Café Duet is such a gem! We stopped in on a Sunday morning and spent $33.66 (including tip) on a really memorable breakfast. Our order: a carrot Morning Glory muffin, a breakfast sandwich (two organic eggs, grilled Spanish chorizo, sharp cheddar, baby arugula, and sriracha mayo on a fresh-baked roll), a HUGE chocolate milk, a mocha latte, and some spreadable cashew cheese to-go. The café itself is tiny--just enough space to place or pick up orders--but it's full of eclectic charm. There are a few tables out front, some indoor seating, and a hidden garden patio in the back that makes it feel like a secret hangout spot. The vibe is funky, cozy, and very "local favorite." The staff were super friendly, which made the experience even better. The food was fantastic! The muffin was moist, flavorful, and big enough to split. The breakfast sandwich was perfectly portioned for two, with that warm, lightly toasted roll stealing the show alongside the chorizo and sharp cheddar. The chocolate milk was rich and perfectly chocolaty, and the cashew cheese spread was salty, nutty, and delicious on crackers. We sat outside on the sidewalk café tables and watched the town slowly wake up around us. Between the great food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the little details that make it special, it's easy to see why locals recommend Café Duet as a "must try." We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!
It's been over 6 years since I have been here!?! Well, I am glad it is just as great as I remembered. A noted change, order at the register and then sit at an available seat. This time I tried the Roasted Mushroom with Smoked Gruyere croissant sandwich with an egg for added protein. Delicious! I washed it down with fresh brewed cold black tea. Definitely still a great spot with fast and friendly service.
Cafe Duet is a quaint coffee shop in the Pocono area that serves up a great cup of mocha latte and americano. My hot mocha latte (oatmilk, half decaf) was made perfectly. The coffee to milk ratio was good and the chocolate flabor was not too overpowering- it still tasted like a latte and not hot chocolate. It wasn't watered down, and was still rich and creamy. The americano was a good cup- straight to the point and robust. We also had the banana nut bread and the pistachio-cranberry-white mocha chip biscotti. Both pastries were pretty good. Some tables had ordered hot food like waffles and soups, which looked pretty good and we might try this place out for a snack or breakfast in the future. Interior is pretty with plants, a record player playing jazz, and clean tables and chairs. Service is friendly, interior is old world charm, coffee and pastries are great. Public parking, ccs, Apple Pay. Public metered parking. Would recommend!

The consistency was watery and did not taste good. I did enjoy the Pink Avocado Toast. Ingredients seemed fresh and I loved the taste! Service was friendly and fairly quick. Would come back to try other food items but not lattes or specialty drinks.

What a special treat this cafe is! Passing through from out of town and Yelp helped me find this one ! Delicious pastries, food and scrumptious coffee! You can't ask for much more ! You order at front and your food is delivered to your table. Warm and cozy atmosphere with great service.

Sooooo good! The place is adorable and the employees are super friendly and helpful. Today was our first time visiting and will not be our last. When you walk in you grab a small paper menu and then order at the counter. We ordered an iced coffee, a golden milk latte w/soy, the vegan rainbow sandwich and the breakfast sandwich. We opted not to get the chorizo on the sandwich and the gentleman working gave us other options, which was so nice. Some places just say ok if you don't want something and don't give options so this was a pleasant surprise. Both guys working at the counter were pleasant and seemed to enjoy working here. They were nice to interact with and they worked well together. The iced coffee is amazing and the golden milk latte is craveable. It was perfect as is without any additional of sugar, etc. The sandwiches were absolutely delish! We can't wait to go back and would definitely recommend this cafe. read more
My wife and I were most of the way home after driving across Pennsylvania. I needed a stop for some coffee and a snack. Cafe Duet is located in a cool downtown area and its vibe is excellent! Clean and modern, with lots of cool seating options. Gentleman behind the counter was friendly. I went with a cold brew, broccoli rabe and mozzarella served over arugula and my wife had a chai latte and a hummus sandwich. I circled back to the counter and added an alfajore because it seemed too good to pass up! It was as good as it looked! Excellent place to stop! read more

