They were extremely quick to respond to my inquiry via texting, asked great questions to get a sense of how much cleaning the dress would need (they requested some pictures of the stains up front), and gave me a quote for the cost that I felt was very reasonable. The pickup and drop-off part of this service is AMAZING, especially for someone with a busy schedule! They scheduled pick up at my house within a week despite having a high demand for wedding dress cleaning at the time, and sent me an update about what they were planning to do once they had their wedding dress expert take a look at the dress. Their turnaround time was much faster than I expected and they even sent pictures right after the cleaning was finished so I could see how well it came out! I had not requested a steaming since I didn't have plans to use the dress again anytime soon, but they did one complimentary for me which made the dress look absolutely stunning and like it was brand new. There was not a single residual stain left and the dress did not smell like anything - it was just perfectly clean. The final cost of the cleaning was exactly what I expected from the quote and I felt it was incredibly reasonable for the amount of cleaning they had to do, the speed and very high quality of service, and the helpful communication throughout the process. I was 100% satisfied with the end result and would absolutely recommend their services to anyone!

I recently moved to Los Angeles and found a new dry cleaners down the street from me that charged me half the cost for the same items which was refreshing. I thought of this place and wanted to leave a review to warn people how bad this was. These people were hostile, defensive, and greedy. They kept on hassling me about my clothes and texting me for approval for new costs. The texting person gave me an estimate and sent me like over 10 photos of my clothes to point out all the stains and hair that was on my clothes and repeatedly told me my clothes were wrinkled and very dirty. This was unnecessary and made me feel attacked and shamed. Like WTF?? I just wanted them to clean my clothes not pick faults with me! Instead, they acted like they were taking me to court! So much unnecessary stress and hassle for dry cleaners! They ended up charging me over $50 more than originally estimated because my clothes were oh so hard to clean and so dirty. Despite going over the original estimate, they still hassled and tried to guilt me for tip at the end saying they gave me a deal. What deal? Your services are super expensive! The tone they texted me was just so very rude it's like they didn't want me as a customer. I never fought them on the expensive costs but they were hostile from the start. I ended up going back to my previous dry cleaners, City Custom Tailor & Dry Cleaners in Belltown. They are not cheap either, but a little less expensive and they are chill. I do not think cheap dry cleaning exists in Seattle but this service sucks.

This is a 50-year-old heirloom where each piece has a story, and it is an ongoing project. Given there were signs everywhere emphasizing their no-strinkage safety with cotton fabrics, I stupidity trusted it. It returned shrunk, each tiny piece slightly smaller and buckled, therefore not matching the ongoing work at home, and many pieces ripped off. AND the tiny stain still remained. I had a near heart attack. Staff insisted they could "fix it". I returned take 2, stain still there, but quick shoddy repair of ripped pieces and they (kindly) insisted I did not have to pay for their mistake. Then, I spent 2 weeks at home re-calibrating to the shrunk piece, and another week removing ruined torn pieces (some were over a 100 years). Lesson learnt. NEVER take a vintage piece to any dry cleaner! A month on, I was still working on repairs.

They took the unusual route of speaking to the BBB through a lawyer in what I can only guess was some attempt to intimidate me, where they accidentally admitted they laundered the clearly wool curtain that I told them on initial drop-off was dry clean only. Additionally in my first interaction I gave them an out, saying if they couldn't do it that's ok I'd try elsewhere, and they assured me they could. The owner essentially called me a liar, said the curtain was in a poor state when initially brought in (as if that matters), and accidentally admitted they ruined my curtain. I used my trusty Yelp app and looked at reviews for businesses located in both Seattle and Shoreline. I decided on Sunshine Cleaners in Seattle's Wedgwood neighborhood based on the solid reviews. It's helpful that they have an adjacent parking area since they are located near a very busy intersection and thoroughfare. I brought in both his wool peacoat and one of my dressy business jackets with intricate detailed threading. I was greeted promptly, items assessed, contact information collected, and a cost estimate stated as I was handed a claim ticket. I returned a few minutes after the stated date and time on the claim ticket a few days later. Note - I wasn't in a hurry and didn't need it expedited. Both items were ready on hangars and plastic covers as promised. The price was very reasonable, both items were undamaged and looked great! And bonus, without that distinct dry cleaning chemical smell I recall from items taken elsewhere years ago. Convenient, professional, prompt service experienced with my first visit!

I got a ticket and was told it'd be ready by 5pm on pickup day. Pick up was easy as well, the skirt looked great and it was pretty reasonable priced as well (i think around $8). The employees here are masked, so I masked up as well. Only thing is I didn't get back the hanger that I brought it in on (it was one of the clip ones since it was a skirt), but they gave it back on one of their own hangers as well as a plastic cover bag. So if you are attached to your hangers, I wouldn't bring them.
