    Gluten free pizza
    Naomi H.

What a joke. $25 for this?!? It's not even good. If you're gluten free save yourself the money and get a $7 gf pizza from Aldi. This is not worth it.

Pasta with stuffed pears, I call them beggars purses. They are delicious!

Best kept secret! Love this place. It's set back in a small town and the food is amazing. The staff is pleasant and the restaurant is very clean. They have TV's and a private parking lot.

Stracciatella & Burrata Ravioli Piccante Pizza

This place never disappoints. The stracciatella & burrata ravioli was plate licking good and the piccante pizza was crispy with just the right amount of crunch in the red onion. Beautiful night outside dining with smiles all around.

After being on lockdown for covid, a girlfriend and I were looking forward to a meal outside of the house. We don't live far from this location so it was convenient. We went inside and someone was doing a little photo shoot and barely acknowledged us walking in. We told the lady we would like to sit outside to which she just pointed out and said the waitress would meet us outside. Not the greatest vibe but we really wanted to give the place a try. The menu was adjusted (which was to be expected) but some of those items were also not available which we weren't told until we wanted to order it. The food was okay, my drink was the bottom of the bag which needed to be changed, my friends dish was watery, my pasta was average, bruschetta bread was basically burnt. For the price I was expecting more. While I understand covid has affected many businesses, I feel customer service should still be top notch. I did not feel that at this location.

    Gnocchi

Came here on a busy Saturday evening - unfortunately it was a bit TOO busy for the staff to handle. The soda I ordered had little syrup in it, but the staff said they were too busy to go downstairs to get more so advised me to order an alternate beverage. I ordered gnocchi for dinner, which was passable ... and a side salad that said it came with garlic bread - which ended up being two untoasted slices of a pita-like bread on top of the salad. Dessert was cannolis, which were very good. All in all though, next time I'm in town I think I'll skip this place.

Byob but quality local Italian style wines are available

Full disclosure: I know one of the owners pretty well, I worked with Tino at a business that shall be nameless. He is one of the genuinely nicest people you can hope to meet, and I am so happy to see that his new ventures are thriving. That being said, I took my Elite vows and would never let personal feelings influence a review. This location is in the middle of an old country town, and occupies a very old house that may been an Inn at one time. The decor is very nice, upscale rusticish? And I love the fact that although they are a Byob, they carry a selection of local wines. Most of the pizzas tempted me, but I choose a red clam. My unconscious tomato pie instincts twinged when I ordered it. I even double checked with the waitress as to whether it had mozz on it or not. It did not, she replied, but gave me a chance to customize it. I went with the menu version. If I were to order again I wood ask for light mozz on the bottom to maintain a better level of crispness. But the pizza was tasty, good sauce, fresh clams, and a generous amount of shaved Parmigiana Reggiano on top. The crust was very thin, but with a bit of folding I could eat it without damage. Make no mistake, these are truly personal size, hungry men at dinner time may require more than one. I would like to come back and try other styles, preferably with company so one of the quality and interesting salads could be sampled, along with a dessert that has already infested my brain( cannoli rollatini?) service was quick and friendly at lunch. This location or any other of the spots deserve attention, this is "new school" pie, but done in a way that honors their forefathers. 4 Yelps

Hidden gem! I recommend the Nonna pizza. It's absolutely amazing. The prices are on the higher end but the pizzas are worth the price.

Seating is crowded and it's a loud dining room, but the pizzas and salads are great! Also loving the slowly expanding menu.

I felt like I was in the city with the gorgeous lighting and ambiance. My friend and I went on ladies night, where every Wednesday they have a DJ and 10% off food/drinks at the bar! We started off with 3 different apps, the zucchini fritte, the meat and cheese board for two, and the rice balls. Everything was phenomenal! The rice balls were stuffed with shredded beef instead of ground beef which I liked and the Gorgonzola cheese sauce was tangy and savory. The zucchini fritte was fried to a golden crisp and felt light and satisfying. The meat and cheese board is truly perfect for pairing with some pre-dinner drinks! Neither of us felt like drinking that night so I got the Stella Rose red berry spritz and she got the black berry spritz. These were fruity and sweet and perfect for a night out. Great alcohol free options. For dinner I got the cacio e pepe which came in a huge serving. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and I really liked how creamy and cheesy it was without feeling too heavy. My friend got the eggplant rollatini which was a humongous portion and she devoured it and still had some for leftovers. These were both great meat-free options. For dessert I had the chocolate lava cake which was rich and decadent. Perfect for sharing but mine was all for me! My friend had the creme brûlée which she indulged on without a single bite to spare! Can't forget to mention the impeccable service! Our server Andres was so sweet and took excellent care of us and always checked in with us. I'm so glad I finally checked out Spigola! This is a perfect restaurant for a great meal. Since it is an elevated atmosphere, this makes it extra special for birthdays, anniversaries, date nights, etc. With their big event space in the back, Spigola's is a wonderful spot for showers, rehearsal dinners, parties, even intimate weddings. Pros: I genuinely can't think of a single favorable aspect of our dining experience…read more Cons: Everything--from the service, to the table spacing, to the food quality--was an issue. The ambiance and layout were problematic throughout the meal. The table spacing was already uncomfortably tight from the start, and toward the end of our visit, a party of 10 was seated in a way that completely blocked off the front left side of the already small dining area. This left only a narrow path on the right side for entry and exit. Given how confined the space became, it raised legitimate concerns about safety and whether the layout could pose an issue in the event of an emergency. After waiting 40 minutes for the complimentary bread, I finally had to speak up and ask for it to be brought to our table. Given that there were several open tables both inside and outside, we couldn't understand why there was such a tremendous delay with such a simple task. For an additional "starter" my dining partner ordered the Caesar salad which was completely drenched in dressing. While we were initially excited about the homemade pasta entrees, we were extremely disappointed once out they arrived. I understand that homemade pasta is typically served al dente, but neither dish was cooked properly. I had to cut my pasta with a knife because a fork simply wasn't enough, and my dining partner couldn't cut several pieces of his pasta at all--some were still noticeably crunchy. I was especially surprised, as I've dined here before and don't recall these kinds of issues--perhaps there has been a change in the kitchen. Unfortunately, we weren't able to address any of this during the meal because our waitress, Marti, never checked on us from the time she delivered our entrees (about an hour after we were seated). Not once, not even upon delivering the check did she ask us how our meals were! Before leaving, I chose to address the server, Marti, directly and share our experience. I expressed my disappointment with both the service and the food, but her response made an already bad experience significantly worse. Every comment was met with a large, clearly insincere smile and a dismissive "I'm sorry to hear that," with no effort to actually resolve anything. A good server would show genuine remorse, offer to involve a manager, or at the very least attempt to make things right--whether by addressing the issue or offering to comp part of the meal. None of that happened. There was no accountability, no urgency, and no real acknowledgment of the situation--just a phony, rehearsed response that felt completely disrespectful. To make matters worse, shortly after we left, my dining partner became ill, experiencing both diarrhea and nausea, along with severe stomach pain that has now lasted over 14 hours and is still ongoing. If I could give this experience a 0 out of 5, I would.
