wait, at least I'd be aware). I'm done. I've been screwed by this place several times that I havent even written about and it's usually small stuff, but it all added up and now I hightly regret ever giving my business to them. Best Chinese I've tried in Bethlehem so far. The food is clean and exactly what I was looking for. We ordered Singapore Mei Fun, vegetable lo mein, bourbon chicken, king pao chicken, egg rolls and won ton soup. They were all very good. This evening I picked up an egg roll, fried potstickers, and chicken and broccoli with brown rice. Not knowing which sauce the chicken and broccoli came with, I specified a brown sauce. The egg roll was hot, crunchy, and delicious. I got six or eight good sized dumplings, well fried on one side and soft and tender on the other. The filling and dipping sauce were very good. Finally, the chicken and broccoli with brown rice was well seasoned with very fresh chicken and broccoli. Overall, this was a terrific meal and I look forward to trying more of the menu. read more

I ate here about 7.5 years ago. Shrimp toast and something else, I don't remember what. I wasn't mad, so it must've been ok. Went back a week or so ago. I had been avoiding it because they put peas and carrots in their PFR. I got the pork egg fu young special. Soup or soda. Got the wonton soup. The fu young was friggin' great. That PFR was f'ng STELLAR!! I just picked out the peas and carrots, and that fried rice was friggin' perFECtion! The soup? Meh, whatever. Went back today. Again, the lunch fu young, PFR, wonton soup. I can't TELL you how much better their fried rice is than all the other joints. I've had some shitty fried rice since I moved to this area 10 years ago. The family that runs Happy Wok is nice as can be, pandemic cautious, and they make reeeeally good Chinese American take out. Better than Tung Hing by far, better that Great Wall in Easton. ALWAYS busy. Lunch special is 6.94 with tax. Stellar. OHHH, get the ribs. The bone-on ones. For REAL! This was our first time ordering from Happy Wok and we were very satisfied! The food came quick and it was hot and delicious! We will definitely keep it in the rotation. The Szechuan chicken wasn't that spicy so this is why it got a 4 star review. read more

Note, the rating is based on typical chinese american takeout; if you're looking for authentic regional cuisine this probably isn't the place. This place opened up a few weeks ago right near my house after a beer distributor closed down. It's owned by a chinese family, who are always very happy to see you walk in the door, which is different from some takeout venues. In other words, the service is fast and friendly, even if the owner's grasp of english isn't the best. I'm a very picky eater, so I can essentially relay you both what I eat and what friends and family have had from here. The sesame tofu is fresh and crispy, the general tso's is super tender, and the fried rice and noodle dishes are fantastic. Especially the fried rice, it beats every chinese place i've eaten at hands down, it's perfectly steamed and fried at the same time. The other nice thing is they don't skimp on vegetables like a lot of places do. My dad likes the beef and broccoli, my friend mike and my mom love the chicken and broccoli. My mom says the sweet and sour chicken is awesome. My friend robin is frankly addicted to the bourbon chicken with pork fried rice combo. Some of items on the menu don't have portion sizes, but you pay fair prices for basically a quart or more for the items that don't have a portion size. Stopped here for the first time after many times driving to and from the Park & Ride nearby. I did a takeaway dinner of some house special chow fun and hot and sour soup. Sitting and waiting for my food, they seemed to be very busy. What was I think nice was that they prepared my order faster than some of the call-in orders. Other places, I would wait in line as the orders came in. My good was ready fairly quickly. The people there, perhaps a family, were very friendy. The chow fun was a good qauntity and tasty. Now, I frequent chinese takeaways a lot. My test is the hot and sour soup. There soup is not the best I've had, but it's pretty good. Other places either have no flavor or use too much corn starch making the soup almost syrup-y. I will return to try other offerings. read more

I generally don't write reviews, but I think this stuff is worth mentioning for people looking to eat here. Every employee that prepared my food (2 of them)went from playing with their phone to working in the kitchen. Neither of them washed their hands or wore gloves. Their menu prices are incorrect. I felt I was overcharge so I asked the girl at the register. She told me a different price than what is posted on the overhead menu. She also said I was charged an extra dollar since my order was under $10. Both of these things still didn't add up to the amount I paid. Was the extra dollar because I paid with a debit card? If so, how about telling me there is an up charge for using a card as payment? I would have gladly paid cash, especially to save a dollar. As for the food, it was sub par. The grade F chicken in my order was a turn off for me. First and last time at this place. The Italian place next door is always a sure thing. read more

Triple yum at a great cost! I splurge every other Friday on a lo mein lunch combo with an egg roll . It's is a ton of food that last 2-3 lunches for $8-9 . The quality is good and consistent! The employees are very friendly! Definitely a good addition to Bethlehem Township! read more
