Went to grab something quick and was was very impressed how clean and bright the place was. The person taking our order was very pleasant and patient as I was not sure what to order. I walked into this Habit Burger with a belly full of nothing and left with a belly full of something better than expected. The ordering kiosks were quick, easy and painless, successfully doing what technology is designed to do in our everyday lives: avoid direct human contact. I went with the #1 Charburger combo. The burger arrived with just enough pink in the center to remind me that it had once been a living creature and not a puck-shaped ghost of beef like you'd find at lesser places. It was good. Maybe even very good. A bright spot of this joint, aside from the actual brightness of the dining room, which was clean enough to appease all but the pickiest of Drill Sargents, was the condiment station. Free jalapenos. Pepper rings. Pepperoncinis. A veritable edible fireworks show for those of us who enjoy a little spice with our existential dread. I took my tray out to the patio. The sun was shining like it had something to prove. There were birds chirping. Children laughing somewhere not too far away. Cars were traveling far too fast through the ShopRite parking lot. I thought, this is not a bad way to spend a Tuesday. The fries? Not worth writing home about unless your home is run by people who have never had fries before. Golden, yes. Crispy, somewhat. Memorable? Not quite. Now let's talk value. You could head just up the road and get a very similar experience: a nice burger, some fries, a drink, the whole American food experience, for a bit more than half the price. So why come here? After seeing the now open signs for a week or so I decided to come here after work for a takeout order. It was not as crazy as I expected inside, but I was unable to use the touch screen kiosk due to my complicated order(I just wanted all toppings on the side) An employee took my order but she seemed daunted by my request, eventually everything was compiled and I waited about 5 minutes for my to go bag. I didn't notice until I was home that I got a grilled chicken sandwich instead of the crispy one I asked for, I'll take some of the fault because she did read back the toppings and they did not match up to my requested choice. When I did reassemble the sandwich it was good, tender and still juicy grilled breast with tomato onion and copious lettuce on ciabatta bread. I'll definitely go back to try the crispy version. The sides here are a step up from other fast food choices, I knew the o rings were good from their other location so I had them and the tempura green beans, both very tasty although no sauce was given. I ended with a chocolate shake that was fine. Since they are still very new I can forgive the mix up, and will likely get a char burger on my next visit. I would say the distinguishing factor between this chain and their competitors is their unique menu. Along with burgers and chicken you could even get a tuna or veggie burger. The teriyaki burger with grilled pineapple sounds interesting too. I'm looking forward to going back but will give them some time. read more

I got the santa Barbara char (subbed impossible patties), side Ceasar salad, and a chocolate milkshake. this came to $24 which is pretty crazy for a fast food place. it was good food though. and the burger was huge. I think it can EASILY be split between two people (and I'm definitely not one to usually share my meal so you know this a good size). salad was OK. shake was super thick. I think they should serve it with a spoon honestly. I like that they have atypical options for a fast food place like veggie burgers etc. I didn't go inside only did the drive thru but it was pretty quick and the people were nice. guy got a little confused when I asked to sub the impossible patty, but he figured it out. Just make sure they have your order right if you go because they're still new. I'm only giving three stars due to the price and weirdly thick shake. I'd rather have a normal sized burger for less money. it doesn't need to be that big. read more

Staunchly mediocre. Up front: If you're thinking about going to this place just save yourself the trouble and go to Five Guys. The food is slightly below average for a place like this. The fries were not seasoned at all and weren't tasty. The shakes were thin and also lacked flavor. The burger was definitely seasoned. In fact, that's all it tasted like, a mouthful of salty grill seasoning. The cheese had no flavor. The bun was so dry it crunched when I ate the burger. The service was slow and my wife had a hair in her fries. The ambience was nothing too special. It's a chain joint that looks like a chain joint. I will say the high ceiling amplifies the sound of everyone talking so it's pretty loud for a place with not too many tables. They have a little patio area around back and that's pretty nice. This was my second Habit Burger I've been to and both left the same experience in my mind. It was about 3-4 years since the last time I ate at this place and I hoped it changed a bit. It didn't. This is my 5th time eating at The Habit. Food is good. The burger was a little dried out. This is the first one I experienced a burger overcooked. The fries were delicious. One of the employees came by and asked if I needed a to go box. The employee also asked me if he could take my tray. The manager is training the employees very well. I love the Habit Grill located in Lawrenceville, so I was a bit excited when I found out there was going to be one in Hamilton, which is right around the corner from me. This is the second time I have been there. I was not very impressed by my French fries. They were very soggy and limpy, and they weren't even hot. My burger when I got home I had to reheat the burger. Mind you, I live around the corner from there. I just wasn't satisfied. For the price that I pay , I just may have to take that ride from hamilton to lawrenceville to be satisfied with my meal. read more
