I recently had dinner here about 2 weeks ago with my family and it was our first visit. The place was not full but there was a private dinner party happening. The party got a little loud towards the end with a lot of back and forth by not only staff but the dinner guests. So, that was a little distracting. The wait staff were nice enough but didn't really give us much attention after our orders were placed and served. They were more concerned about the private party. The food itself was just mediocre to me. I ordered the branzino and had clams casino as an appetizer. My daughter has the same. She didn't like her fish and said that I make it better. I'm not a chef, just a home cook. So, what does that tell you? My son ordered the steak and asked it to be cooked medium rare. What he got was medium bordering on well. I had such high hopes for this restaurant... It was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the staff was attentive. Unfortunately my meal just didn't come out right and although the waiter and manager did their best to make it right, it fell short. My meal came out about 15 minutes after the rest of the table's, and it was wrong. Then the waiter put it in a second time, but it was incorrect and when I finally did get my steak, which was supposed to be medium well, it came out tough and hard. What a wonderful surprise dining experience we had here! Reservations were made and my party of 8 thoroughly enjoyed their dinner. We came on a rainy summer evening so it was ideal to be inside with the air conditioning rather than the humid outdoor bungalow type seating. Albeit that would be great in the Spring and Fall. LOL Dishes that are a must try: - Appetizer: grilled octopus. Refreshing and delicate. Great texture. - Appetizer: crab cakes, so flavorful and decent in size. Sadly one per order but it was a must have per my guest. So we ordered two for the table. - Heritage Pork Chop entree - super thick, moist and delicious. It almost didn't need the veggies and garnish on top. Pretty but the goal was the chop. Perfectly cooked at medium per my request. - Porterhouse for the table (can serve 2-3 if you're not big eaters). We shared for six adults given we ordered plenty of other stuff. Visited here last night for a friends bday dinner. Walking in the place , we knew it was super fancy and the restaurant was very cozy. The decor and ambiance was amazing. We were greeted and seated right away . As we had a large group , we had the opportunity to sit in there private room behind the wine wall. It was very private and loved the square table setup. It was 10 of us and I was able to see each and every single person. Food wise, we ordered bunch of apps like Meatballs , Calamari , Pizza , Crab Cake etc . Everything was good, portions were on the smaller side I felt. Now on to the main course Porterhouse and Lamb Chops. Lamb Chops were amazing I actually wished I ordered that. Steaks on the other hand I felt were undercooked to our liking . We had said we wanted medium and it was more on the rare side . But over all was we ate it , definitely didn't like their House Steak Sauce , it was like sweet ketchup. I would like to start by saying I loved Prime 1024 so this experience was as shocking as I am writing this review... also, the circumstances were unique as there was a fire across the street A few of us had a reunion so we came back to Prime because our past experiences were great. It started with cold bread and their signature ricotta spread which was still very delicious The spaghetti with lobster and carbonara was mediocre for the price that we were paying. I will acknowledge that there was a lot of lobster but the pasta and the sauce was not as great as we remembered The steak... the prime rib was perfect but the sirloin initially came out over done (beyond well done) so we had to get it redone. While the meats were cooked well, there was no flavor.. something didn't taste right. I will say that the prime rib marbling was phenomenal. The quality of the prime rib was beautiful but the flavor just missed the ballpark The calamari was fine but again, the breading was falling off. The shrimp was great but the smell of the shrimp was surprisingly pungent The service was disappointing - I can attest to this because I have been a Prime customer since 2020 and I know what they were and their service was lukewarm. The server (who we barely saw) insisted that we get bottled water because there was a contamination but when we looked around, other tables had tap water Overall, the food and the service was lukewarm. I came here the other day for dinner. I have to say that while the food easily deserves 4-5 stars, their valet service was such a mess that I had to give the overall experience 3 stars. The appetizers we tried were absolutely delicious. The bread was simply to die for. They brought a warmed focaccia with whipped ricotta cheese. As well as the calamari - fried to perfection. The lamb chops and Brussel sprouts were absolutely divine too! The part that made this entire experience so frustrating for me however, was the valet/parking. When I drove in, they told me that they were only offering Valet that evening and self park would not be an option. Ok... No problem. I let them valet my car. However, after dinner, this is where things weren't the best. The switched over to either self park as well as Valet. Unfortunately, they left my car (and several of my friends' cars) unlocked, one with keys inside the vehicle as well! Thank goodness nothing happened. From the moment we stepped inside we knew it was different. It is a well designed space to enter. Everyone had their own table within their own glass designed space. In today's environment it did protect each other from the way we live. But it also created an area where you can see each other but you had your own private area to be in. It was privacy but in the open. With the menu in hand, the waiter reviews what the specials are for the day. It sounds interesting. We made our selection and then waited to begin. The team brought us some homemade fresh Italian bread with a side dip of Ricotta Cheese and olive oil. This is what you would expect in a typical Italian