The food is just outright excellent! The staff is very accommodating and willing to please every request. I have never been let down whether I ordered take out, delivery or eating in the establishment. The potions and quality did not waiver. It seems like they do a high volume of takeout from what I've noticed when visiting It's just refreshing to me that I can dine in or take out and every time it's been consistent. I make sure at least a few times a month I eat here. I just love the pho, summer rolls, clay pots to name a few items. Their Pho broth is authentic and the flavor to die for. I also enjoy their hot tea. It comes out in metal pot and hot. Open it up to what's inside and it's real loose leaf tea with sticks and everything. Ahhhh so good ! Last year I would have given this place a four-star rating. It was good pho, as good as you could get without going to Philly. Service was good. In a more recent visit, the broth was lukewarm and the service was SLOOOOW. IMHO, the ownership has gotten complacent since the restaurant's good days. This place needs at least a few more servers. Excellent flavor at the hole in the wall pho restaurant. I've had pho all over the country and this was one of the best broths I've had. I recommend the bun bo hue (spicy soup) but would sub out the noodles to pho noodles. Meat was tender and serving the was perfect size. I really wanted to like this place because they had a solid menu and the decor is reminiscent of the A1 pho restaurants in Houston. I had high hopes given the complete desolate Vietnamese cuisine landscape in the Lehigh Valley. Maybe I came in too hot with too much hype in my head but either way these are real critiques that made the experience sub par. I ordered the 2 standard items that you judge every Vietnamese restaurant by: (1) Gi cun; (2) Pho Dac Biet. The gi cun were on the smaller side and limp meaning the rice paper was not high quality. The peanut sauce was watery and needs to be much thicker and heavier. This was a total fail when you also realize that authentic gi cun should always come with shrimp AND pork. The pho dac biet did not fair much better. The soup is luke warm and tasted sweeter than it should be. The cuts of meat were decent but the one factor that destroyed my entire experience is the noodles were either the completely wrong type or they cut their noodles. I have never been to any Vietnamese restaurant where they cut their noodles. I could've ate the entire bowl with just a spoon and not use chopsticks at all. The only reason this has 2 stars is because the staff is great here. Friendly and attentive. I want to come back and blame this on the usual adjustments a new restaurant has to make, but cutting their noodles is just unacceptable. Also, another reason this has 2 stars is because they literally cannot suck worse than Pho #1 down the road. Compared to that restaurant every Vietnamese restaurant in the world starts with 2 stars as a base. read more

I order the pho special with all the meat in it, and my wife order the eye round pho. Let me tell you the flavor is not there at all, it was more sweet instead of beer flavor, also less meat. Amazing soups! My go to place for pho in the area, especially because there are vegetarian and vegan variants of their pho, so it keeps everyone happy. They are affordable and for ten bucks of soup you get quite a lot, pretty much what you'd expect for a pho place but nothing puny. One meal can feed two people if you're not hungry. But let's be honest...if you're on Yelp are you ever feeling anything other than ravenous? So give this place a chance and you won't regret it. You can also drop off any mail at the USPS next door. Recently had Pho Viet Royal and the food was good. Ordered the summer rolls, my daughter complained that there was cucumber in it but it didn't stop her from eating both rolls. In her words, "It's not supposed to have cucumber in it but it was still good.". Go figure. Son also had an order of summer rolls which he inhaled. And an order of the grilled pork rice vermicelli. The rest of us ordered the Pho Royal which was very good. I was actually able to taste the various spices in the broth, something I've never tasted before. Portions were more than filling. Only complaints: the lunch menu is only for eat in (nothing indicating that) & the sriracha & hoisin sauces were missing. Other than that food was great. We'll definitely be back. read more

