After eating half of it I had to stop because of the super amount of sodium and garlic which made me wonder if was to cover up bad chicken. It was disgusting and I felt ill and had to lay down for a bit waking and wishing I hadn't put this garbage in my body. The beef broccoli was OK, beef was a bit chewy, broccoli was fresh. The special fried rice came with shrimp, crab, pork and chicken. They have been around for YEARS on the Bethlehem side of Hellertown - and years ago we got lots of take out and sometimes delivery from here. Decent fried dumplings and the chicken & brocollis is good IF YOU REMEMBER to ask for it with less sauce (Ask for everything to be made dry and it won't be as greasy.) The food runs a little greasy here. But back in the day it was a cheap, easy fix and an alternative to pizza. read more

The hot and sour soup was terrible--it was sweet like they had loaded it with sugar. We ordered a large bottle of soda for $3.75 and received a 20 oz bottle. Food is excellent and service used to be good, but now when they tell you 30 min wait and it turns out to be over an hour and 25 min. They have gotten to big for the small staff they have now. The only orders they keep getting out are the deliverys. Beeneqtung here for the last 5yrs and unfortunately I won't be any more they are just to many other places that can keep the time slot that they give out. I know to them that really means 40+ mins, so I got there about 40 mins after I called. They didn't have my order. They don't even speak enough English to understand what I was trying to say. I really don't eat too much chinese food, but this place is really good. The food is always fresh and a little less greasy than most in the area. It's your standard fast food chinese place, fried rice, general tso's, and chicken with broccoli. I don't think they get too much credit because of their loaction in the mountains, and if you don't have a car you probably won't get there. But they do deliver. Even if you're going to the Hoyts theater on the same strip they're usually open pretty late and you can always grab a quick bite. Reasonably priced and no attitudes. read more

Although there are not many Take - out choices in this area, we decided to give this place a try. We were pleasantly enjoying our quickly delivered take-out order. It was so easy to go on line, click our choices, pay, give our address, and there our order was delivered hot and delicious. Ordered food from this place as we always do when visiting family in the area. We thought everything was fine until we got home and saw food was wrong, not a problem we called and they said they would deliver the food to us due to the mess up. 45 minutes later I called back and the lady that is always there replied back "if you want your food now come pick it up if not then you have to wait until later," at which point in time they forgot again. The lady was very ignorant over the phone and did not care about their customers! I don't care how good their food is, I will never eat there again! So I asked the lady how much longer till I can bring dinner home to my family but, the lady that got mad like my question interrupted her day. I said ma'am listen did you start my food yet she yelled NO!! So at this point I had a decision to make do I let a Chinese lady talk to me like that or do I sit there and take it.? Well listen here my friends I said I got stuff to do tonight I'm leaving and I stormed out of Number one Chinese. I now realized I have no dinner and I had to go home to an angry wife. I was ordering my food and saw a guy (cook) that was making the food go into the bathroom (that is right by the counter), flush the toilet and come out quickly without washing his hands and go right back to making food (you could hear the toilet still flushing as he was coming out the door). read more