home. It was fresh, creamy and seasoned. The bread was warm and easy to use with the dip. Our first order was Fresh Oysters that were out of the sea. They were cut in the shell and waiting on the ice. A small twist of lemon and each bite was a good bite. It actually reminds us of eating at Lundy's in Brooklyn years ago. We also had an order of Calamari. Light fried rings from local squid. It was fresh, slightly bread and then fried. The pieces were large with a light breading that was tasteful. It did not need anything else. There was a dip of sauce and another dip of ricotta cheese. Both had seasoning, flavor, and some lemon aioli you could add to each bite you would take. The next item was a Beet Salad. But this was not any beet salad. This was a combination of red and golden beets topped with goat cheese and pistachios placed over escarole and seasoned with lemon vinaigrette. It was just enough. It was light, fresh, and something to enjoy with each bite. It had just enough spice to make it rich and a meal itself. As this finished our next item were the entrees. First up were the Lamb Chops.You received four lamb chops that were sliced and cooked on the grill. They were topped with some olive oil and a little spice and nothing else. Cooked medium they were soft, fresh, moist and pink inside. You could slice them and take a bite to enjoy by themselves or with a side order. In this case it was finger potatoes topped with parmesan cheese. Lightly coated it was a good compliment to the lamb. Next we had Tuna. This was more Asian style as it was thin and breaded with sesame and some soy. That was it. It was then pan seared fast so it was raw but warm inside. It was soft and moist and each bite was perfect. On the side was fresh spinach that was also sauteed and placed in the pan quickly to make it soft and warm. A little seasoning was all you needed to enjoy a meal that was light and tasty. Naturally, we had to have a traditional Hamburger plate. This was a large beef burger that was freshly made. It had salt and pepper and was topped with cheddar cheese that was melted as it was all cooked on the grill. This came with caramelized onions, shiitake mushrooms, and truffle aioli to make it unique. It was then placed on a hamburger bun. Alongside was homemade french fries and a pickle. A typical hamburger but with a better taste with each bite. Finally they brought us an order of Pasta with Ragu. The fettuccine was homemade with the best taste. It was cooked and al dente. It could have been a meal itself. But then it was mixed with the tomato sauce that had garlic, spice and seasoning. It included a combination of beef and veal that was grounded and mixed in the sauce which was then mixed with the pasta. A true ragu. It was also topped with some ricotta cheese for a little flavor very typical in Italy. Once this was over it was time for dessert. First was the Tiramisu. This was homemade as well. It was fresh and moist. It was not sweet but flavored. It was not cold but at room temperature. It was smooth and light. It was made of marscapone cheese, lady finger pastries and topped with chocolate crumbs. It even had a flavoring with espresso. We shared this to enjoy together. Next we had the dessert that was a true winner. This was the Lava Cake. It is pastry and chocolate. When you reach into it the chocolate cream comes out and is warm and tasty. It is excellent. It also comes with fresh vanilla ice cream and a side of whipped cream. All freshly made. Nothing too sweet. Just something to try and enjoy. Overall, with a raw fish bar to start, new salads to select, the meat, the pasta and more there is always something there for you. There is even something to enjoy such as wine, or cocktails, fine Ports, and even an assortment of beverages and teas, Prime 1024 does make it all available. Prime 1024 offers everything. The price is not inexpensive. The rate for the quality of the food is what you can expect for what you can select here. You do get what you pay for. All of the staff are personable and kind. We were lucky to have Juan serve us again. He was so attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was just as delightful or better than the last time we were here. We ordered the medium rare tomahawk bone marrow special. It was delicious! Please note that when ordering a meat serve on the sizzling stone the chef will cook it one degree below asked as the meat continues to cook on the stone, to which Juan advised us. I need my space and some of the other places around here have us packed in like sardines. The space and aesthetic gives this place a very luxurious feel. The food itself is good. We've gotten a few different steaks, appetizers, drinks, and they've never disappointed. The service is pretty good. One time, my friend ordered a steak medium rare and it came out medium. We asked the waiter what the restaurant is known for and they said steak. Everyone except myself ordered the filet mignon. I ordered the salmon. Everyone at my table had to return their steak as the temps were all off and all came out black and blue or very rare. Then half of the steaks had to go back a second time due to still being severely underdone. Finally the steaks came out medium rare. My family and I had dinner here for my dad's birthday. It is a beautiful restaurant and has a lot of parking behind it. They also offer valet parking. Upon entering in, you are greeted by the hostess who will check your coat. We came for an early dinner as the early bird special ends at 6. It was delicious, just had a few too many onions in at the bottom so I gave it to my husband to finish. My husband had the meatball appetizer. It was cooked really well and the meatballs and sauce were tasty. My mother and brother ordered the fried calamari. They enjoyed it. I thought the texture of the calamari was a little too rubbery. My dad ordered a Caesar salad, which he enjoyed. For dinner, I recommend the salmon. My brother and I both ordered this and it was cooked very well. Perfectly seasoned and moist. I also enjoyed the vegetables that were with it. My grandmother ordered the halibut, which is not on the early bird. She thought it was just ok. The rest of the table