Restaurant itself is beautiful. Clean, bright. We ordered pho and spring rolls for take out. Because of it being take out, everything was packed separately. The pho had wonderfully flavored broth, the meat packed separately, the noodles as well, a bit shy on the basil and bean sprouts. Overall very tasty and reasonably priced. The spring rolls however were not the best. They were skimpily filled and mostly vegetables as opposed to the usual pork, vermicelli and shrimp. We generally go to places in Philadelphia, but as we were in Allentown for a Dr,. appointment ,decided to give it a try. Definitely quite good but there is much room for improvement. read more

First week of this brand new restaurant being opened. I am a Pho junkie. It is my favorite food, my number one meal. This being the second Pho restaurant to open on my side of town, this was a must try as soon as possible. The restaurant space was brand new, clean, and very inviting. There are about 30 tables. This is great news, because the other Pho place in town has about 5 tables, and gets overwhelmingly busy quickly and often. I ordered my dish with all the trimmings, literally: fat brisket, eye round, flank, tendon, tripe, and meatballs. My son ordered the same, but he held back on the connective tissue and the bovine stomach chamber lining. The bowl arrived quickly and steaming. Pho should be served piping hot, as some of the beef cuts are thrown in raw, and must cook in the broth. This also helps to soften up the tendon into a "beef jello" and is much easier to chew. The broth from pho shop to pho shop is unique and different. This broth was very yellow. It did not have a powerful aroma of star anise, or any other standard pho herb. The broth was rich with the charred onion taste, and surprisingly buttery. I added the usual condiments that were on the table, and I did ask for fish sauce, chili oil, and sambol sauce. The basil, limes, recao fresh jalapenos, and sprouts were all washed and fresh. I found it odd that they offer pickled jalapenos on the table as a condiment. I have eaten pho all over the east coast and this was a first. Overall I give the soup a 3.5 out of 5. The broth was non distinct for me. It was good, but not over the top in any way. The cuts of beef were of good quality and plentiful. This is a good beginner place for Pho in my opinion. Some of the other restaurants that are on the top of my list are heavy on the star anise, cinnamon, cardamon or otherwise. I happen to prefer those broths. My son thoroughly enjoyed it as well. He very much enjoyed the mango bubble tea, which was very fresh -- he loves bubble teas. There is plenty of parking, and there are plenty of tables. The staff was excellent and very attentive. The menu is very extensive, and I believe reasonably priced. read more

This place has good food .. we ordered the deep fried rolls and the summer rolls.. both were delicious.. we both ordered Bun thit nuoung.. not sure about the spelling .. sorry .,, rice noodle with grilled pork, chicken and vegetables ., pour fish sauce over it., this is one of our favorite dishes .. my only negative was that the fish sauce needed to be stronger., server was fantastic .. I believe his name was Justin . ( I suck at remembering names ). I had high hopes for this place. Went here a a handful of times and it just wasnt cutting it. Pho Bowl in Bethlehem is much better - may be small but the food and service is great. I had a couple of dishes here- pho, spicy beef soup, rice dishes, summer rolls and the flavor wasnt there. The soups did not have much flavor and was salty. The rice dishes were ok. The summer rolls weren't rolled tight so after the first bite, the filling just falls out. The service was also poor, there's lots of screaming across the room from the staff. And I've been to plenty of whole in the walls Vietnamese places and had better service there. The space is nice and big so there's usually a table available. But not worth going since the food is ehh. read more

We were looking forward to the opening of this new Vietnamese restaurant in our new neighborhood, and it did not disappoint! We ordered take-out and tried four appetizers, the shrimp summer, pork autumn and chicken winter rolls, which were all delicious. We also ordered the steamed dumplings which were different from the dumplings we are used to in chinese restaurants, slimmer and with less filling but still tasty, especially with the dipping sauces. Next up was the Special Vermicelli, which had shrimp, chicken, and beef in addition to veggies and noodles. Fresh and tasty with the sauces. Next time will eat in and try the Pho. First the waiter brought my order wrong and when i try to tell him , he just give me a attitude and if that not worst , The waiter spill fish sauce all over me and my husband and didn't apologize and just walk away . No one fix the problem , after that no one came to check on us , our waiter stop coming .
