The best place to get Chinese food in the Pocono area. I really wish they had half of chicken.

Ribs are really good taste like it's been cooked on a grill very flavorful the menu is very diverse and has a ton of amazing choices I love NY Chinese and this is as close as it comes for me read more

This is probably the healthiest Chinese food I've ever experienced away from NYC, and was pretty shocked by it. The inside isn't the most impressive thing I've ever seen, but the staff is extremely nice and cooked the broccoli extra soft for my 2 year old chicken and broccoli loving son. Although the accompanied pork fried rice had little to no POW flavor, it wasn't greasy and it wasn't terrible. I tasted ginger! The chicken was all white meat, and there was a decent ratio of it in comparison to the chicken. It looks like this place was really something special pre-COVID, and hope they revamp the place in the near future! read more

Hit and miss, some days its great and some days its terrible. Recently I ordered Beef Broccoli soaked in OIL - YUK! This is one of the most basic take out on the menu and they screwed it up and so lacking of flavor. I used to manage Danny's Szechuan in Howard Beach, NY and their Beef Broccoli was to die for. I would advise when order to be sure to add "low oil please I don't want it to be too oily" read more

The food is alright, nothing special. The staff is friendly. The ambiance is welcoming and the fish there are pretty. It's just a place when you want to get a quick bite. read more

Doesn't look like much, hole in the wall, but food is solid. No, of course, don't come if you're expecting waiters in suits and tie. If you want good, solid Chinese food, then come here, they use fresh ingredients and good tasting sauce. Their Genn Tso's is good chunks of chicken with light breading, unlike other places with all breading and a morsel of chicken. Not as spicy as I'd like but can always ask for more spiciness. Chicken broccoli has great sauce that's not heavy handed. Same goes for the shrimp with lobster sauce, plus fresh tasting shrimp. On top of it all, super affordable and I've definitely gone back after having poor quality elsewhere near here and when you're tired of Great Wolf Lodge food read more

Great Wall - Took the kids, and of course, not 5 star ambience and wait service but darn good food, which is what really matters in the end! - Japanese Near Me - Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania

Not coming back here anytime sooner! I'm not a big fan of Chinese fast food but I wanted to support local businesses hard-hit by COVID_19. Esp. Chinese businesses. My son's order was filled with broken eggshells! Speaks volumes about food hygiene and sanitation, and customer service. Yuck! read more

Food was fantastic! Atmosphere was nice - quiet, family-friendly, cool fish tank. Take out was fast!

Walked into the Great Wall and ordered up front at lunch time. Sat down with a co-worker and he immediately noticed how filthy the walls and floor were. The table was also sticky. There are 2 fish tanks that are in need of cleaning. The cook brought our drinks out, a can of soda for me, and a hot tea for my co-worker in a plastic cup that could've used an upgrade as it looked very used. We received our food. I got the sashimi box and the plate was disgusting. Had a build up of grease all over it. On top of all of this, some of the sashimi was extremely fishy and I couldn't even finish it. Do think they could use a visit by the department of health. I felt like I got sick after eating, but I think it was in my head. read more

Great Wall - Japanese Near Me - Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania

Somewhat of a find in an area of the Poconos with so many mediocre Asian & Chinese restaurants. Hard to say what COVID-19 has done to restaurants in general and Chinese restaurants in particular. As with any cuisine, attention to detail and consistency of preparation is key to a being considered a good restaurant. This one is despite the challenges of the pandemic although this Main Street business is already setup for "take out" because of the storefront... Now for the food. This is the only Chinese restaurant in the area that serves Scallion Pancakes - a seemingly simple item but done right is a delightful and tasty appetizer. As I've only had a chance to sample a couple of dinner menu items I give the Great Wall Restaurant the benefit of the doubt for the ones I haven't tried because of the ones I've had and the fact that they make Scallion Pancakes. Also because there are so few good restaurants in this Mt. Pocono area. Some Details: Egg Rolls need work. Spring Rolls are fair. Basic Fried Rice is very good. Dumpling sauce has too much rice vinegar for my taste (so I added some soy sauce to it and it was fine.) The Sweet & Sour Chicken was very good. The chicken was nicely done in a light batter similar to tempura and the sauce is done right... The Chicken Egg Foo Young is my favorite thus far. The omelets are perfect but in my opinion the sauce served with it is a bit on the bland side and could be done better. Lastly the Chinese Vegetables are very good. Service is good when the restaurant is attended by a person with a good command of English and a bit challenging when it's not - a typical problem with most Chinese Restaurants. read more

