We've been here a few times and it was always delicious. This past weekend with the New York City holidays, kids were off from school and I suppose everyone went to the Pocono Mountains. The owners were not aware of the New York City holidays and was not prepared for the crowd on a Thursday night. Long story short, we waited 1.5 hours to be seated and to get our food, we were the last call on dinning. It was so much, the cashier gave me a notepad to write my order down, which is fine because i understand it's a family owned business and Im happy when there's business for them. But when we got our food...our broth was basically hot water and our meats were overcooked. Now..as I've said I've been here before and the food is always good..so two days later we went back for lunch..and they redeemed themselves. Deliciously flavorful hot broth...juicy and tender meats...and delicious but strong Vietnamese coffee. I took off one star for that one night of disaster because I felt that if you run out of broth, let me know, I would've gladly ordered a rice dish instead. I'll come back again on my next Poconos trips and will update ratings if it's consistent. read more

I arrived just after opening and ordered the large size pho with well done steak. It was excellent and full of noodles and lots of steak. My husband ordered the shrimp pho and said it was loaded with shrimp. We well definitely be back. The dining room is sunny, the service is efficient, and there is plenty of parking. Pho Saigon 2 burned down, so this is the rebuild in a new location. Still family owned, still the best Vietnamese in the Poconos. 3 stars compared to large cities with good Vietnamese food, 4 star because we are from Baltimore, and food is slightly worse than what we can get there, for the Poconos, it is effectively 5 stars. read more

Our family loved our dinner here! Surprised to find a pho joint in the area. We got a wide variety of dishes- spring rolls, banh mi, pho, chargrilled pork chop and Thai iced tea. Everyone enjoyed their food! Very friendly staff and quick, efficient service too! A lot of families with babies also dined here in a big open space and it is very friendly for toddlers including ours. One thing is that it doesn't have a changing table in either of the bathrooms, but we made it work! read more

As a Vietnamese I guess I have high expectations. Pho was flavorless. Egg rolls came out soaked in oil. Worse part is the two ladies who looked like the owners didn't know I was Vietnamese. They said in Vietnamese "rich men marry young women" pretty much calling me a gold digger. My husband of 10 years is 12 yrs older than me and we have two kids. Next time, please just focus on running your business. Never going back even if the food improves. I gone to this restaurant every time I was in the Poconos. Since a surprising find in the Poconos area! Honestly, I was not expecting much when I came here. But upon arrival at opening, I was immediately surprised at how many people were already parked and waiting to go in! We ordered: Pork Chop Platter (#38) Big Bowl Pho (get the L! It's only a dollar more !) The platter was great! Definitely one of the tastiest I've had. Pho broth was sooooo good and flavorful . Portion was HUGE. I have been a loyal customer of this place since they opened the Pho Saigon 2 location in Tannersville before it burned down. This place is just as amazing as their previous location. The staff is friendly, inviting and very personable with their customers. And the food...OMG, it is 100% amazing. One thing I always look for in a eatery is consistency in their products, taste and food quality...and this place delivers on all three. The food was okay. After reading the reviews, I was excited to try it. It turned out to be mediocre. The service was okay. No one really greeted us until I asked if we can sit. We sat down and other tables were served with water but we didn't. We waited for a while until someone came to take our order. The portions was large so if you ordered a large, expect a big bowl of Pho. The restaurant was clean and expect to smell like pho once you leave. It's nice to found Saigon near Kalahari, I couldn't complain about the food or price. However I just found out they charged me extra $20 on my credit card today. I guess that's for tip, but we already put $20 cash on our table for tips. Our bill was around $100, and the total tip now is $40. Now I learned the lesson, I will not leave the tip on table anymore! read more

Amazing! So so good. We stopped by here for a quick bite and this place was so authentic. The viet coffee was the best I ever had tbh. The cubed beef was delish and the pho itself was very flavorful. Of course, we all miss the Casino Theatre dearly but I'm so happy to have this place in Mt. Pocono. Their pho is really excellent. The flavor is strong and delicate at the same time.
