inchworm in my tofu dish. i used to love this place but don't think i can order from here anymore.

i ordered a tofu chili basil through grubhub and found what appears to be an inchworm cooked into my dish. i am utterly disgusted and struggling to hold down the initial bites i had. used to love this place but wont be able to order again.

This place is like Heaven on earth so so friendly and helpful and you just have to experience the pleasure your self your taste bud will thank you so Heavily atmosphere it's truly truly incomprehensible how delicious and wonderful this place what you waiting for this place is out of the world. You will never experience a place like this in the universe.

Everyone has told me about this place but last night was the first time I've ever gone. What a nice little gem in the heart of Phillipsburg! It's like a romantic oasis located in a strip mall. I was surprised and impressed! Super clean. Super roomy. And great service! GREAT service! We ordered a couple of things from Tom Kha to Coconut Rice. Everything was perfect! And the price was right too! Only one snag...since it was an hour to closing AND they were closed the next day, they didn't have any jasmine rice.

Amazing find! Generous portions! Good was great. Quick service and the customer service was awesome! Waiters were attentive. Will be coming back! Thanks!

Peaceful vibe in beautiful restaurant during mid-afternoon lunch. Love that chicken satay is made with chicken breast and charred good. Chicken can get dry when prepared that way. Peanut sauce goes long way to make dry chicken breast taste better. Papaya salad was good. Dressing was watery.

Drunken Noodles, Thai Iced Tea, Chicken Dumplings

Came in from PA just to try this place after a friend's recommendation. Everyone was very pleased. - Drunken Noodles: Taste was solid but wasn't mind blowing - Thai Iced Tea: Standard and tasty. I just wish I could mix the milk since it's fun to watch it swirl. Straws on every drink were very unique though - Chicken Dumplings: the sauce reminded me of a eel sauce/soy sauce that was sweet and a little thick in consistency. Nice little appetizer with the lunch menu - Atmosphere: lots of plants inside and outside and an overall clean place - Pricing: Not huge portions but very affordable. Lunch menu cost was ~$10 which was awesome The plating of the food/drinks are very aesthetically pleasing and tasty. Service was great and extremely friendly. Pricing is good. Would definitely come again. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Pricing: 5/5

Basil fried rice with shrimp - so tasty with some heat!

We came here for my granddaughters birthday dinner (her choice second year in a row) it's one of her favorite restaurants! She loved the pink drink, her standard pho with tofu, golden triangles, and they brought out a flaming ice cream for her birthday desert. The food is consistently delicious, wait staff is also consistent...so one of our regular go to restaurants! Nice indoor & outdoor seating. It's byob so bring a bottle for a special occasion.

Best Thai in the Phillipsburg area. Not everything is a home run, but there are number of very strong menu options.

The thai bubble tea was very good. I was pleased with how fresh and soft the tapioca bubbles were. It was too easy to drink it all! The sushi pizza was also very good. I liked the combination of flavors and the sweet potato was a new touch to the dish for me. It tasted very fresh and had good flavors. It was my favorite out of everything I tried. The tuna avocado roll and Philadelphia roll were good as well. The fish tasted fresh. The rolls that had sliced fish tasted much better than the mixed/blended fish rolls. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon roll tasted a bit stale. Both had the "crunchy" pieces mixed in. The crunchy pieces itself weren't crunchy and it is was seemed to bring down both the taste and overall texture. I think the rolls would have been much better without it. As for the spicy mayo, it was hands down the best spicy mayo I've had. Extremely flavorful and perfectly seasoned.

This place always intimidated me because from the outside, it just looks like someone's house. A brownstone on the corner of a busy street with plain signage. But I'm glad I tried it. And just like the outside, when you walk in, the restaurant is like walking into someone's house. Pictures of iconic Thai people are hung on the walls and above the fireplace. Trinkets and Lunar New Year decor. Small statues and figurines. It's just like home. Warm and cozy and dare I say, romantic. I MUST come back at night on Date Night. For it's age, the place is immaculate. Even behind the radiator pipes. Not a spec of dust on the floor. I got the standard Pad Thai because I like yo have a baseline. It was good. Not as saucy as I'd like but tasty nonetheless. Really cheap with the peanuts but super generous with the tofu. And I'm soooo happy they fry the tofu. Everything was fresh and the spice level was on point. Prices were good and the portion was big. I must come back! Just a word of caution it's street parking almost near the circle so spaces are sparse. Pack your patience on a weekend.

They clearly know what they're doing but may be best to make it Thai medium and offer additional spices.

I've been coming to Pru Thai in downtown Clinton for years, and it is by far my favorite Thai…read morerestaurant in the area! First and foremost, you can't beat Pru Thai's gluten-free options. There are so many dishes I can enjoy that I rarely find gluten-free at other restaurants, including the crispy Chicken Tamarind and the fried calamari with sweet chili sauce. The gluten-free Crying Tiger Beef is another favorite of mine. It's flavorful, tender, and consistently delicious. I can't recommend it enough! They also have plenty of great vegetarian and vegan options, with tofu and vegetables available in a variety of dishes. I especially recommend the Pad Garlic and Pad Basil. The portions are generous for the price, and the food has been consistently delicious throughout the years I've been coming here. Service is always quick, and the staff is incredibly kind. Rose, in particular, is so sweet, warm, and welcoming! The atmosphere is cute and casual during the day and becomes a little more intimate at night with the darker mood lighting. I've also visited their Lambertville location, which has a really cute, chic, trendy atmosphere, but when it comes to the food, Clinton is still my favorite. I ordered the Crying Tiger Beef in Lambertville as well, and while it was good, the Clinton version was noticeably more flavorful. Pru Thai is easily one of my favorite local restaurants and one I come back to again and again. Amazing food, wonderful service, and some of the best gluten-free options around. 10/10. I can't recommend it enough!

Both my daughter and youngest granddaughter are gluten intolerant, and have eaten here before. This was a take-out order, and was ready in 10 minutes. We ordered a chicken pad thei, the chicken kabobs, crying dragon entree, pineapple rice, and two orders of fried tofu. The extra to our order was the peanut sauce, which my daughter said was very good. However, a few minutes after eating was when both of them expressed stomach discomfort. We can only assume that the peanut sauce has an ingredient containing gluten - such as the soy sauce. My food was good, but I wouldn't say it was great. My second granddaughter enjoyed her pineapple rice. Notsure if I would go out of my way to return.
