Chicken Salad Club

Classic diner with a homey feel. Great for both breakfast and dinner. Omelettes and pancakes are delicious. Matzoh ball soup is wonderful and good to take home too. Also great sandwiches, like chicken salad. Service is friendly and timely. Looking forward to coming again soon!

We enjoyed the food so that was the big plus. However, service was not great. Our waters were never filled and I actually had to get up and interrupt the waitress sitting on her phone to request refills. Our waitress was also quite curt and it felt like us being there was an inconvenience. Ambiance was very typical of a diner, but it is smaller than most. It was okay for a quick bite to eat but I probably wouldn't come out of my way to eat here again.

Came here for breakfast on a day trip to Pennsylvania was easily accessible off the highway, super friendly staff . Nice to see some healthy choices for breakfast. Enjoyed the Energy Platter. All the food we ordered came out quickly by a super friendly waiter of ours. Any other things we needed like coffee refills , water and napkins came out quickly. Love the feeling inside also has a nice seating area outside I saw. Would definitely come back for lunch or dinner sometime.

I came in after spending the day at Six Flags and was looking for quality food to sit down and enjoy. We were promptly sat and our waiter was so attentive and quick with everything we were impressed! Almost everything on the menu includes soup or salad. We enjoyed the seafood bisque soup of the day which was excellent. I ordered a belgian waffle and a burger. My friend ordered the cheesesteak. Both came out quickly and we were checked on throughout the meal if we needed anything else. The prices were also affordable! This will definitely be my place to come when I leave Six Flags from now on.

Stopped in on the way back to the city and was pleasantly surprised this place was on Triple D. Fairly empty when we were there and the service was prompt and friendly. Got the corn beef and hash and Florentine omelette. Portion sizes are large so we probably could have shared. Oh well. Quaint diner experience and next time I'd sit at the counter to get the full affect.

Much respect for marking this seat for "Marshall"

Hightstown diner is pretty much everything you could ever want in a diner. Let's start with the ambience. It starts off with advertisements from local businesses on the door pretty standard, and then also as followed by local advertisements on the placemat. Then everything from the counter stools to the tile on the wall. Nailed it! The food was good. What you' would expect from a diner, diner food. I ordered an avocado BLT. That was well manicured and delicious. End it with a cherry on top, which was a Leslie choice. She was our server for the afternoon, and had all the character and charm of what you would expect from a beautiful 83-year-old waitress from New Jersey. Loved it, please go visit Joyce!

On our way from New York to Virginia we decided to stop at Hightstown Diner to grab some breakfast. There are a lot of restaurants in the area, but everything was very quiet. I had the Eggs Benedict. It was good. Our waitress was a sweet, elderly lady and she was awesome.

Great nj diner. The place reminds me of going to the diner. The inside takes you back to the old days of NJ diners.

The numbers we found online weren't working so we couldn't tell if it was still open but decided to stop in today on a whim. The employees working were SO NICE. The two gentlemen were kind and made our experience here enjoyable. I ordered the veggie panini, my husband ordered the grilled chicken and avocado wrap and my son got the mushroom risotto. It took 40+ mins for our food to come out and they accidentally made my husbands wrap a panini. We couldn't wait any longer so he took the panini. The employee who took our order personally came over to apologize which was so kind and noble. The paninis were good, but the veggie was way too salty to finish. The side salad it came with was delicious - devoured it! The risotto (frozen - they don't have a kitchen) was good for my little one, but low on the flavor scale for me. The mocha latte we had was subpar. Unfortunately this spot was a flop for me food wise. 2 stars for the food, 5 stars for the service... 3.5 stars overall

This popular cafe is located right in the heart of Basking Ridge. It's small inside but there's outdoor seating also. We had a half hour wait for a table inside. The place has a very cozy feel to it and everyone we met who worked here was very friendly. I started my meal with a Vanilla Chai Latte and my wife had a Macha Latte. My wife ordered the Blintzes with blueberries and I had the Paris Morning breakfast. We both loved the food! My dish came with 2 potato pancakes, 2 poached eggs, and smoked salmon. Just delicious! A cool bit of trivia is that Paul McCartney and his wife stopped in here a few years ago. We didn't see Paul today, but we did enjoy the experience!

