Great selection of mushrooms, and the enoki and oyster mushrooms were very fresh and good quality. Great little Asian store to get some fresh herbs and supplies. A little pricier than some of the other ones in the area but it really depends on where you live since the different Asian stores are spaced out in the area. Always found the majority of things I was looking for. The parking lot is a little small but I've never had an issue finding a space. I would recommend shopping at this establishment. read more

My family and I recently have begun exploring Asian food, mostly Chinese. There are a few markets in the Valley but nothing amazing. So I was very excited when I saw the Stefko Market in Bethlehem. I stopped in a few times for just minor things, some tea, aloe vera juice, and frozen dumplings and at the time it looked like they were still filling out their store. As time went by I started going in for more items like rice, noodles, boba pearls and hot milk drinks and I noticed the store has really filled up. I started talking to the young man who works on the floor, Sean. He is extremely nice and helpful with any questions I have. The lady at the register is also nice and helpful. They give an overall cheery feeling to the store I feel very comfortable, as an American with no Asian cultural background, browsing the shelves and asking Sean questions, which I often have a lot of. When I was looking for a certain flavor of tea, Lychee Black Tea, they didn' t have any but Sean said they would get some if I liked. I went in a week later and there it was on the shelf as promised! The store is not large but it is not small. I see plenty of people with carts full of groceries. There is a good selection of fresh produce, and also the meats and fish look fresh as well. Any fish they have in the store Sean will clean for you while you wait. Prices are very good all around. I have been trying to buy the regular items we use at home here because it is cheaper than the local supermarket. Also, they sell lottery tickets for the rich quick crowd. The parking lot is plenty big enough except at certain times on the weekend when they actually can get quite full. Overall I am extremely happy with this market, and especially because it is here in Bethlehem. I have been to all the Asian markets in the Valley and this one definitely stands out from the rest. I can't wait to stop in again to continue to satisfy my adventurous eating cravings! read more

This is a good alternative place to go for Asian groceries if you're unable to make a trip to major Asian supermarkets such as H Mart or Mitsuwa Marketplace. I was pleasantly surprised to find some unusual ingredients for Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai cooking. They have a better selection of Asian vegetables that are fresher than Wegman's. I can find almost everything I need for hot pot. As far as the service is concerned, it's a hit or miss depending on who is behind the counter. read more

The store is decent for the Lehigh Valley, but don't expect a good attitude from the young female cashier. She has a serious attitude problem. Other than her, the other people are super nice and very helpful. Their fish is very fresh and vegetables are pretty nice too. read more

The lady cashier seriously has some big time attitude issue. She is not friendly at all. Leave that - she is like that teacher of yours at middle school who is always angry for no reason. We would feel she behaves so because we stole from her shop or something of that sort. OR she would give you a feeling that you are shopping there at her mercy. Never says "hi", "thank you" - not courteous at all. Ok, I don't want her to be courteous. But this is her business, and there should be some good customer service. If she cannot provide that, I have no idea what she is doing there. Half the time she is playing with her phone. And never listens to you. And if you ask her again for something, she will shout at you. I am afraid to see her in that shop. It is always a very bad experience with her. I guarantee you will have NO PLEASANT PURCHASE EXPERIENCE from here. I am so glad to see another review with the same opinion on her. So, it is not just me. The one and only good thing is that this shop has some good stuff and THAT'S IT. Oh, also, it is a little better to deal with the guy there. He is a little friendly or at least talks properly. If you are unhappy about something, don't put it on your customers. We are not there as beggars if you thought so. Stefko Market is an Asian and ethnic supermarket selling various goodies such fresh green veggies and fruits, kimchee, coconut, fresh crab and fish, and other Asian staples. It's nice that there's finally an Asian grocery store opening so close to where Lehigh University is so for the cost-conscious students, there's plenty of ramen to be bought. The owners there are super nice, and the price is very fair. Was able to find everything there that I needed to make a decent: some rice, green veggies for stir fry, meat, and seafood. Had pretty much anything I needed. Need to know what you are looking for as no one offered to help me find the rice cooking wine I had to get. Decent selection. Doesn't meet all my grocery needs, but has soy milk (the kind that actually tastes like soy beans, not fake milk), tofu, and Chinese snacks. They don't carry a big variety of noodles, veggies, or fruits though, so you'll need to go elsewhere. Luckily, there are other options in the Lehigh Valley. read more
