Rakkii Ramen is a Japanese noodle house located on S New St. in Bethlehem. They are open every day from 11AM - 8:30PM. I was here once a few years ago and all the food was delicious. This time around was no different. I started with the noodle wrapped shrimp and Karaage chicken. The shrimp are deep fried and topped with spicy mayo and Okinawa sauce. The chicken is also fried and topped with sweet and spicy gochujang sauce. The Karaage chicken is my favorite item on the menu. I tried the spicy miso ramen last time. This time I went with the tonkotsu ramen. It's made with pork broth, ajitsuke tamago, chashu, bamboo shoots, scallions, nori, narutomaki, and black garlic oil. My friend ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl. She liked it so much the first time she had to order it again. Service left much to be desired. Our server didn't introduce himself, ask how any of the food was, or crack a single smile. I would have rather ordered from a counter and just sat myself. Pickup and delivery are both available. We really like it here. The second you walk in you are greeted by not only the hostess but the chefs working in the open kitchen. Everyone is attentive and friendly. The food is some of the most authentic you are able to get in the region and delicious. I'm especially a fan of the curry but anything is good including the fruit tea. Definitely recommend read more

This is my go to spot for ramen and noodles. I love how pretty the aesthetics are and how nice the management is there. I wanted to compliment the restaurant on how nice they maintain the seating areas as well as the restrooms, it is comforting to be in that environment knowing how well they manage the restaurant area to serve the customers. The service is always great and super attentive, I always appreciate that the most. My favourite ramen is definitely the Pork Tonkatsu Ramen, as well as the sukiyaki udon ( when I'm in the mood more something lighter and sweet) The flavours are well paired and ingredients are very fresh. Ordered Takkii Beef Ramen and a Mango Green Tea to go. I was picking up the order and arrived at the said time. The server who brought my takeout bag said they were out of go cups and therefore she could not make the Mango Green Tea. I said I already paid for it and wanted a refund. She said she had no idea how to do that, maybe I should go on the website. There is no way to request a refund on the website so I am owed $6.00 for the Mango Green Tea. Honestly. I didn't have a bad experience necessarily, but we ordered the crab croquettes, and they were frozen in the middle. We asked for them to be taken off the bill, but I think our message was lost in the conversation. They kindly brought new ones that were cold in the middle, but not frozen anymore. Unfortunately, they ended up not being good either way. The ramen dish I ordered was not fantastic, but I didn't dislike my main meal. I would call it solid. Went here with my son to try it out. We love Mister Lee's Ramen in Easton, so wanted to try some Ramen from somewhere else to compare. Since I get the fried chicken ramen at ML, I tried the fried ramen here. The ramen from here (Rakkii Ramen) is ok. It's not as flavorful as Mister Lee's, but I wouldn't say it's horrible. It's bland I guess I'd say. The chicken was good, the noodles were cooked well and all in all it was...ok. I definitely prefer the ramen from Mister Lee's. Now, the mango tea was great! So the presentation of the food was beautiful and looked so yummy. I purchased the miso ramen and Chashu buns and a strawberry Japanese soda for pickup. The buns were warm still soft and savory had a very nice texture and the sauce was sweet but not overbearing. I really enjoyed the beef ramen from Rakkii! Every time I refer it is ready super fast and the flavor is consistently delicious. 1 off because it's rather pricey and the portion is t that large for the cost. That said, we continue to order what we feel is the best ramen in the area. We've had the spicy miso which is also delicious and a few others including the curry and tonkotsu which weren't our favorite but are also very flavorful. I greatly appreciate the ramen spoon included with takeout orders! We have yet to dine in but I'd like to dine-in soon to experience everything fresh and in real dishes rather than takeout containers. read more

First I want to say we came to this place many times and always loved the food until recently. 1. The portion size of the rice bowl was much smaller than before despite of increasing menu price for all items. 2. The sukiyaki don I ordered today had little beef. Despite the small portion of rice, when I try to mix the sauce with the rice, it left about half the bowl with no flavor. 3. This is the ridiculous part, we asked for some spicy sauce for ramen, and the waitress gave us two tiny portion of hot paste that's maybe half a water bottle cap. No one told us there's a surcharge, we found out at checkout each of that hot past is A DOLLAR! What next? Charge people for Sriracha, salt and pepper? 4. With that being said, the waitress gave us little attention throughout and rushed us to order, and had no idea what the item on the menu was, when ask what's the ramen she basically read the ingredients on the menu and sounded in a way that made me feel like I'm dumb. 5. Saw a lot of reviews saying this place is so good, make me wonder do they just stop making an effort when seeing asian or familiar faces Don't know what happened with Rakki, and I'm genuinely sad it has become like this. I've been to Rakki ramen two times now and I have not been let down yet. Interior is crisp, clean and modern, making it extremely comfortable. Although this establishment is known for its ramen, I actually really enjoyed the appetizers! I got to sample the noodle wrapped shrimp and the wings. Both were unique and tasty. I tried the beef udon, which has good broth, but unfortunatelymy udon was undercook and harder than expected. I also tried the tonkatsu ramen which is a little salty but still good! So I figured I'd give this place a shot on a lonely Saturday evening. Went in around 7pm and immediately took notice of the cute lay out and decor. This place is definitely a cute first date spot if I had to say! Nice ambience. It also has a very hipster and trendy vibe. The guys working behind the counter aren't bad to look at either! Anyways, I ordered the miso Ramen. The broth was super tasty and the noodles were perfect. I took a star off because I felt the portion size was kind of small for the price..and I had wished that there were more than 2 pieces of pork in my ramen. Those are my only complaints. I was so excited to try this place since they opened. I came here with my friend for dinner on a Tuesday night. We ordered the pork bun to share and we each ordered our own ramen. Pork bun was very disappointing to me. I was hesitant to get it because of the review, so I asked the waiter whether it is good or not. He insisted being delicious, so I got it anyway. Man was I disappointed. The flavor of the whole dish just wasn't good. It was very plain, this dish is missing something for sure. Anyway, I would say my ramen was pretty good and my friend enjoyed his ramen as well. I just would not get the appetizer again.
