Thai basil fried rice with shrimp
Simply L.

Its in a strip mall. They don't have much for ambiance so you may prejudge it incorrectly. The waitress was pleasant but oddly dressed. She had on what seemed like a Halloween costume with heavy makeup, piercings everywhere and was in see through tights, with a liatard and a cape. Nothing like all of the other Thai restaurants I've dined in. Thank God the food was actually good. We were all surprised but glad we ate there.

Seafood fried rice, shrimp salad & veggie dumplings
Fateha A.

Went here cuz of the highly rated reviews but was somewhat disappointed. I liked the steamed veggie dumplings (5 dumplings), but my mom said it was bland. Neither of us could tell what veggies were in it. Definitely nothing like Tibetan dumplings, which're stuffed & have 8 dumplings. We also got shrimp salad which I liked, but my mom said it was ok. The seafood fried rice ($18ish) was really bland. I wuda appreciated sauce on the side, like soy sauce. It only had 1 tiny squid ring, 2 shrimps, 2 clams. Most of the seafood was fish. I like an even amount of variety when it comes to seafood. It's also def overpriced considering the taste & the portion of the food. Can't say I loved anything, so can't say it was worth almost $50 for these 3 items.

Fried Curry Puffs - flavorless
Elizabeth E.

We popped in on New Year's Eve to dine in. They seem to do a really strong takeout business. We tried the fried curry puffs, mango curry (spice level 3) and drunken noodles (spice level 4). The food was ok. Nothing special and not what I would call good Thai food. The puffs didn't have much flavor. The noodles had flavor but were not your typical drunken noodles. We had hardly any chicken in either the curry or the noodles. If you are looking for a break from the sandwiches and pizza that seem to be ubiquitous in the Poconos- here you go! It's not the best but it's not the worst either. It is overpriced for quality and portion.

I love going to Thai Chang because the food is amazing and Pat (the owner) is just so nice; such a sweetheart. I particularly love any of the curries; Penang is my favorite. Soups that are my favorite are: Dumplings and Tom Ka. Korean Fried chicken is also great as well (ask for fried hard). Whatever you chose you cant go wrong. What something tweaked or special, ask Pat... Also they just started their Lunch Special with 10 different options to choose from that comes with Tea & spring roll for $13.99.

Easy online ordering. Food was great. You can sit in or take out. They have a website to see menu. The online ordering is a breeze.

Delicious but pricey for the serving size. I'll try it again but I'll stick to just appetizers.

Loved the crispy basil pork! got 5 out of 10 spicy, and it was definitely hot. Would highly recommend!

Very enjoyable evening. It's an interesting place, one side seems to be darker and more intimate…read morewhile the other side is brightly lit and banquet-hall like. We were met by the waitress very quickly and offered ice water, which was cold and refreshing. My wife had a Thai Iced Tea, which she enjoyed, and I stuck with the water. I ordered a bowl of Tom Yum soup to start and found it to be just a tad salty for my liking and I could not finish it. They took it off the bill and were very accommodating. For our entrees, we both had the Butter Chicken and Naan. It was very good! Not a thick/creamy as I have had at other establishments but VERY flavorful and the spice level was perfect. The naan was very good as well and perfectly accompanied the meal. We very much appreciated the attentive nature of the staff and will definitely return in the future!

We ordered online and went to pick up, but the place was super packed and we had to wait an extra…read more10 minutes -- honestly, I was a bit frustrated at first. But wow... the food made it all worth it. The chicken tikka masala was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The fried rice was full of taste and not greasy at all. And the naan? Soft, warm, and just the right amount of char. I was actually sad this spot is far from where I live -- if it were closer, I'd be a regular for sure. Great food, just be prepared to wait if it's busy!
