The munchkin chose the orea shake, which would not have been my choice, but I was hell bent on checking this box on my list and committed to sharing it because thou shalt not skip a meal! It was $15 and good. They also have alcoholic versions. Yum! They give you a spoon to get all the good stuff out that settles at the bottom, but it is just a regular plastic spoon. This place surprised me! All the food was delicious. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, cheese curds! All the pub grub you want. The burgers were huge double patty burgers. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was crispy and delicious. The nachos with the pulled pork on top were really good too. Decent prices for resort a restaurant too. Super staff and service. Out of all the places to eat in Kalahari Resort, I liked this one the best. You're getting a pretty legit burger in here. I ordered the black and blue smashburger which was a double patty burger that came on a brioche bun with caramelized onions and blue cheese. It came with chips on the side which I substituted tater tots. Damn good burger and the tots were also decent. Another person at my table ordered a Breakfast Burger which was a double patty smashburger topped with a sunnyside egg and bacon. I had to try a bite and was not disappointed. You're going to need a few extra paper towels to wipe your hands and face because they were pretty messy. Luckily, they provided rolls of paper towels on the tables for your dining pleasure. The grilled chicken Caesar salad and fried cauliflower appetizer were also worth a try. Overall, a nice dining experience and my #1 recommended food spot at this water park resort. read more

I went to Kalahari for my volleyball tournament this weekend. I will admit I had low but not that low expectations for this restaurant. Boy was I wrong, the service was absolutely remarkable! My first day here I had Donovan as my waiter, such a nice guy, he was on time with everything we ordered, he hustled everything and made us enjoy our night. I remember just ordering parmesan cheese as my dinner and it was still amazing. The next two days, we had Jayden as our waiter, awesome guy. He was enthusiastic, made us enjoy our night, and the food was impeccable. He took photos for us and we took a photo with him as well for memories sake. Jayden was like our brother. For a resort restaurant, B-Lux Grill & Bar was A-OK. I wasn't expecting much, but the food was pretty good. I had the Gobbler. Friends had burgers, sandwiches, and milkshakes. The milkshakes are huge and loaded with sugar. We had a great server. He made the experience a ton of fun. I mentioned to him that our friend was celebrating a birthday. Well there were 6 birthdays at the restaurant while we dined. The staff sang happy birthday to each one, and they even seemed happy to do it each time. They brought my friend a scoop of ice cream with a candle and sang. It was special. We were not staying at the resort, but we figured we needed dinner and why not stop? Such a great experience. We came here for dinner with our 5.5 year old and 1.5 year old after our first day at Kalahari the 2nd week of August. When we were seated, the high chair we were given didn't line up correctly to the table we were seated at and we were asked if we could sit in a different and more accommodating area. We were immediately switched with no problem at all. Our server Donavyn was amazing. He offered menu suggestions, promptly filled all of our requests (such as putting in the kid's food orders asap, getting us more napkins, etc) and made sure that mommy and daddy got all of the alcohol we needed at the end of the day! She greated us w a smile, she interacted w the children at table, and when we let her know it was our first time being at the resort She was quick to recommend top menu items. Stood at Kalahari in PA and took the family to B-Lux just for their shakes and it didn't disappoint! Full warning.. these shakes are like having a meal or 2 desserts at the same time so be ready, but definitely fun to eat! I would recommend asking your server for a small plate as you dissect your shake or even share. If you're not heavy eaters but having a full meal before the shakes, you're young ones probably won't finish it. Visiting Kalahari for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised that I disagree with most of the negative comments. It's a resort. It is pricier than outside the resort but convenience, location, and great staff make up for it. Most importantly...all the negative reviews on the Buffalo cauliflower are not fair as I think people were expecting fried and the menu clearly says roasted. Sauce was good. Cauliflower was roasted. Also had the wedge salad with chicken and that was very good as well. Edit: returned second day here...went back for the wedge salad and tried the wings. Amazing! read more

If you're staying in Kalahari Resort, you might come to find that quality food spots here are extremely limited. Luckily, B-Lux is one of the better options. For appetizers, we got the white cheddar cheese curds and loaded waffle fries. I was hesitant about trying the cheese curds since most mozzarella sticks can't seem to nail that melty, gooey cheese in the middle, but these were an absolute hit at our table with kids and adults alike. That cheddar stretched for days, and the herb buttermilk ranch dipping sauce was tasty. The loaded waffle fries came with sour cream, green onions, bacon bits, and beer cheese sauce. I'm not much of a fries person, regardless of the form (I know, I'm committing blasphemy with this review), but everyone else really liked these. Since we came for lunch, only part of their menu was available, so I was sad that I couldn't get the ribs or pulled pork sandwich. I was really craving something with BBQ sauce, so I settled for the BBQ pulled pork mac and cheese despite knowing it'd be really heavy. It was, but it was also pretty tasty. The pulled pork was flavorful, and the sauce went perfectly with the pasta, which was well-cooked and not too creamy. I will say the mac and cheese was a bit light on the cheese part, but that's fine. The other members of my party also enjoyed their burgers and sandwiches. We first came here when it was Brandberg, where the food was a bit more upscale and interesting. Brandberg is now replaced by B Lux which is a burger and shakes place. The menu has your basic burgers, shakes, fries, Mac and cheese. Nothing too interesting. I had the pulled pork Mac and cheese and it was ok. The sweetness of the pulled pork was a good contrast to the saltiness of the Mac and cheese. We also ordered a burger, and a pulled pork sandwich. Both were good but typical. Service was extremely, extremely slow even though the restaurant wasn't even half full. To be fair, I recall that Brandberg also had very slow snail-like service. To save time, I would suggest eating in the food court in the downstairs arcade area. They have some of the same menu items. We had decided to eat in B Lux because it was much quieter than the dining area in the arcade but the quietness is a trade off for slow service. read more