It was very busy yesterday around 11:30 am. When we finally got seated, the place did not disappoint. We first ordered macchiato, cappuccino, and lemonade, the coffee was strong and great! We ordered two American breakfast and Warsaw breakfast. One of the American was scrambled eggs and the other was egg over medium. The sausage was very tasty. It was not salty and the bacon was a little thick, and it was also not your typical salty bacon. The sausage was delicious and the bacon was nice and crunchy. The side potatoes were so delicious with onions and peppers. I finished all of mine. It was perfectly seasoned and not salty so eating this brunch was such a joy. The side roll was also delicious with butter. It looked like a sesame and wheat roll. It made it even so more enjoyable. The Warsaw breakfast was on a very hot small iron skillet. The Kabasa was delicious and it was typical on the salty side. The breakfast potato was delicious with the Warsaw breakfast, it had small cherry tomatoes with the potatoes. We also ordered two side pancakes. The pancakes were not as fluffy, but it was very good. It was on the expensive side for one pancake. It was around five dollars. Overall this breakfast restaurant was awesome. Small with a lot of character inside. The service was quick and on point.

My girlfriend and I looked at the extensive menu and thought, 'why come to the skillet and not order a skillet??' So we did - and we were not disappointed. She ordered the skillet with sweet potato and eggs and was really happy with her choice. I went for the ultimate skillet - which includes bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, a pancake and a waffle. Bacon is standard and the sausages (including the chicken) had a sweeter, mild flavor, but the eggs and potatoes were the real star of the show - just super well prepared. The pancake and waffle were ok, but I think I would have enjoyed them better on their own - they were more of an afterthought in the ultimate skillet and eating them last probably didn't help. Price was on target for brunch considering the generous portion and quality of the food and service. Would definitely come back if in the area.

We were seated immediately upon arrival (party of 4 at 11:15 on a Saturday!) and ordered a variety of menu options. Loved the variety of the menu , there was truly something for everyone's taste ! The Lemon Orange ricotta pancake was phenomenal and I love that they offer a single pancake (plain or specialty!) as a side so you can have your sweet treat post meal - more places should do this! The Fried rice under the coconut shrimp wasn't cooked super well; this was probably the most disappointing menu item. Their iced coffee can also be ordered to go; I had a black iced coffee so not much to review but the coffee itself was tasty! Loved the decor of the restaurant but it was very noisy and chaotic. Need something to absorb the noise to make for a much nicer experience. Overall definitely would return, especially if eating outside on a warmer day!

So upon doing my research I came across this restaurant. Now of course upon reading reviews everyone said to get there early because the line can get long especially on a Saturday and Sunday morning. Our waiter came out and gave us the rundown of the menu . They had a promo menu because of the Devil Wears Prada movie . I did get a specialty non alcoholic drink from the menu which was excellent. We ordered the French toast and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and it came with smoked salmon on sourdough bread . The French toast was so good and moist you didn't even need to add additional syrup . The food was delicious and the portion sizes are perfect . The food here is insanely fresh as was our daily interpretation involving copious use of root vegetables. In a Woodstock mood, I went for a mushroom motif inclusive of a mushroom onion soup and mushroom infused homemade cavatelli. You won't get points for atmosphere as the location is main street central and directly across from an Irish pub that is still serving the same slab of corned beef that they first boiled in 1991. If you're a foodie or even a fraudie, 12 Farms offers infinite pleasures and is richly deserving of a resounding five stars. Speaking of rich bring lots of cash as plastic is not accepted.

The soup sampling consisted of three very tiny cups that were sort of like an espresso size cup. The salad was a very small portion. They said that the portion sizes were not smaller because of the $65 price fix option. If you ordered the salads à la carte they arranged from $19-$22 I believe. Had I did the à la cart and received that portion for that much money I would be disappointed to say the least; my wife and I often share a salad before entrées and generally speaking they are big enough to share but their portion wasn't enough for me alone. Presentation was beautiful and service was great, as well as the ambience, and we have been there several times. We are raying a 3 because of the positives, but I did consider making it a 2. I hope the restaurant takes note and addresses the piints I made. Note that the entrée portions were good.
