The apartment we were supposed to move into was not ready so I walked into this place and rented one of their biggest units. i Have not used storage in years and was so nervous & stressed out, but the virtual agent was kind, helpful and made things super easy. UNSAFE STORAGE FACILITATES!!! WEEKLY BREAK INS!!! Our unit was broken into and the management seems to not be very helpful. We also had purchased the theft insurance through them for an additional fee. They also have been giving us the runaround for months now. None of the cameras actually show anything as the downspouts for the gutter systems block all the view of the actual lanes where the units are at. Beware of this company when we filed a police report he said he is out here weekly with break ins. This in turn either tells me this is an inside job or they just don't care either way. Extremely horrible service over the phone. They denied our calling and having made a payment. They proceeded to vacate our property with never a notice. Assuming our account was current we went to retrieve our items to close our account and find we no longer have anything. They do not go through the proper chains of communication here. They could care less what happens to customer belongings. ZERO stars, or NEGATIVE 100, if possible. DO NOT STORE YOUR VALUABLES HERE. We've been renting there a year and just noticed half of my fiancés stuff was stolen. If so many bad reviews, why have the Menifee police not done anything about it yet??? Looks like an inside job to us. The lock wasn't even broken and seemed picked. The guy at the counter didn't even seem like it was a big deal. Seems like it happens all the time and yet they don't care. If you have a storage unit here you better double check your stuff! Just completely awful. Let be clear Bait and switch tactics are wrong and illegal. I personally think this place is ok. It looks fantastic from the outside and it's clean and easy to accesss. I called the Prime storage # and they had no problem telling me all of the right things to get me into a unit. The persons in the phone was willing to discount and offer a referral fee. Since I was referred by one of their customers I quickly said yes. I get there and the persons behind the counter listened to me about the referral and never did anything about it. Then my referrer got a Price of a price increase at the 3 month point. Every week Prime asks me to review their place and I refused to. Well, here I am 3 months in, and WHAM! A 22% price increase! Really you people? Add this to the breakins, and referral fee lies. Let's have honest here, who wants to be lied to or switched up on? If you do, this is the place for you. Had my unit for not even a month and half my stuff was stolen, people that work there live in the units and claim I need a subpoena to see footage to have time to delete the footage. I barely rented a spot for our travel trailer 2 months ago. THEY RAISED MY RATES AFTER ONLY 2 MONTHS! I asked to speak with manager and they sent an email to get back to me. You can't speak to anyone regarding the rate increase. This is a terrible place & terrible customer service when trying to get an issue resolved. I would not recommend. The previous owners were way better and much more reasonable people. This place is very expensive for storage and not worth the money. Thievery abound! went to unit 2 weeks ago. My lock was hard to open. After finally getting it opened I discovered 70% of my property was gone. My lock had been picked. After getting manager, we were examining my unit and noticed the hasp on the unit next to me was cut and lock missing. Manager opened it and it was totally cleaned out. Nothing! The attitude of "so sad, too bad" was apparent. Have been at this facility for years when it was under different ownership. Never an issue. Since Prime has taken over, 1 year ago, my rates have almost doubled. Thievery is rampant by the managers own admission. THIS IS HAPPENING IN BROAD DAYLIGHT! And I keep getting billed for their BS propert insurance even after providing a copy my homeowners policy stating I am covered for off property theft. AND...... their are billing me late charges for not paying for something I already have. If you value your belongings, stay away from here. read more

I have had my unit at this place for over 8 years in that time I have moved to a larger unit. Once ownership changed hands the rates increased every 3 months. I started with the largest unit is currently have at $315 a month and they continued to increase that price to nearly $500 in a short period of time. I talked to another tenant and they have the same size unit and started out at $330 a month just a few months ago. I notified them I would be I will be leaving because of their rate increases and they did not care or offer to reduce my rate or freeze it. Customer service is not good. read more

Wow. Horrible service. Stuff goes missing from storages. They have some thieves that pick locks. Cut locks. RVs getting stolen. I was there when he was reporting it. They said oh well too bad so sad. I had 3 spots with them. They raise up the rent when you have a contract. Horrible. I moved all my stuff out. Called there hotline. Told them I was out. She said it would be fine. Be advised: Old family owners sold to new corporate owners (Prime Storage) that now have horrible service and will try to "rip" you off! I had been renting an RV uncovered space for several years and recently these knuckle heads lost my owner insurance and charged me a fee, lost my new contract, then I just received a notice that my monthly rental charge would be doubled. When confronted they made excuses and said the rent increase was to be comparable to the local area. Well fact: I just signed a new contract with another local storage facility that provides RV covered parking with all the RV amenities included for the same price and they are local family owned. Beware! I am shopping for new storage and called this place because they stated they had a storage unit available for my RV. I let the guy I know I was interested in storing but I wanted to check out the facility first. The gentleman on the phone stated that he recommend I reserve it because they only had one unit. I asked if I reserve it and I don't like the unit will I get my reservation fee back. He assured me I will. The same day I went over to the unit to look at the spot. The girl at the front desk stated that Her computer was down and she wasn't sure what spot I was in. I explained to her that I was told there is only one available. She still didn't know which one it was. I then let her know they I was not impressed and would like my reservation fee back. She said I had to call back in. When I called the person answered said they couldn't help me and they would have a manager call. The manager finally called and said they don't do refunds. I explained how I stated several times I wanted to check out the security and unit before I rented and was assured I could get a refund if needed. She said they don't do that. She said she would get back to me but hasn't yet. Shame on me for believing the gentleman on the phone. They blatantly lied and then they provided horrible customer service.
