Great food. The General Tso Chicken was different than any other I've ever had on the east or west coast.

A bit pricey but the food is consistently good. They are usually quick too. Same owners for years and they are very friendly.

The food is fresh and delicious here! I can honestly say the fried rice isn't so greasy like other places. We will definitely order again!

We were a group of 4 this evening and all of us were impressed with, not only the prompt service, but also the presentation.

I went into this blind. Did not check the menu before hand so I was not sure what to expect. The…read morerestaurant was very modern and had a sophisticated flare to it while still staying family friendly. I started with the lobster roll bao buns. Creamy lobster on top of nori inside of a light and fluffy bun. It was a fun twist on a classic bite. For the main I ordered the wagyu burger. I ordered it rare and it was not the right call. The burger was so thick that it didn't get a great sear on the outside and was falling apart. I did hear a waitress recommend medium well due to the size and I would definitely suggest that to anyone who tries it. It had a great flavor so I would still recommend you try it. I also ordered the notch fried rice bowl. Chinese sausage, pork belly, peas, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic, broccoli, egg, bean sprouts, togarashi spice, and topped with a dippy egg. This dish was savory, Asian fusion cuisine mixed with something that felt like comfort food. If you go here, this is what I would recommend you try, but their whole menu looked incredible. This is a spot you need to add to your list of places to check out.

Such an exciting restaurant with exceptional food and drink!…read more Our server, Bevin, was absolutely stellar. She knew all of the dishes and adult beverages and successfully helped us navigate choices. The chefs created exceptional dishes of the highest quality with an amazing balance of flavors. My girlfriend and I shared their pork belly wontons and they tasted as if they had just been handcrafted just moments before they were served. The salmon dish at Notch is perfect, light, and beyond tender. The vegetables had also been beautifully prepared and I devoured all of it. My girlfriend loved her burger and fries, which she adored. Our drinks were fantastic as well. Notch also boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere for couples or families, and there is also a bar for those who want something even more casual. We cannot wait to return!

I'm originally from the North NJ, NYC area. Finding the pretentious reviews from some here come as…read moreno surprise. It's one of many reasons for wanting to get the hell out of there! That being said anyone complaining about the price have either never been to the highway robbery trend joints in the city or had someone else foot the bill. The pricing in my opinion is cheap considering the quality and large portions you receive. I'm not a chef or sushi expert. Neither are 99.9% of the annoying "foodies" on here. God I hate that term as much as nails on a chalkboard. Get over yourselves. I've never been disappointed in regards to food or service. I'm a firm believer that some people go into a restaraunt with a chip on their shoulder & their noses pointed up way too high in the air. Bringing unrealistic expectations that if even met they'd still find something to piss about. The service here has always been more than friendly & astute. I don't know the older gentlemans name, I presuime he's the owner. But we typically have him and he's always nice and attentive towards us. On a side note, I like to collect pint glasses that catch my eye. When I inquired if I could purchase one he refused any payment. Took it back & had it washed & gave it to me for free. Again, I'm not a sushi-ghuru. But I've bern to the likes of Nobu & their ilk. And from my experience & that of a good friend whom is a Master Chef, none of them are worth their weight in gold. Which is what they expect you to pay them in. You want to talk about crap service in an overpriced, stuffy atmosphere where you are no more important than a fly on the wall then be my guest. The bottom line is the sushi is to par with the price. If you're broke, then don't eat out. If you're a restaurant snob, then go to the places where it'd be better and cheaper to charter your own boat, catch your own fish, & prepare it yourself. Sogo doesn't deserve a harsh review in my opinion. Perhaps some of it's customers do.

To my surprise, it was even worse than the last time I ordered from here. I ordered the Sogo spice roll. This is supposed to be comprised of spicy king crab in the middle, but it was clearly artificial crab not even prepared spicy style. The avocado in the roll was 90% brown. The other role I ordered was the unbelievable roll, the eel in the middle was very fishy, and if you eat sushi, you know what I mean by an abnormal type of fishy taste, and it was topped with spicy tuna that surprisingly had very little flavor. I attached the pictures of the Sogo spice roll. I used to love this place; what a shame that it has become so disappointing and foremost, inedible.

Simply amazing…read more.. While most people were indulging in Sunday brunch, my girlfriend wanted Chinese food. As we drove, she read the description for U & TEA and we knew we had to go. The place is clean with plenty of room and great lighting -- and the entire establishment is food focused. Our server helped with teas and plates and we placed our orders. My girlfriend got sweet and sour chicken for her main meal. It was obvious the food was fresh and the dish had been cooked in fresh oil (and only for a short amount of time). The sauce was delicate and subtle, which allowed the flavor of the tender chicken to shine through. And what a plate! She ended up having leftovers for two days. Although I normally order seafood, I love duck and have it once or twice a year. From the menu, their duck dishes looked fantastic. Our server recommended the Peking Duck, which I had always wanted to try. That dish brought Alice Gatsch with it. She is kind and engaging and introduced how I should properly eat Peking Duck. She walked be through the steps of how to prepare the buns with scallion, cilantro, and sauce. I wish I could convey how tender the duck was and how crispy the skin had been. It was incredible and I somehow cleared my plate (and didn't eat for the rest of the day). We cannot wait to return. Alice said she'd be happy to walk me through ordering a truly traditional meal and I look forward to that experience. The staff and food are too fantastic to pass up. I highly recommend you make a visit of your own!