ordered the filet mignon. Although my husband was the only one who ordered it rare, everyone's came out black and blue. This is a grade under rare. My husband likes his meat this way so he did not send it back. Everyone else sent there's back. Everyone else has ordered theirs medium rare but changes their order to medium since the chef here clearly thinks that black and blue is rare. The wait staff took back the steak and were apologetic about it. My mother had to send hers back twice because each time the steak was just too rare. There were two things that bothered me about this restaurant and why they did not get 5 stars. One was that the chef clearly did not know how to time the steak to cook properly. To have to send back a steak two times for not being made to the way it was ordered, is crazy to me. The second thing is that for such a high end restaurant, you would think that there would be soap in the soap dispensers in the bathroom. Only the men's rooms had soap. All 3 ladies stalls did not. Since we ordered the early bird, our meal came with dessert. I got pistachio ice cream, which was delicious. My brother and grandfather got chili Kate lava cake. The rest of the table ordered the tiramisu, which was HUGE! It was very good though. They also sang happy birthday to my dad, which was very nice. I would come back and try the pasta. The food was nothing special and just pretty basic. It was mediocre. We got steak, creamed spinach and mash potatoes. The cream spinach wasn't really creamed spinach. We also got a dessert. Everything is a la carte. I don't mind spending the money on food that is out of this world but this place just didn't do it for me. As you walk outside of the chic restaurant and through the front doors, you notice the beautiful decor and chandelier overhead. Each table is separated by a partition for safety and privacy. They have tables that are half outdoor and enclosed so it appears to be inside seats. I sat down at my table that was near a private dining area. Spacious and more acoustic friendly than Limani, you can hold a convo with your grandpa and he will hear you. They are experienced staff and owners but there are some kinks that are not major but are there. The meals were fabulous and the service a bit off but not sure why that evening al desserts were brought to table and I was told at that moment (not before) that they had no vanilla ice cream and offered fig... strange enough ok, but the fig ice cream took forever to come and it was terrible. PRIME 1024 is taking all precautions to ensure the safety of their staff and customers. They require masks for entry and for when you're not eating, all staff are diligently wearing their masks and gloves. The tables are appropriately spaced with partitions. And they are on the ball with cleaning after every guest. I'm so in love with the service, food and ambience I'm Driving from Brooklyn to Roslyn at least once a week. Making a reservation is a breeze and the staff is as welcoming and attentive on the phone as they are in person. My go to cocktails are CUCUMBER MARTINI and the SPICY PASSION FRUIT MARGARITA. Both are very tasty. But the Margarita is a quick getaway to a sunny Island. The cocktail list is nicely curated and the wine list is expansive. There's something for everyone. A good start is always the fresh and deliciously self-dressed) KUMAMOTO OYSTERS, CALAMARI, SEA SCALLOPS, CRAB CAKE and MUSSELS. I need variety when it comes to my appetizers and I haven't been disappointed to date. I'm still making my way through the menu but: The Salmon, Branzino, Swordfish, Halibut (one night's Special), Mushroom Risotto with Shrimp (another night's special) and Linguine Al Gamberi are a few of my favorite dishes. All the dishes were made to perfection with fresh ingredients. The presentation is as delectable as the taste. For dessert I've enjoyed TIRAMISU, LAVA CAKE and CHEESECAKE (all remarkable choices) but I've got my eyes on PANNA COTTA and AFFOGATO. Superb Service gets me every time! We made brunch reservations for Mother's Day, for my wife, DIL, son, grandson, and me. The ambiance was very nice, and the place was clean and also elegant. Our server was very friendly. The food was excellent, with the exception of the steak fries, yes steak fries were one of the choices as a side dish. They were a little soggy and maybe undercooked. The hostess and the rest of the staff were very accommodating, and friendly. We ordered clams, oysters, shrimp, crab cake, and a porterhouse. All were cooked to perfection. Woooo wooo woooo ‍ the food here is amazing to say the least , the drinks just as great ! The crab cake is top 2 & it's not 2 !! The salmon skin has a crunch heard is heaven , the calamari is also one of the best I've had and I've had many .. i recommend this restaurant for special occasions, on the pricey side but absolutely worth every penny read more

Steak dinner was on the brain. I called to see if they could accommodate a last min reservation for two, on a Saturday around 6:30. The gentleman kindly agreed to hold a table for us until 7. We pulled into the parking lot 715. The hostess still accommodate us. One star for Franc. Our waiter won us over with his delectable wording on the specials. A porterhouse steak for two turn into what was described as a marble cut waygu tomahawk steak, creamy truffled spinach and hand cut fries. Mouthwatering right?! What we got was anything but... not a ounce of truffle. No marbled waygu. More like a regular tomahawk steak, nothing special. We ask for medium, came medium rare. We had a steak craving and I guess we checked if off but not in a good way. Dinner was mediocre at best, idk why I tortured myself to stay and order desert. Our waiter was nice enough to offer complimentary dessert and lemoncello. One star for comp. Dessert menu was DISMAL! But I forced myself to order. Cheesecake was completely tasteless. I had better cheesecake from first time bakers. The lava cake was still cold and lacked any ooze of a warm gooey center. My double espresso was MIA, until my dinner date made severe eye contact with our waiter about 20 min after ordering. Overall, seems like a trendy place but the food is mediocre at best.
