    Viral suya wrap

I decided too try the viral suya beef wrap from prime grill and it is definitely amazing ! Do yourself a favor and try it with extra sauce! It cost about $20 and I promise you'll definitely be back to get another one the flavor of this wrap is awesome . The customer service was outstanding. SUYA WRAP/ SHAWAMA: GRILLED BEEF SUYA WRAP

I finally tried the viral Suya Wrap at Prime Grill! This was a pickup order. The Suya Wrap: 8/10. The suya was INCREDIBLY well-seasoned and moist! If you are a meat lover, this will probably be a 10/10 for you. I would argue that the wrap actually has too much meat and would taste more balanced with a little less. In the future, I will try the combo wrap, as I thought rice would also help balance the wrap! The wrap sauce tastes like a spicy ranch and pairs well with the meat. The fries are nothing to write home about. (Note: It is not clear on DoorDash, but the wrap comes with fries and the container of sauce.) Ambiance & Service: The shop is casual and small. The staff is very friendly. The woman who gave me my order came out from the back and greeted me with a big hello and made small talk with some of the other patrons waiting for their orders. It was super welcoming. Parking: The restaurant is located next to a church, so on Sunday, the parking lot was beyond capacity. Other days of the week, I imagine parking is no issue.

Let me be 100% honest and raw. SERVICE: sucks! They are VERY SLOW, molasses, turtle moves...they gave me the wrong food, owner was nonchalant and mean looking. AMBIANCE: dismal at best. The place is in an abandoned shopping center strip. It's very small inside the restaurant. FOOD: so damn GOOD!!! This is my third time there and everything I have had, tasted so good. Get the suya wrap 10/10, wings and fries 10/10, Egusi Soup and pounded yam 10/10. I guess what they say is true. "The worse the service and decor, the better the food." Prime Grill in Laurel DEFINITELY embodies that saying 100%. Want more authentic opinions? Check out my video reviews and more on my various platforms: CocoasJoy

Thoughts: So you heard about this from Tik Tok too hahaha but that Suya Wrap, finally a great Nigerian dish (I want all the smoke lol jk) Food: Grilled Beef Suya Wrap- typically a plate is brought out and a WWE battle royal commences in order to get suya, so it was nice to get my own and I must say that combining it with red onions, tomato, red cabbage and a splash of house sauce makes you suck your teeth and in the good way lol. Very juicy, tasteful and a mouthful to eat- 9/10 Fries- Solid it was not over or under cooked and the sauce(taste like yum yum sauce) was good if you prefer a tangy sweet-7 /10 Service: We walked in and the place was packed and it seemed like we would be waiting an hour like Tik Tok said but it was a smooth 25 minutes, not too bad and it seemed everybody was there for the same thing. You ordered from a kiosk and everybody was in the back and only really came out to announce completed orders and give food out. - 6/10 Ambiance: It has open seats like a restaurant but everything was kind of close. I would say you can eat in but more than likely want to just grab and go, but if definitely had the Afrobeat blasting in the backroom- 6/10 Recommendation: I came just for a Grilled Beef Suya Wrap, I had to make sure that was solid before trying anything else, but yes it was and I will be back -Arnold S. voice I would recommend a solid 8.5/10

Suya suya and suya! My family and I ordered 3 Suya wraps, and two suya platters highly recommend you either order online or call before you go. We waited 30 minutes for our food. This place is currently going viral for their Suya wraps so we decided to give It a try. Suya wrap is worth the hype, the wrap contains a lot of meat, nice spice and ask for suya powder It makes the difference! Suya itself is pretty tough but it's thick cut and full. You get your moneys worth coming here. Ask for more suya powder!

Don't sleep on this place guys. I ordered a suya wrap from this place the other day. Listen! It was so good. And they were generous on the filling too. Can easily be shared. It was that big. Not skimpy at all. It came with a side of fries and dipping sauce. The sauce is very spicy! 5 alarm type so tread lightly. lol. Overall, I would visit again.

Came here only for the suya wrap! The actual wrap is like a 4/5 but just know it tasted so much better after I reheated it in the air fryer. This wrap has SO much meat like they definitely are not stingy with that but it is also twenty dollars so that makes sense. I would've loved more veggie and tomato to give more of a wrap-esque and less burrito. The fries were stale and not fresh. I definitely recommend placing an order before because it takes 20-30 mins for your food to be ready and the restaurant isn't very cozy for waiting. Not sure I would come back but thanks TikTok for the rec!

