This is a nice place to get sushi in the area. We were welcomed once entering and seated immediately. The woman working was quick with service and attentive. The thai bubble tea was very good. I was pleased with how fresh and soft the tapioca bubbles were. It was too easy to drink it all! The sushi pizza was also very good. I liked the combination of flavors and the sweet potato was a new touch to the dish for me. It tasted very fresh and had good flavors. It was my favorite out of everything I tried. The tuna avocado roll and Philadelphia roll were good as well. The fish tasted fresh. The rolls that had sliced fish tasted much better than the mixed/blended fish rolls. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon roll tasted a bit stale. Both had the "crunchy" pieces mixed in. The crunchy pieces itself weren't crunchy and it is was seemed to bring down both the taste and overall texture. I think the rolls would have been much better without it. As for the spicy mayo, it was hands down the best spicy mayo I've had. Extremely flavorful and perfectly seasoned. read more

Went here with my family on a Monday afternoon for lunch. We had the 3 roll special, sushi pizza, and the thai bubble tea. We were surprised by how fresh the salmon and tuna tasted! You can not beat this place when it comes to the flavor and this lunch price! The thai bubble tea was also very good. The bubbles were soft and sweet, and the thai tea was tasty! It did not give off any syrup or powdered flavor like some of the other sushi places. One star was taken off because the crunch on the spicy rolls wasn't fried enough, so it wasn't crunchy. Other than that, the service was quick, and the ambiance was nice. Overall, this was a good choice for lunch. read more

I was really craving sushi and just discovered this place on Yelp. Ordered takeout on their website, it was super easy and ready when I requested. The sushi was awesome. It really hit the spot and we will definitely be ordering from here again. We ordered the Tuna tataki, sashimi appetizer, yellow tail roll, kamikaze roll, spicy scallop roll, deluxe roll, A1 roll, and dancing salmon roll. They were all good. I was completely surprised by this place. First off the decor is clean, simple and yet elegant, warm and inviting. The menu doesnt try to be more than it is. It is mostly sushi and i had a hard time choosing. I started off with a Tuna Takati. Perfectly cooked and dressed in a light savory sauce. It brought out the natural tuna flavor. Located in the Joe Food Mart Plaza only 5 minutes away from Target in Phillipsburg is a gem of a sushi place! Having just opened in early September 2019 my fingers are crossed this location picks up business and becomes a staple! My one complaint with this area of NJ had been a lack of authentic fresh sushi, but looks like that complaint is over! Their menu is diverse and building with bubble tea on the way as per the owners. Orders prepared fresh and to order - the flavors were all incredibly fresh and just as you'd expect from top notch sushi! As a former NYC commuter I can say I have enjoyed quality sushi and this is right up there with the best I have had. The price is right as well! I really enjoyed the ginger dressing on the salad as well - it's hard to find one not overpowering in sesame oil and this one was very well balanced. The rolls were all excellent and the fish was so fresh! I am also very pleased to report the bathrooms were all very clean as well which is a huge indicator for food cleanliness to me. A+ from me on this new place!!!! If you love sushi give it a shot and I am so excited it's so close to the Phillipsburg shopping area!