Food is very good, service is very good much better than a lot of others here in the Pocono's.

I was staying a few blocks away in a hotel and needed something to eat at 10:30 in the evening. The hotel staff said that this place would be open and easy for me to find since I was unfamiliar with the area. They said that there was a better place but that I might get lost, so this was a sure bet. I ordered sesame chicken and a scallion pancake. The sesame chicken was just ok. I have definitely had better. But the scallion pancake was TERRIBLE. My son didn't even eat it and he's a human garbage disposal. It was extremely oily as if when they fried it the oil wasn't hot enough. That's the only reason I could come up with for why it would be so soggy. What a shame. Will def not dine there again. read more

The food was great tonight! Pretty low prices. Super fresh and delicious. There are tons of yummy vegetables and perfectly cooked jumbo shrimp in the shrimp with garlic sauce. Not pictured are the delicious egg rolls and sesame balls. We would definitely visit again. read more

Ummm no ? I randomly stopped in this place for chicken wings I waited 40 minutes for greasy chicken with the feathers still on them. I'm pretty sure other menu items are good but it wasn't worth the wait and the wings weren't that great. Advice: ORDER AN HOUR IN ADVANCE read more

Great Wall - a hand holding a piece of fried chicken - Japanese Near Me - Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania

The Chinese Food was bland. Nothing bad just not too good. The sushi was really good.

it's a hit or miss, sometimes it's awesome sometimes it's good but not exceptional which is a shame as it used to always be exceptional when it opened. hopefully i can change this to a more positive in the future. just ordered tonight so let's see! the sushi and tempura are great! read more

Got Chinese take out here during our vacation in the Poconos. It was very fresh and tasty, not to mention the price was very good. Ordered a small veggie lomein which happened to be the perfect amount for me & a general tso chicken with brown rice. Total was ~$12. read more

Visited this quaint little restaurant for the first time and was extremely satisfied. We ordered 2 house special sushi rolls which took about 30 minutes for her to make, which is understandable since sushi takes a while to perfect. And she really did perfect them. Best sushi I've had in a long time. It was delicious and satisfying and I'm almost never satisfied when I eat sushi but for the first time in a while I was. This restaurant is about 30-40 minutes away from home for me but I'll definitely come back just to eat here again. read more

There was a mix up with my order and I found the staff to be very rude when I tried to explain the mix up. I have a food allergy and there was some in my meal and I even offered to pay the difference and the staff continued to be rude. read more

Very small. Mostly suited for pickup. Plan on paper plates and cans of soda. Food was okay.

You might die from a food induced coma, but you'll die full of spicy girl rolls.

The Chinese food is okay, I 've had better. The sushi I wouldn't recommend it just didn't taste fresh. They are open late and they were very nice. Everything was pretty clean. The street parking in the area wasn't great, hard to find meters...and you might need some quarters depending on the time you go. read more

The Best Asian Cuisine in all of the Poconos! Do not sleep on this place! It's located right on Main Street in Mount Pocono, not far from Bills Shoprite. The food here is just amazing... it literally may be one of the best places to get Asian food anywhere and for such great prices... you get a great amount of food and are bound to leave very satisfied. They put a lot of quality in the food and you will be able to tell!! Check them out read more

Horrible! Just hope I don't get sick from it. Olga's review was very generous. No chopsticks napkins soy sauce. Shumai awful and no eel in the Dragon roll. They saw me coming! read more