I have to tell you. The suya wrap is everything! The flavor, the grilled wrap filled with suya, red cabbage, onion, tomato, finished off with a house sauce. It was delicious! Served up with crispy golden fries. This was well worth $20. I'll be back again soon!

The food was delicious, Prime Grill definitely gained another customer. Ordering is a bit confusing as it's self order off two tablets. Suggestion, save some time and order online. I got the famous wrap with the jollof rice which was packed with flavor and hot! The only thing that could be improved is customer service.

I wanted to like this so much! But I couldn't force myself. I stopped by a pretty empty shopping center and decided to try this restaurant out. I paid for Steak & rice with a ginger drink. The jollof rice was the best thing I had. It was seasoned very well. The steak unfortunately was extremely overcooked. The meat was more like jerky in texture, even though the seasoning was flavorful it was really tough to eat. I plan on returning on a weekday, maybe I just went at closing on a Sunday.

Just awful what a waste of calories. It was cold and bland. The fries were stale and had no salt. The wrap tasted like nothing. The restaurant smells bad, feels isolated, and staff and unprofessional. I wouldn't be surprised if they were violating health codes. I've seen uncountable positive reviews raving about this place but they are likely paid. The wrap yes is big but isn't worth the price. The suya isn't good and I've had suya since I was a child from several countries in west Africa. I havent been this disappointed in a restaurant in a while, save your money.

This place lived up to the hype behind all the social media ads I've been seeing for it. I went for the suya wrap and got a side of fries. The first bite I took was heavenly! The flavors and spice of the suya was exactly what I've been craving and I see myself going here again. The only reason they didn't get 5/5 stars is that you have to come here when you have time to waste because the wait will be a while. But the wait is honestly worth it!

Nonetheless, we walked in and the female owner was meeting with someone else, but greeted us, and we sat down immediately. The waitress was fairly nice. She gave her recommendations after we inquired. I drank water, but my friend had a a drink. She said it was good. My one con is that they didn't have any diet soda products, so water was my only option. Food: samosas as appetizers were okay 7/10, o. soup and pounded yam were 10/10. Very delicious. My friend had fried chicken and jollof rice (I had a bite). The rice was 8/10. Very smokey flavor, but good. The chicken was fried VERY HARD, tough and difficult to eat 1/10. The food didn't match the images on the menu. Review the pictures... The atmosphere was okay 7/10 (see pics) but the place was a bit small. However, the music was good (Afrobeats) with the music videos playing on the huge screens. The bathroom was clean. Overall, since the food I had was so good, I would recommend it. Service was pretty efficient and quick. I was not a fan of what I ordered, although I am still learning the basics when it comes to African food. I went with the "fried chicken" and Jollof Rice. The fried chicken was HIGHLY disappointing.. I would encourage to remove from the menu entirely. They were cut into pieces so your essentially paying more for less and extremely dry, like it was fried repeatedly. The Jollof rice was not bad but it did have a smoky flavor that I just personally am not a fan of but I wouldn't rule out the Jollof! My friend a certified Nigerian enjoyed her food thoroughly so that's a great reason to check them out!

I did choose to eat from the Zion Kitchen menu which on the day, I regretted. I am not a big African cuisine consumer so I wasn't aware that it was going to be HOT. The menu didn't mention everything was going to be hot. It was so hot that I let it touch my tongue only twice and then told them to bag it. I did request some rice because I figure if I ever do get the courage to eat it, the rice will help. Everything is a-la-carte and if you don't know to order something, you just have a very sad meal. The menu hints at telling you, you should order all 3 parts but you could expect your stew to have something in it but it will not. Your stew is a soup or better yet a broth of sorts. You have to also order a starch and a protein unless of course you only want the blazing hot broth. Not only was it spicy, it was scolding hot which amplifies the spice. Once I got it home and warmed it up the next day, I added some honey to it to cut the heat and it worked perfectly. I'm sure it did however change the intended taste but if the intended taste is fire, that's not my cup of tea. Also, there wasn't a lot of meat on the things that I ordered but the "beef" was good. I tried the combo but that had a little piece of beef and cow foot which is a type of fat that you have to bite off the bone and then something that was similar in texture to the fat on the cow feet but I think it was ... I don't even remember what it was. It wasn't bad but it wasn't meat.