Everything is homemade fresh and delicious.Summer or spring will better they have backyard.Cute and clean places.Latte and Capp are unfortunately to milky 3 shots will be better if you want to feel coffee taste.If you are sitting inside they are serving only your coffee is selfservise.I like this place so cute read more
Omg the dulce Bundt cake! Why isn't anyone talking about this, we were on our way to poconos and stopped in for a hot drink because we were just so cold and I had a sore throat. But let's just go back to that Bundt cake, delicious I can't even explain perfection on here but you get it. The hot chocolate was heavenly too. When you get here, you order by the right side at a coffee bar & then they will bring your food out to you when it is done. Courteous service and a charming Victorian vibe. Be sure to check out the amazing little secret garden in the back. If weather permits... eat out there! We've been on a girls vacation and have found ourselves with huge breakfast meals that we guiltily cannot finish. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach (figuratively) and I was worried the sandwich would not be enough, but was willing to test it out. It was ... roll your eyes in back of your head... amazingly flavorful. Each bite so precious and I was indeed full at the end. Goodness, if you like mushrooms, this is the right sandwich for you! This place made my group feel very unwelcome. I was speaking with the owner BETSY over a month in advance telling her I would bring a party of 14 people for a birthday party. We arrive at 10:15 AM to set up the birthday table, and everyone arrived by 11AM. We did not recieve any menus or any waitress to take our order, but we ordered coffee in the front of the cafe. Everything was fine until Betsy told us "you are our biggest table here and you still haven't spent a dollar". Mind you, this was at about 10:45, and we did order coffee but were waiting for the birthday girl to arrive to her surprise birthday. We finished and left everything clean on the table by 12pm, not even over an hour because our guests truly felt unwelcome and rushed. The cafe wasn't busy, so I wasn't sure why she was so bothered by us, knowing I told her over a month ago that we would be coming. We were respectful, we weren't rowdy .. we didn't want to be more of an inconvenience than we already felt from her. We were sitting outside in the patio and cold, nobody else was outside either just our party. She also said we weren't allowed to have the birthday cake we brought, when she never told me this in the emails at all. It was really unprofessional, the baristas and servers are great but THE OWNER is extremely disrespectful and regret bringing all of my friends to a cafe whose owner is so rude to its customers. Especially it being a big party, you would think we would be given some type of attention. Overall, dissatisfied by everything, the food and the respect. Lastly, she emailed me after I spoke to her respectfully telling me "Good Luck with life". To top it off, the reason we wanted to go there was because it was a special place for the birthday girl, it's a shame none of us will ever be going back. read more
We had a great experience here! Walked up to the entrance mid-morning to find a lot of people milling around & had a bit of a wait to place our order at the counter. Fortunately, there was (self) seating available in the little courtyard in the back. Found a nice spot under a tree & our food came out rather quickly. I had the Breakfast Sandwich which was fantastic - very fresh! My Girlfriend had the Strawberry & Goat Cheese Salad ...which she loved as well. Coffee was good too! Really enjoyed sitting back & chilling in the open air - a great venue with great food! Highly recommended! read more
Stopped here with my family to grab a quick breakfast before we walked around Main st. (We are visiting from NYC). All of the food we got was delicious (chorizo egg and cheese, waffle, ham sandwich, and hummus avocado sandwich). I also got a cold brew which was good (but keep in mind they don't have flavored syrups). The baristas were very kind and the food came out quick. Would definitely come back again. read more

This place was FANTASTIC. It's definitely small/not much seating, but such a gem!! We had to wait a bit to get a table but the cafe is very cute and aesthetic. I got the Mushroom and Gruyère Croissant Sandwich and a latte. The sandwich was sooo good. The flavor combos were amazing and it was nicely toasted. So happy we stopped by here! read more
Little hole in the wall where you order at the counter and they bring you your food. The seating space indoors looks like it is not much, but if you keep walking you see there is more and there is a really cute large space outside with picnic tables and two tops. The belgian waffles are a good size and the kids devoured all of the classic and chocolate drizzled varieties. I had the roasted mushroom and gruyer on a croissant. Wow. Excellent. If you don't like mushrooms, I challenge you to not like this sandwich. The shrooms are diced so if you don't like that spongey texture, it helps. Hidden gem of a spot. read more

I had many orders here over the wk I spent at the next door hotel. A coworker told me about the cafe and I was delighted to know that it was just steps away from my hotel. All my orders were take-away, order online for easy pick up. My intention was to try all the sandwiches but I ended up sticking to just a few. 1- Mushroom and cheese sandwich. The croissant was really buttery. I went light on the cheese but this was a mouth pleaser. 2- Egg Sandwich- I am not an egg sandwich kinda gal usually, but I decided to try this and I prob ordered it 3-4x more times overall. It easily was my favorite. 3- The Belgian Waffle- This was also good, it's really filling. I would prob like to eat this with side of eggs or bacon. 4- Chai Latte (w/Oat milk)- This was okay. Not my favorite, their chai is a bit spicier than I would prefer but it was still ok overall. The staff seem to be working hard to get orders made, and the food appears to be made fresh which is good to see. On the wknd, the line was extra extra long so I recommend just ordering online and wait for confirmation to pick up your order. read more
A terrific find with terrific food for a terrific weekend. I'm glad I found this location while visiting Pennsylvania. We were on our way home and decided to grab some brunch, so, of course, thanks to yelp we were able to find this amazing place. The staff were totally friendly and helpful... What an excellent, cute cafe, located right next to Monroe County Court House. They have bright colored outside seating in front of the cafe, and if you walk through the cafe, they have a beautiful, peaceful, bright colorful seating out back, you can listen to the birds singing to you. There menu is full of different kinds of coffees, teas , iced or hot. Homemade breads, pastries, sandwiches, salads.. so much to mention for such a small cafe. This place is a gem. read more

Amazing little cafe just off Main Street. Good coffee, good vibes, friendly baristas, and fantastic food. The food and ambiance here rivals that of any great Brooklyn cafe. I ordered a latte along with several brunch menu items and baked goods. I tried the baked eggs and Mushroom Gruyère croissant sandwich there and brought the rest home. My husband and I (and some of my husband's coworkers) finished the remaining items over the next couple days. Everything was excellent. And so many delicious vegetarian options! The Mushroom Gruyère croissant is the rockstar but I loved the vegan rainbow sandwich too. I can't wait to return when it's warmer so I can visit the garden! read more