Stars are for the General Tso's Chicken my husband IS NOT from NY City so he loves it. I am from NY and we have the best Chinese food hands down!!!! read more

It's says it does delivery but when you call and try to place an order for delivery it says they don't do delivery

This place took a long time for our orders to be ready and we called it in earlier. However, the food was good and obviously fresh so I would order again. I have the grilled squid with special sauce and the Kani salad. The squid was wonderful but the salad needs a bit of work. read more

Just moved here in Dec. 2013. Have tried plenty of there sushi! And the Pocono Roll is my favorite!! Their rices are good, the soups are good , my hubby likes the sesame chicken! I had the crab Rangoon and it's ok. I'm from NYC area, who isn't around here. Lol. Although it's def not the city. It's not bad for here... They are nice but dont deliver.. And with the jungle of animals around I won't be walking.. Try it. There is something you will like...and the wait isn't that long. read more

I can say maybe the best food away from China Town NYC. Would recommend the Broccoli Shrimps, Singapore noodles and ribs. They have a 28 dollar deal that gives you one General Tso, Chicken free. Love the deal came back two times while camping in the area. Hope you keep up the good cooking. Time to enjoy bye ps. Adding this location to my maps read more

Dont believe the hours it says 1130 pm here but it's open until 1030pm but apparently thats not right either. Wanted my time driving out here for no reason because "they ran out of food" read more

This place has terrible service, I called for pick up for one thing, they said 15minutes. I showed up in 15minutes and they weren't ready there was one other person in the restaurant and they just ordered. I was told it was almost ready and saw them starting to make it. This happens a lot I don't recommend this place, I only go because my wife likes there soup. Food is ok not great pretty average for Chinese but they need to work on there service. If you order for pick up I recommend doubling the time they give you. read more

Being from New York and having experienced some of the best Chinese food, I have to admit that this place is, by far, the best in the area that I know of. They may not be the fastest in preparation, but it is worth the wait. Go with patience and you will not be disappointed. read more

Very dirty, I went with my family to eat and the owner were yelling in Chinese at each other, we ordered a lot of food but to start with the wonton soup when it came out the wontons were yellow, the waiter told me that they're steamed but on touch the wontons were hard like pizza crust and I told him I ate a lot of wonton soup and I never seen them yellow and hard, they bring out the utensils and they were greasy like they were never washed. The biggest problem I had was that they never brought exactly what you ordered and if you ordered over $45.00 of food you get a free general TSO's chicken and they never gave it to us. My overall experience was horrible and we ordered or ate there at least 3 to four time a month, never again unless you like that type of service. read more

Everything is always cooked to perfection prices and quality beat Winner, China Pearl, Golden Dragon, and China House

We just ordered a take out delivery from this place. Ordered stir fried squid, beef garlic sauce n seafood fried rice. I have never eaten such a bad preparation. Stir fried means no liquid. Theirs was in a sweet sauce covered. Then the beef had the exact same sauce!!! Sweet sauce. Basically their cooking was steamed n added the same sauce. The fried rice rice was sticky rice. We ended up throwing everything we ordered. The front lady was so busy playing on her phone. Called her n she was extremely rude. I have no idea who wrote other reviews def not someone who tasted good cooking. I really hope YELP has validates such entries. Lost all the money n the time. We are giving no star or one star to this place. read more

Everything is always delicious and cooked perfectly! The sushi is awesome as well! Defiantly my favorite place for Chinese take out! BUT they also have Japanese food too so it is half Chinese, have Japanese giving a great variety of choices. read more

Ordered lunch. I found 3 hairs in my chicken and broccoli, the lo mein was incredibly bland, and the rice was hard. I was so upset because I spent over 30 dollars and I couldn't even eat it. The only good thing was the general tsos chicken (the parts that weren't overfried and completely inedible). Overall I was not happy with my meal, and neither was my boyfriend. I will not be ordering from here again. read more
