On a wintry day with snow on the ground, some warm Thai food hits the spot. I ordered golden triangle (fried tofu in triangle squares with dipping sauce) as my appetizer. A simple dish but one I still greatly enjoy. Also, I'm seeing less places in MD offer this as an appetizer, so I appreciated that they still offered it. And it was good for what is simply tofu. Hot when it came out, crispy, and had good texture. For my entree, I had pad thai. I asked for medium spicy and this is where I was disappointed. Their medium tasted like mild to me. Next time, I'll have to ask them for maximum spicy level as medium gave me no heat at all. The pad thai was good overall, and was a big portion, but it tasted just good, and the heat would have added a little more to it. For dessert, I had mango with sticky rice. Good, no issues here. The inside has soft lighting and soft music so it definitely works as a place for a romantic dinner for two. Overall, it's a good local thai place here in the heart of Bethlehem PA. read more

Love this little Thai place, they have indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is so kind and even when they are busy, will still come around and make sure that you have enough water and have what you need. They did mention that their pad thai comes with the sauce already added so they are unable to make modifications to it. They were able to change the drunken noodles to fit our dietary restrictions, which was nice. The noodles were cooked perfectly and there were large chunks of tofu in the dish. I visited this establishment with a large group to celebrate a friend's birthday. The parking on Main Street is limited, so we used nearby metered street parking. We visited on a weekend evening and did not make reservations. It was busy but we were seated within 15 minutes. The interior design uses intricate statues and beautiful cultural artwork. I loved how the dim lighting and dark color scheme created a cozy dining experience. For starters, the table ordered curry puffs, Thai dumplings, and Thai chicken lettuce wraps. The curry puffs were savory and filling, the dumplings had a generous amount of meat, and the lettuce wraps were light. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken pad Thai. The dish was not overly sweet and the noodles were perfectly cooked. However, I found that the chicken was a bit dry and the dish was not spicy enough for my liking. I asked the waitress for a side of dry pepper flakes which added a nice heat. I also mentioned that we were celebrating a friend's birthday. She later surprised the birthday girl with a surprise dessert, which was ice cream with artwork. It was an amazing creative that made her night. I've eaten in at Thai Thai II twice and gotten takeout pad see ew multiple times. I've generally been satisfied (although underwhelmed by the vegetarian options) until my visit yesterday. Long story short- there was meat in my vegetarian meal and the staff seemed relatively unbothered about it. First, I think it's important to note that even though it looks like they have a reasonable number of vegetarian dishes, almost all of them have fish sauce and cannot be made without it, so they aren't actually vegetarian. Given that, what's the point of even having the vegetarian section on the menu? It was hard to get a straight answer from the waitress about what could and couldn't be made without fish sauce but after several inquiries with the kitchen, we ordered the tofu and vegetable soup and pad see ew (strangely, not even on the vegetarian section of the menu). While eating, my wife found a piece of meat in the soup (looked like pork to me). The waitress' reaction was just "oh ok, I'll tell the chef to make a new order." No apology, she never mentioned it after, just acted like she had brought us the wrong dish. It was truly off-putting and disappointing. I don't think I'll be back after this experience. read more

Located in downtown we found parking close by in the parking garage since the side streets were full, but it wasn't too bad because it only cost $3 for a few hours. The decor wasn't too extravagant, clean and orderly. They had an extensive menu with all the typical dishes associated with a Thai restaurant. We ordered the ginger duck, thai thai chicken, and the fried rice for my son. The food was delicious and flavorful. The goong pao shrimp is a must-have, extremely fresh and perfectly grilled. And I'd definitely recommend the thai thai chicken which was perfectly fried and flavorful. The other dishes were good, but nothing out of the ordinary for a Thai restaurant. Overall, the prices were a slightly on the higher end, but it was a good meal and would consider coming again. read more

The only restaurant that I'm SURE to go to every time I visit Bethlehem. The food, service, and location are top notch for the Lehigh Valley. First, I love that it's on Main Street in Bethlehem. The appetizer came with about four spring rolls, cut in half. The presentation was nice. They could use a little work as they looked and tasted store bought. The pad Thai, on the other hand, was fresh with a good serving of tofu. The noodles and flavors where exactly what you'd expect and not too spicy. Misleading labeling on the menu. Items in the vegetarian section have meat and are not suitable for vegetarians. For example, all of the curries have fish sauce that cannot be removed. This restaurant needs to improve the accuracy of their labeling and educate their servers on what it means to be vegetarian or vegan. I asked about whether a certain item was vegan, and the server said it was. But when I followed up on whether that item had egg in it, then the server said she wasn't sure if it had egg or not. Despite the mislabeled vegetarian section on the menu, this restaurant does not sufficiently accommodate vegans or vegetarians due to a lack of knowledge and/or consideration. read more
