Definitely not your run of the mill noodle shop! Think incredibly well developed flavors sourced from local ingredients! Started with the Mushroom Steamed Buns - dense rich filling perfectly foiled with the nicely dressed greens. Mister Lee's Ramen - Think mom's pot roast (yes I know it's pork) with an Asian twist. Fatty, tender and perfect on a cold day! These guys think everything through. Even the greens and garnishes are so well curated.

Great food. Not traditional ramen...some of the menu is a little experimental in a small town in Pennsylvania way. Nice atmosphere, music, service. Comically weak pours on drinks at the bar. There is live music sometimes which is good.

This location is Mr Lee's Noodles second location. Parking is either on the street or if you are visiting the Steelstacks, one of their parking lots. Usually, places like these are small and hole in the wall, but this one is large with lots of seating. They were not busy when I first arrived, but business started picking up before I left. They serve water in glass milk jugs, a nice decorative touch, but also offer other beverages including Coca-Cola products. Mr Lee's has a nice selection of appetizers, sandwiches, Ramen, and other items. I ordered the Mister Lee's Noodles. Broth was dark and rich with plenty of noodles. They included THREE pieces of pork, two of which were thick but not chewy. Hidden underneath them near the bottom of the bowl was a fattier piece that's essentially a surprise. Egg was delicious. The only questionable part was the vegetable strands, they to me were oddly flavored. Wait staff were helpful and service was good overall. This is one of the better Ramen places I've dined at in Pennsylvania and would return here again.

Great place to try for something different than your typical American or Gastro Pub food around the area. It's not your traditional Japanese Ramen place. The food is Asian inspired incorporating the regional taste. The night we were visiting they had a Pastrami Ramen with a Veal based soup. The menu is very inventive and they have a great draft beer and cocktail menu too. They have happy hour between 5-6pm We tried: 1. Veggie Spring Rolls 2. Special Chicken Wings 3. Veggie Tempura 4. Duck Confit Dumplings 5. Grilled Quail Ramen 6. Cold Short rib and Kimchi ramen 7. Salad with tofu Everything was delicious and made to order. I particularly loved the Duck Confit dumplings and quality of the ramen noodles. They have the right bite and chewiness. They have a large dessert menu but I didn't try it. The service was also amazing. I never felt ignored.

Really I never knew green tea was that costly

The service was good. The food could have been better. Got hot spicy ramen and need to put the chilly in it since it wasn't spicy. Ambience was nice and quit. The only thing I was really taken back by was being charged for every green tea that was brought. Over all it was ok at best

Live music, and groups of people chatting. Pretty loud in here, but nice atmosphere

We love the Mister Lee's Noodles! I usually get the Fried Chicken ramen, but decided to try the Mister Lee's Noodles this time and I think it's my new favorite! Hubby got the Fried Chicken ramen and my son got the Hot n Spicy ramen. All were delicious and flavorful. Definitely recommend!

The food is aiit. I was looking forward to trying this place because I had heard from word of mouth that this place was pretty good. I had ramen at Rakki Ramen before and I thought it was not that great. So when I heard that this place was better, I was excited to have good ramen in this area. I want to preface this by saying that I think I chose the wrong ramen; I normally get tonkatsu but I felt like getting a cold ramen to my own detriment it seems. I ate the Surf & Turf while my girlfriend had the Seafood Ramen. To be honest the Surf & Turf was okay at best. The broth had an overbearing kimchi taste. It felt like drinking the Kimchi fluid from the bottle. While the broth was not that great the noodles themselves were cooked perfectly. The Seafood Ramen, from what I tasted, was not bad. The softshell crab was really tasty. The broth was a little odd I couldn't pinpoint what it was. My gf didn't like it too much. I would have given the place a 3/5 if it was strictly on the food that we got but it was significantly saved by the ambiance and the service. There was a DJ djing with Vinyl (super impressive) and the waiter was super super nice. Surf & Turf: 6/10 Seafood Ramen: 6.8/10 Ambiance and Service: 11/10 (sublime) 7/10 will come again...to try the other ramen and see if it redeems itself lol

Came here without reservations on a Friday and we were able to sit comfortably at the bar. Not overly crowded. We ordered drinks and a few a small bites: Pork Steamed Buns, Springs Rolls and Shrimp Dumplings. The Pork Steamed Buns are my favorite. I've ordered them several times! The sauce is delicious. The Shrimp Dumpling are amazing. I probably wouldn't order the Spring Rolls again. Staff was very friendly! Happy they opened a Mr. Lee's in Bethlehem, I think it's a great addition to Southside. Will visit again.

We tried to call this place three times before showing up but the phone was busy. No message…read moreservice, no instructions on how to make a reservation, just a busy signal. Anyway, my wife and I show up and are told it's a fifty minute wait, so we decide to drive to a local restuarant/bar and have a drink. Fifty minutes later we come back and are seated. We each order two rolls, and figure if they're good, we would order another. The waiter, a bearded dude with a beanie, that looks like he should be smoking weed on a lobster boat off the coast of Maine, was nice, but a bit "out there." Anyway, fifty minutes later we are still waiting for our rolls. We are a bit hungery seeing it was now 8PM (we showed up at 6PM, and still no food. So my wife asks the lobsterman where our food was. He said, "we're not quick here" and moved on, fifteen minutes later, our food arrives, and for the most part, the sushi was very good, but waiting over an hour for four rolls is insane. Also, it was a BYOB, so during the long wait they recommended Joe's down the street to get beer. Joe's is cash only, so I had to use their ATM which charged me a $3 service charge, and $17 for a six pack, plus I gave the guy a $3 tip, so it cost me $23 for a six pack of beer. Upon finishing out rolls my wife asked if I wanted to split on more roll. By this time, it was 8:30 and there was no way I was waiting till 9:30 for one more roll. We asked for a check and put our credit card on the table we like to use for air miles. Lobsterman then told us cash only, lol, so I hiked to the nearest 7/11 and paid a $4 service fee. The moral of the story, bring cash, bring your own beer, bring a lot of patience, and you should enjoy your sushi, which was good. Oh yeah, the men's bathroom literally has a toilet that comes up to the middle of my shin. It looks like something you'd see at a preschool for kids. I only had to pee, but for the guys who work there, I have no idea what they do when the have to do #2. SMH. The place is a bit surreal and I will not be going back.

