Other than more water and requesting a second bowl of rice (which was gladly provided at no fee), I went through pretty much the entire gigantic platter in one go. That. is five stars. My mother said chicken and mixed vegetable was 5 stars delicious. The only flaw was too much starch in the sauce, but a review later confirmed that traditional Chinese sauce does use a lot of starch. Authentic through and through. And if you couldn't tell from this, service is also gourmet. You are greeted immediately, escorted straight to your seat, and water appears. Utensils appear. WIth the size of this restaurant and the population ordering inside, there is almost always a staff member walking by your table. If they don't notice you need something, all you have to do is signal or ask, and it will be yours. Chopsticks. More water. More rice. To-go container. Young, old, different dress, we had at least 8 different people come by at some point for something. Spectacular. Out came the bill. In the end, it wasn't all that much for the quantity and quality of food that we got. Now I'm forewarned next time I come: bring my appetite. And more people to share all the food. Join me.
