Friendly prompt service. Very tasty food! Prices are moderate, as can be expected in a nice, walkable, downtown location. Slight slope upward as you walk into the historic building. My dad loved the steak & tripe pho. I enjoyed the shrimp pho. The side of vegetables to be added to the soup included lime, jalapeño, bean sprouts. There was no basil today. But it was all good! We started the meal with shrimp summer rolls as our appetizer, but ate them too quickly to get a photo taken of them. The peanut dipping sauce was yummy. We parked on the street at a parking meter. This is a nice neighborhood to walk around either before or after your meal. Right next to the theater. We took a peek in the grocery store next-door (owned by the same family) and found bok choy, dragon fruit, lychee, coconut for drinking, and lots of ingredients you would want for doing your own Vietnamese cooking. We were going to the State Theater to see a show and stopped in for a quick bite of food. My 10 yo daughter loves pho so this was a no-brainer. The inside is quite nice. Nothing fancy, but modern and clean. We were in a bit of a time crunch so I didn't spend too much time looking at the menu. We ordered dumplings, chicken pho, and shrimp pho. Service was quick; we were in and out. Dumplings are fried, I didn't see if there was a steamed option. I prefer them steamed, but not their fault. Filling was flavorsome. My daughter liked the chicken pho, she liked it, but said the place we go to at home was better. The shrimp pho was good, broth was well developed. They give a nice portion of shrimp, which was nice. Let me start by saying if you like Vietnamese food, DO NOT EAT HERE. Firstly, the typical fish sauce dipping sauce that comes with the spring rolls was terrible, not sure what it was. The I ordered the same Pho I get everywhere, Fatty Brisket and meatballs. The brisket was gray and there were only a few pieces for the whole thing, I've never gotten such a skimpy order. The bag that comes with it with the bean sprouts, jalapeños, basil, and limes was the size of a kids snack bag. There was literally 4 pieces of Basil in it. I've never seen such skimpy portions. You'd think it was for a cereal size bowl not a Pho sized bowl. We will not be coming here again. read more

The neighborhood just went up 1000 points! Don't walk there: run!!! They just opened and it was already packed, that says something. The entire order was simply delicious, the service is top notch, the waitresses are efficient and sweet. We are so lucky Easton now has a proper Vietnamese restaurant, that definitely rivals the best places in Manhattan. - to those hateful reviews you'll read below: keep in mind that the restaurant hasn't been opened for 5 days yet and it was flooded with people since day one. I think they are doing pretty well given it is run by a family and it's rather a big place for such a small group. If you look at their windows, they are desperately trying to hire more staff, it looks like they didn't expect that it would be packed everyday like that... Again, for those leaving hurtful reviews: remember thay you are impacting someone's livelihood and your own micro economy. What if you waited a little while longer than those restaurants that have been around for 2 years or more? At least give them a chance to be around instead of knocking them down with 1 star reviews amd if you really want do it: don't go and complain later than there aren't enough places to go to.. read more

Great flavor and very fresh tasting. Had the broken rice and Pho and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their Hot Oil is also amazing. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely worth the time and will be coming a lot more. Finally a good Vietnamese place in the area. All the gas money saved will be spent on their menu. I am unfair because I have tasted the best. I am not one of those "local guides" Zagat-wannabe. I am not here to nick-pick and thrash. So, the family I know were refugees from Vietnam. They came to this country after the fall of Saigon. I was fortunate to have tasted the best Pho. Everything thereafter can only be judged against that standard. Now the food. I had the large Pho. The serving was generous for that was the first time I couldn't finish all the noodles. However, the broth is a bit too light to me. My wife who had similar bowl thought it was just right. The spring rolls were very crispy outside and done right. The place looks new, probably it has been renovated not long ago. I like the place to improve and succeed. I know restaurant business is a tough one. I put myself through college working at many restaurants. I know the hardship. I saw young patrons and those more adventuresome types. I will frequent this place once in a while and I will tell my friends about it. read more

Though I can only give this place 3 stars, it is probably the best option for pho in the Lehigh Valley. The goi cuon is legit. The peanut sauce is on point, unlike the other places around here that try to pass a hoisin sauce as a real peanut sauce. They have pork and shrimp in the roll which is how it should be done. My issue is with the pho. Though the cuts of beef are nice and the portions are sizable for the price, the broth is way too oily. They need to skim the broth much much more as it simmers. It was hard to eat half way in as the oil filled me up by itself. The cafe sua da is also mostly creame/ condensed milk and very little coffee. The ratio is off. I would come back but I'll try the other items on the menu as they have very well thought out and authentic Vietnamese dishes available. read more

I've been here before for shrimp summer rolls because they were reasonable and good. This visit was with friends that love Vietnamese food. The place was very clean throughout, even the restrooms. It was early into the night so seating was no problem and comfortable. We started with a couple of orders of shrimp summer rolls and they were just as tasty as my last visit. Every thing was fresh. Three went for various Phos and I settled for the Bun Dac Biet. Mine was great, the freshness, the flavorings and sauces available. The Phos must of been good because they ordered the large and gulped them down. On our way home from a trip my family and I were looking for someplace to eat a late lunch. We thought it would be nice to find a Vietnamese place to eat at. In my search I found the Vietnamese Noodle House in Easton, PA so we all agreed to eat there. We found a place to park along the curb and walked down a little ways to the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were a variety of things to eat on their menu, but we all chose a large bowl of Pho with a combination of meats from the menu or you can create your own combination. We also had the spring rolls as appetizers before the soup. The prices were reasonable and I would eat here again next time I am in the area. read more

My boyfriend and I have been waiting for this restaurant to open for months now since we walk around downtown frequently. We finally got a chance to grab some lunch and we were not let down! The pho was very good! (I thought the broth was a little bland but overall it was good!) I am not sure if they expected to have as many customers as they did today but the service was a little slow but not unbearable or anything! They just seemed slightly understaffed but that can easily be fixed! I would give 5 stars but because of the slightly bland broth and slow service I will take off one star. This place surprised me in the best way possible. I have been a Vietnamese food nut for many years discovering its sublime nature in Silicon Valley in the 1980's. My neighbor mentioned that he just tried Vietnamese Noodle House and said it was good so I went down to order a bowl of Pho. I was thrilled to see all the old familiar choices all to my hearts desire. I was sold on that alone. It was great, a beautiful broth, perfect noodles, and all the fresh mix ins-- so delicious. The food is GOOD, but not nearly the best in the area. The service sucks. I waited 20min with two open tables to be seated, and 50 minutes for our PHO and they were both the wrong orders. Meanwhile there are 3 other couples sitting in the front waiting for at least 30 minutes with 3 open tables. I also had to ask 2x for a water refill before it came out, and when the pho got here, I had to ask for bean sprouts, jalapeños and limes.. it was good and I'll probably try again when they're open a little longer....but...ugh. read more
