Wanted to find something quick, but quality after back to back soccer games in the rain until 9pm. When we arrived they were starting to clean up for the night, but were happy to let us sit down for a meal. The place was cozy and pretty decked out in Halloween decorations. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We tried the wings, the spicy edamame, and a bowl of ramen each. Everything was delicious and absolutely hit the spot after a long night in the rain. We enjoyed everything so much that I actually came back the next afternoon for lunch, adding my wife and daughter to the group for the 2nd day of my son's soccer tournament. In addition to all the ramen we also tried the regular edamame, the steamed pork dumplings, and the duck bao. Everything was a hit. My daughter devoured the dumplings and the edamame. Ramen was so flavorful and packed with ingredients. A solid amount of options for the ramen too. Two great experiences in 24 hours. We stopped here for a bite immediately after checking in to a nearby hotel, we were tired and wanted something quick and tasty. The service was prompt and the offerings enough to satisfy but we didn't want ramen. Instead we got an appetizer and a couple of the rice bowls, my hubby had a beef bowl and I had the BBQ Eel bowl. Minutes later a huge storm rolled thru and knocked out the power and it stayed out. The photo was taken in full darkness with long exposure. Miraculous, our bowls were served hot, and perfect. We used our phones to light up the space creating nice enough ambiance to eat by. The young girl servers were attentive and so apologetic. As seasoned travelers, we roll with the punches & we actually were very pleased that our food was filling, tasty and hot. However the kitchen staff managed it without power & in the darkness, we are just glad of it. I do recommend the spot. Took a star off bc restate supposed yo have a backup plan, like a generator or at least table lighting in case of emergency. I think after this event they will do that.
