I am happy to say this restaurant moved into the new shopping plaza and has reopened. It's good to have decent Chinese food available again. I was making a drive to lopatcong to get good Chinese food. This is much more convenient! I have eaten takeout from yummy house multiple times. I have had both Chinese and Thai takeout. Disgusting!! The table was sticky. But I let that pass. Ordered shrimp fried rice with pineapple. They came out with something they scraped off the stove and drenched it in CATCHUP!!!!! When I asked them to take it back they made me fried rice the way you would expect. But they charged me for the second order!! So I paid $25 for fried rice!!! Never again! I literally only have extremely good things to say about this place. We ordered take out and the food was done pretty quickly, which is always great. The service was phenomenal, everyone was really friendly. I don't think I've had such good Thai food in a while. The food was so flavorful and rich. Everything tasted fresh. We ordered chicken fried rice, tofu fried rice, vegan dragon noodles with vegetables and the green curry with tofu. Everything was very good and the portions were great as well. I don't think I've ever tried dragon noodles so I was very excited for that dish. I was not disappointed because I truly enjoyed everything. If you want general, sesame, or orange chicken and want exactly the same sauce on all three with seeds sprinkled on one and orange peel put by the other this is the place for you. The fried rice has no pork in it as well. If they improve with learning how to make different sauces and adding pork to their wanton soup and fried rice it would be a big improvement. read more

Tried to order 2 lunch specials without rice. The cashier refused to abide, citing that I had to order from the regular menu to be able to omit the rice from my order. However ridiculous this seemed, the cashier was extremely firm. (I was hungry and not many places were open). I wanted soup and that came with it, I reluctantly placed the order.There were just two choices of soup on the lunch special. Egg-drop and Won-ton.I got two Won-ton soups. When I got home I discovered that each special was three quarters rice, which I promptly threw out.(wasted food) The Won-ton broth had a strange taste and had to be tossed. The Shrimp with garlic sauce was edible, but not much to eat. The sesame chicken was orange with no sesame seeds, and one tiny piece of broccoli. It was the worst. Seemed like hot and sour sauce was put on fried breading. I do not recommend this place, and will NEVER go back, hungry or not! read more

The Hot 'n Sour soup was broth, not the usual thicker soup you get in almost every Chinese restaurant, and the Shrimp Roll was the smallest Shrimp Roll I've ever seen And not even close to Good! $34.00 worth of food that was pretty much thrown away. Yummy House is the best in Warren county. It is family owned and run they are very friendly and this also it the cleanest Thai, Chinese restaurant I have been to. Not only is everything on the menu delicious! They also offer great Thai food.
