The collard greens are organic because that was the only kind he could find. So the guy buys four pounds of organic collard greens and he takes them to the cashier who barely acknowledges his existence despite an attempt at interaction. The register reads $17 and some cents. But that's not the joke part. The guy goes home to prepare the collards and upon unbundling each plume finds that many of the interior leaves of each bundle are not collard green, but collard yellow or collard brown. But that's also not the joke part. The joke part is that the collard greens/yellows come from a store that has disappointed the guy multiple times over many years due to a lack of ingredient availability, price gouging, and questionable customer service. A store that is called ... ... FRESH Market. (Ba dum tiss.)
