Came here for lunch as it showed up on my maps under "Chinese food" I was only person inside. No air conditioning. Ordered the chicken and broccoli lunch to eat at the place. It should be renamed broccoli with little chicken. After waiting 18 minutes it was finally brought out to the counter in a "to go" container on a school plastic tray. Tasted good, price was $7.16 for the meal with egg roll and a Snapple so was a good deal. read more

My wife and I order from here 1-2 times a month. We always get the general tso's chicken combo and a crab Rangoon to split. Out of all the take-out Chinese in the area we agree this is the best. They are fast and the food is always hot and ready when we get there to pick it up. It's always consistent too, I haven't had a bad experience here yet. I understand it's not the newest or the nicest restaurant but for what they do, they do it well. I recommend it to my friends and family. It's also a little cheaper than the other restaurants in the area. read more

There is not much to say about China King. It is a pretty generic Chinese restaurant. I went in to get General Tso's Tofu and Veggie Lo Mein and it tasted good enough. The reason I chose to give this a 2 star is because on my way out of the store, I saw couple of flies trapped between the window and the taped up menu. After that I felt pretty disgusted and thinking that I would not want to get this again. However, the food is priced really well with the portion sizes. Again, the flavors are good but the hygienic situation almost deters me to come back. read more

Eh. All the fried food was dripping grease. So, I'd skip that. The lo mein lunch looked sub par but was ok to eat. I didn't finish the rice from being bland. One benefit was that it was super cheap. I have been ordering food from here for the last 10 years. Never have had a problem before until today!! My husband went to pick up our order and was short .71 cents for our order. He didn't take his wallet with him and was using a gift card. He asked if he could give it next time or come back later and they said NO. They wouldn't give us our food over .71 cents. I understand we were short the change, however this is such bad business. As a loyal customer who always tips on top of paying for the order, I was shocked and appalled that they lost a good customer over .71 cents. I will never give them business again because of this. I am shocked that they would lose a loyal customer over change that he volunteered to pay back when he came back. read more

Stopped in here for the first time the other day. Upon walking into the place the haze of smoke was a bit overwhelming. The folks behind the counter were very pleasant and even gave me a free 2-liter of soda! Ordered the General Tso and crab rangoons. The General Tso dish was actually one of the best I've had in the Lehigh Valley! Decent size pieces of chicken, slightly fried and amazing General Tso sauce. Hard to not love it! The crab rangoons with sweet and sour sauce were mediocre but I'd order again. I'm glad I gave China King a try. read more

Stopped in on my way home from work and ordered General Tso's Chicken. The service was polite, the restaurant clean, and most important, the food came out FAST and DELICIOUS! It was really good and I can be critical of the Tso- especially if the chicken is over cooked and tough. This wasn't. It was pretty perfect. It's not the best Chinese food that I've ever had, but it's good. I go there a lot for lunch. Cheap lunch specials. Not a fan of their hot and sour soup which is one of my favorite soups normally. Food comes out very quickly which I appreciate in a place like this. read more

this was our favorite Chinese place and we are kind of picky but now there are different people running it and cooking and it is horrible! So far the best I have tasted in Allentown and Philly area. Coming from NYC, most areas do not have half fried chicken (which bums me out because that's my favorite) but here at this store it came in clutch. My favorite order half fried chicken with chicken fried rice is BOMB!!! Believe it's a tad bit better than I have back at home (NYC). Really am bummed that they do not have a delivery service. But excited to know that I have a go to place to have a lovely order of food. Good to me is t greasy, nor too watery, is cooked as you would want it when u are home. This food is not worth the prices. $50 for 2 club seafood platters and a large sweet and sour chicken. The seafood platter tasted horrible and were mostly vegetables. We order from this restaurant several times a month, and we've never had a bad meal. We almost always order the crab rangoon, sweet and sour chicken or shrimp, General Tso's chicken or shrimp, beef and broccoli, and Hunan beef. The best Chinese take-out we've had in this area. Take-out prices, but solidly good quality. The family that runs the business is friendly and polite. The restaurant itself doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool you: the food is great! read more
