Very nice ambience, excellent food and service, and very reasonably priced. It's both casual and classy.

Ordered Pad Thai and dumplings. Both were very good, dumplings just a little dry but dipped in sauce they were good.

Okay, so this place is a hidden gem FOR SURE. I highly recommend the drunken fried rice as the flavors just blend perfectly together in your mouth . The inside decor is adorable as well. I say keep your eyes peeled when driving down Northampton or you may miss out on some excellent Thai food right here in Easton. We also got the chicken pad Thai and the green stir fry dish...and the sauce for the stir fry is pure perfection. Also, big bonus for the food promptly being brought out that you can still see it steaming hot. I definitely will be returning !

I travel for work often and Thai food is my go to dinner, especially in a new town because it's often consistent. I arrived around 6:30pm to 1001 Thai and waited at the "please wait to be seated" sign for a solid 5 minutes before I decided to walk toward the kitchen to be greeted by a server. The restaurant only had two other tables seated. The only server, a young guy, while very polite and nice was painfully slow. I was sat directly next to the other two-top in the room and was forced to listen to a couple suck on their fingers from the wings. Shortly after they finished their appetizer they asked the waiter to reach out to who I can only assume is the owner. He came downstairs from watching tv and sat down to eat white rice with soy sauce and an iced tea. Super odd. Then he proceeded to tell the couple about his day and dropped the "F" word pretty loudly in the quiet restaurant. I'm not a prude but in this situation, sitting directly next to his table I felt a little uncomfortable. Throughout dinner he continued to tell stories about his childhood that from an outsiders perspective would have been better kept to his personal life. After ordering I waited about 30 minutes for my garlic chicken stir fry. It seemed like it took forever for Thai food, especially considering how empty the restaurant was. The food is the silver lining here, it was super flavorful. The garlic flavor was forward without being overpowering, and sweet yet salty. I've never been to Thailand so I can't speak to it's authenticity but I've eaten my fair share of Thai food across the US. I would consider coming back with the expectation that the service is very slow. Funny enough, the owner actually turned around and asked how my dinner was. I was honest and shared how the situation was pretty odd and uncomfortable. He seem surprised that anyone was playing attention, it's not that I was actively listening but he wasn't quiet. I was half expecting him to lose his cool but to his credit he didn't get upset and took the feedback. I did tell him that the food was very good. For those considering this restaurant I'd recommend ordering takeout! It's a cute place but unless you want a long drawn out Thai meal you should try somewhere else.

On the outside is a quaint house but on the inside is a very nice restaurant with friendly service. After choosing our seats we were greeted by our waiter right away. He didn't rush us but was very attentive. We also enjoyed good conversation from Dean (Co owner of the restaurant. The delicious authentic Thai food along with the conversation, vibe and attentiveness of the staff at 1001 Thai made our lunch a pleasant experience. Please make sure you stop by Easton's hidden gem.

My favorite Thai place of all time! It's BYOB and fabulous to sit outside with a bottle of wine. The inside is small but with a very cute ambiance. Start is very friendly and gives great recommendation. Chicken pad Thai was a great choice for first time Thai goers. The shrimp fried rice with pineapple is delicious as well! Large portions and good pricing! Make a reservation but they also do take out!

SIMPLY WONDERFUL! This corner restaurant in an old Victorian home is a gem. The dining area is small so a reservation is highly recommended. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and immediately seated. The service was top notch. The server was very attentive throughout the evening. With the restaurant being so small, we felt as if we had our own private chef. The food was excellent. It is BYOB - wine opener and glasses were provided. We are so delighted we finally had a meal here. It's a fantastic choice for delicious Thai food and excellent service. We will return.

I usually don't choose to go to Thai restaurants, but a friend suggested this place. We went to eat a really early dinner. This tie food restaurant is a little gem! The inside is so so pretty. Kinda just deceiving from the outside! I was surprised at how nice it looks inside - it's really classy looking. This place was great. The food was fresh, the atmosphere was quiet and authentic, the prices were fair, and the servers were friendly and always coming by for water refills. One of my top favorite Thai food restaurants here in the Lehigh Valley I have taken my mother here, when she visited from California and she loved the drunken noodles. I highly recommend! And if you're worried about spiciness you can always ask for spice on the side and add what do you look like. I would definitely come back here.

That being said anyone complaining about the price have either never been to the highway robbery trend joints in the city or had someone else foot the bill. The pricing in my opinion is cheap considering the quality and large portions you receive. I'm not a chef or sushi expert. Neither are 99.9% of the annoying "foodies" on here. God I hate that term as much as nails on a chalkboard. Get over yourselves. I've never been disappointed in regards to food or service. I'm a firm believer that some people go into a restaraunt with a chip on their shoulder & their noses pointed up way too high in the air. Bringing unrealistic expectations that if even met they'd still find something to piss about. The service here has always been more than friendly & astute. I don't know the older gentlemans name, I presuime he's the owner. But we typically have him and he's always nice and attentive towards us. On a side note, I like to collect pint glasses that catch my eye. When I inquired if I could purchase one he refused any payment. Took it back & had it washed & gave it to me for free. Again, I'm not a sushi-ghuru. But I've bern to the likes of Nobu & their ilk. And from my experience & that of a good friend whom is a Master Chef, none of them are worth their weight in gold. Which is what they expect you to pay them in. You want to talk about crap service in an overpriced, stuffy atmosphere where you are no more important than a fly on the wall then be my guest. The bottom line is the sushi is to par with the price. If you're broke, then don't eat out. If you're a restaurant snob, then go to the places where it'd be better and cheaper to charter your own boat, catch your own fish, & prepare it yourself. Sogo doesn't deserve a harsh review in my opinion. Perhaps some of it's customers do.

To my surprise, it was even worse than the last time I ordered from here. I ordered the Sogo spice roll. This is supposed to be comprised of spicy king crab in the middle, but it was clearly artificial crab not even prepared spicy style. The avocado in the roll was 90% brown. The other role I ordered was the unbelievable roll, the eel in the middle was very fishy, and if you eat sushi, you know what I mean by an abnormal type of fishy taste, and it was topped with spicy tuna that surprisingly had very little flavor. I attached the pictures of the Sogo spice roll. I used to love this place; what a shame that it has become so disappointing and foremost, inedible.

The thai bubble tea was very good. I was pleased with how fresh and soft the tapioca bubbles were. It was too easy to drink it all! The sushi pizza was also very good. I liked the combination of flavors and the sweet potato was a new touch to the dish for me. It tasted very fresh and had good flavors. It was my favorite out of everything I tried. The tuna avocado roll and Philadelphia roll were good as well. The fish tasted fresh. The rolls that had sliced fish tasted much better than the mixed/blended fish rolls. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon roll tasted a bit stale. Both had the "crunchy" pieces mixed in. The crunchy pieces itself weren't crunchy and it is was seemed to bring down both the taste and overall texture. I think the rolls would have been much better without it. As for the spicy mayo, it was hands down the best spicy mayo I've had. Extremely flavorful and perfectly seasoned.
