I reviewed this place a couple years ago when we stumbled upon it. We liked it so much we went back twice during our stay. This trip, we saw it again on nearby eats. Had to come back! After a long snowy morning the Better Half and I stopped here for a late breakfast. First off, great job being open on Monday, nothing else nearby was. Ambience is pretty typical but the service was fantastic and very knowledgeable about gluten sensitivity and food allergies. Better Half said the GF bread is very good. She had the pulled pork melt on GF bread and I had the Italian Chicken melt. Both were very flavorful and piping hot. Their food is made fresh and it really shows. Overall, great experience with friendly intelligent service and fresh, good food. I'd definitely go again if I find myself up there. read more

First Place was down the road from a wedding venue my fiancé and I had just left. We got there around 9:30 am on Sunday and were seated right away. There's extra seating down the stairs to the left, fyi. My fiancé had eggs, potatoes and sausage while I had the Western on a roll. Both of our meals were frieken delicious. The town doesn't have too many restaurants in this area so we were really glad we found this place...we went 2 days in a row, so long story short we enjoyed it. They have a very simple breakfast and lunch menu. When you arrive you order at the front and then find your seat wherever you wish. The place is small but cozy. The food comes out pretty quickly. My son and i found this place when we took a trip to PA to go ziplining at the skytop Lodge. On the way there we stop by grab 2 breakfast sandwiches and we took the menu as well, I've got the the campsite and I was delighted by the sandwiches. I've told my son that we have to review the menu and maybe we can stop by on the way home and we did. We headed home around 2:30 pm and I've told my kid, we need to try some other items. AGAIN. We were amazed by buffalo wings, the chicken parm sandwich and the sirracha burger. Omg such a small place with amazing food, the owner Josh was very very nice to us.. We were on a weekend vacation from Philadelphia and looking for an easy place for lunch and were so happy we found this gem. Don't let the simplistic decor fool you, the food here is really great and well priced. I got the Turkey Rachel - crisp, gooey cheese, grilled perfectly. My husband got the Grilled Chicken Melt - bread was excellent and chicken was moist. We were actually a bit surprised at how good the food was not to mention how nice the staff was. Although we didn't need it for our visit, they have a grocery area if you want to pick up some simple camping foods which is a nice add on. The only downside...for being a cafe the coffee was subpar. What a great find, it's just a minute from Buck Hill. I often go and have a veggie omelette and coffee. A nice couple run the place. Service is quick with a smile. Came to eat here from Skytop Lodge and was not disappointed. Clean and spacious. Lots to choose from. My husband had an egg sandwich and blueberry pancakes (they were delicious) kids had pancakes and loved them. I had a special of veggie quiche and it was one of the best I've had in a while with homemade home fries. Will make this a stop for sure when we're up here. Checked out this place while staying in Barrett township. Adorable little cafe. Workers were friendly, we were greeted upon entering the store. They had a chalkboard of specials. I got a egg sandwich and home fries and my boyfriend had a hamburger and fries. Both were amazing. You can tell they make it all fresh. The prices were very affordable. We sat inside and ate and it was very clean and bright. They have a small coffee bar and some beverages in the cooler. They had homemade desserts too! Try and bring cash as it is a small business. Wonderful home made food at a cute family owned cafe in the middle of the poconos. I felt like I was getting food from mom's kitchen! We came after the zip lining treetop adventure nearby and our tour guide recommended this place when I asked for a casual place to get food before heading home. They have a big board of items to order - and some pre packaged items including home made soups. We had a fabulous burger and potato salad, and my son had chicken rice soup he loved ... We also brought home wonderful chili and home made apple pie which were fantastic ! read more

This was a neat little general store style cafe. Counter ordering then grab your own drink. They have a few tables to relax waiting for your food and a neat cozy porch with additional seating. Food is pretty basic cafe/diner, cut and dry selections, but done very well. Food came quick and was high quality. My wife's blueberry pancakes were REALLY good.