Because of that alone, it attracts a great mix of local regulars, even on weeknights, which gives it a lively but comfortable vibe. The décor is modern and fun without trying too hard, exactly the kind of place you want to settle into for a relaxed late-night meal. It feels welcoming, not rushed, and perfect for lingering over a bowl of ramen. The service matches that energy: friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to have you there, which makes a big difference late at night. Given the other reviews, the ramen wasn't horrible. Not sure why the complaints are expressed. In real honesty, unless the bowl of ramens (is that plural?) are teleported straight from Japan - not going to expect a lot. Which is even more noteworthy to mention that food-wise, there's a nice variety to choose from, whether you're craving something rich and comforting or lighter and more balanced. Ramen does not have to be the one, all the time. (Even though the winter season makes it more satiating to have ramen.) Everything feels thoughtfully put together, and it's clear this is a place that takes pride in both flavor and experience. We had a variety of apps, bubble teas, and there was dessert at the end, too. For versatility, this is a definitely a good spot. If comparing to cuisines from Japan, um... I think we should lower our standards a bit and just enjoy the ambience, and night out. Overall, I'm so glad this spot exists for us night owls. It fills a much-needed gap in the local food scene and has quickly become the kind of place you're grateful to know about when everything else is closed. Please support your local businesses!

Overall, the bill wasn't too expensive either. However, the ambience is majorly lacking for how cool the historical building looks from outside. That was a big let down after years of seeing this in passing. It feels too much like a 90s coffee shop from Friends / a poorly converted modern bank lobby with the lighting, and the floor layout lacks flow if you're sitting at the bar. It would be an improvement to see historic qualities restored to the interior, rather than bland sheet rocking, no crown molding, etc. Aside from this, we found the music to be a very distracting and random selection of early 2000s dance, pop, EDM, emo, and rock, mixed with the occasional alt rock hit that was (finally) tolerable enough to fade into the background. The room is vacuous because of the high ceilings and hard building materials, so turning the volume down a little and choosing something consistent in tone (perhaps neo soul or just sticking to alt rock) would be beneficial for the overall atmosphere. Bottom line: would return again for the food, but the atmosphere wasn't what we expected and could be improved for a cozier, vintage styled atmosphere (but that's mostly a matter of preference). Friendly service, affordable prices, and good eats go a long way.

Simply amazing…read more.. While most people were indulging in Sunday brunch, my girlfriend wanted Chinese food. As we drove, she read the description for U & TEA and we knew we had to go. The place is clean with plenty of room and great lighting -- and the entire establishment is food focused. Our server helped with teas and plates and we placed our orders. My girlfriend got sweet and sour chicken for her main meal. It was obvious the food was fresh and the dish had been cooked in fresh oil (and only for a short amount of time). The sauce was delicate and subtle, which allowed the flavor of the tender chicken to shine through. And what a plate! She ended up having leftovers for two days. Although I normally order seafood, I love duck and have it once or twice a year. From the menu, their duck dishes looked fantastic. Our server recommended the Peking Duck, which I had always wanted to try. That dish brought Alice Gatsch with it. She is kind and engaging and introduced how I should properly eat Peking Duck. She walked be through the steps of how to prepare the buns with scallion, cilantro, and sauce. I wish I could convey how tender the duck was and how crispy the skin had been. It was incredible and I somehow cleared my plate (and didn't eat for the rest of the day). We cannot wait to return. Alice said she'd be happy to walk me through ordering a truly traditional meal and I look forward to that experience. The staff and food are too fantastic to pass up. I highly recommend you make a visit of your own!

Also, with these places, you are expected not to waste food so you should consume the rice portion as well. Fair enough and totally understandable. When I called, I was glad to hear that they would allow for members in your party to order à la carte as long as the folks partaking in AYCE do not share. That is a very good way of appeasing the entire party. Walking in, I saw a sign that says BYOB. Another plus but unfortunately I didn't bring any drinks. After my wife looked at the menu, she too opted for AYCE because getting an entree isn't that far off price wise. This is a Chinese owned establishment but nonetheless, the sushi selections are amazing and different. The wait service is prompt and always ready to take your order, and the AYCE came with unlimited soft drink per guest. We ordered a few appetizers and I will say I really enjoyed the spicy edamame as it has a very nice garlicy taste to it. A letdown was the lo mein as I felt it was too garlicy for some reason while my wife felt it was a bit bland. For the sushi selection, they have single sushi pieces, rolls which come in 6 pieces, and special rolls which come in 8. They also have some cooked Asian fusion dishes like General Tso chicken as an example. One advice is they do give a lot of rice in the sushi so when you place your first order, go easy as that will allow you to gauge your speed for the rest of the meal. Throughout the whole time, we were never rushed and didn't have to wait super long to get our order. All in all, very good place for what it offers and will give 4 stars overall.
